"Face? I thought you had lost all sha in front of the entire country, Shen Jia," Shangguan You said with a derisive chuckle. Her petite fra walked towards Shen Cheng as a faint scent of lotus wafted from her, rushing into Shen Cheng’s nostrils.

"Shangguan You, stop right there! Clarify your words!" Shen Jia roared, blocking Shangguan You’s path.

"I’m sorry, but this young lady doesn’t have the ti or the energy to argue with soone so shaless and thick-skinned. It’s beneath my dignity," Shangguan You replied with a light laugh, extending her delicate hand to push Shen Jia aside and walked toward a car adorned with a red flag.

Shen Jia was breathing heavily, his face a ghastly green as he glared fiercely at Shangguan You.

"Little sister, where do you live? If it’s Shuten Road, we can offer you a free ride just this once," Shen Cheng said in a llifluent voice, his smiling eyes fixed intently on Shangguan You’s cold gaze.

"Youyou." A commanding voice rang out, whereupon an elderly man in his fifties with an air of vigorous dignity appeared in front of Shangguan You. Gazing at the man dressed in a Tang suit, exuding righteousness and looking at her with affection, Shangguan You felt a montary haze before her eyes, as if she saw her deceased grandfather. Tears suddenly welled up.

She threw herself into Shangguan Zhi’s arms. "Grandpa," she called out, her voice trembling.

"Very well, it’s good you’re back." Shangguan Zhi’s heart softened. His most beloved granddaughter had finally returned. He swept a majestic glance at Shen Jia, then, embracing Shangguan You, they walked toward a red-flagged car parked at the roadside.

"You, young lady, need to think over your words more carefully. Be cautious to avoid bringing trouble upon yourself. Not everyone is as kind-hearted as Youyou and willing to overlook your rudeness."

Shangguan Zhi’s voice was sowhat cold. He couldn’t bear to see his granddaughter suffer the slightest grievance. That soone dared to insult Youyou so openly... if not for allowing Youyou...

Alas, Youyou must have had it tough in B City.

Shangguan You turned her head, a cold look in her eyes as she glanced at Shen Cheng and Wanqian, curling her lips into a mocking smile before getting into the car. Amidst Shen Jia’s humiliation, Shen Cheng’s surprise, and Wanqian’s anger, she departed with poise.

In the car, Shangguan You sat by the window on the right side, her face calm as she watched the trees flash by outside. She appeared tranquil, but inside her emotions surged tumultuously. Her hands, hidden in her sleeves, were clenched tightly. She thought she would lose control upon seeing Shen Cheng and Wanqian again, but to her surprise, she remained calm today.

"Youyou, you’ve suffered during this ti, even becoming thinner. It’s Grandpa’s fault for not protecting you well. My dear granddaughter, it pains that you had to endure hardship. Ah..." Shangguan Zhi’s wise eyes filled with distress. The girl who had just claid to be Youyou’s classmate had humiliated Youyou in public. It was not hard to imagine how much Youyou must have suffered in B City. Yet, she never phoned ho to complain but silently bore everything and proved her worth with her own strength. As he looked at the now composed Shangguan You, his eyes betrayed a deep sense of regret and pain.

Moreover, Youyou truly lived up to being Shangguan Zhi’s granddaughter. Almost everyone in the compound knew her. She skipped grades and erged with perfect scores in public examinations, generously forgiving those who humiliated her. Her magnanimity, her intelligence—few could stand beside her as equals.

"Youyou doesn’t bla Grandpa," Shangguan You said to Shangguan Zhi, lifting her head and smiling lightly, her hand naturally taking his arm, clinging to his clothes with dependence and admiration in her eyes.

"What happened in the past has happened and cannot be changed. Since it can’t be changed, why not accept it? Besides, Youyou doesn’t bla Grandpa for his decisions. They were also a test for , and how could a daughter of the Shangguan Family be inferior to others?" Shangguan You said with a faint smile, her deep eyes sparkling brightly as she looked at Shangguan Zhi, who despite his age, remained spirited.

"Good, good, truly worthy of being my Shangguan Family’s direct descendant." Shangguan Zhi’s wise eyes glead with relief. He had been afraid that his granddaughter would bla him. It seed he had worried unnecessarily. Having such an outstanding granddaughter was his greatest pride. And if Youyou hadn’t gone to B City, how could she have undergone such a rebirth?

The car drove through bustling streets, heading for the serene military compound. Saluting soldiers at the gate respectfully watched as the leader’s car entered the compound.

"We’re ho," Auntie Zhang said, taking a deep breath as she removed the luggage from the car. The guards promptly took it and headed towards a three-story villa.

"Youyou, we’re ho." Gazing at the empty doorway, a hint of displeasure flashed in Shangguan Zhi’s eyes. Then he smiled at Shangguan You and strode toward the villa.

"Yes, Grandpa," Shangguan You replied, a hint of a cold smile on her lips as she followed Shangguan Zhi. Shangguan You, I am finally back. I will reclaim everything owed to you, one by one.

As Shangguan Zhi entered the hall, Mada Shangguan hurriedly greeted him. "Old man, you’re ho. Have so hot tea. Where’s little Youyou?" Seeing the expression on her husband’s face, she knew he was displeased and quickly took Shangguan You’s hand, examining her with concern.

"Tsk, tsk, just half a year apart, and little Youyou has grown even more lovely. The grace she displayed on television—even Rou couldn’t compare to it. Truly worthy of our Shangguan Family’s granddaughter. You’ve brought glory to our family," the old lady said, pulling Shangguan You affectionately to sit on the couch and started chatting idly.

With a flicker in her deep eyes, Shangguan You wondered, Why aren’t the mother and daughter here?

"Wanying and Rou heard you were coming back today, so they went shopping early this morning, saying they wanted to cook your favorite dishes. Look, they’re not even back yet. Wanying and Rou were so excited last night, they couldn’t sleep. You must have had a hard ti over there, separated for half a year," the old lady said, wiping her tears as she spoke with a touch of sadness.
