"Sir, how could there be hair in the food? That’s impossible! I’ve been in business here for over ten years, and this has never happened."

"Never happened, huh? Then what’s this?" With a CRASH, the shouting middle-aged man slamd his bowl to the ground and pulled out a strand of hair.

No one knew where the hair had co from at that mont.

"Sir, I’m so sorry, truly sorry. This is our fault. The al is on the house. If there’s anything else you want, I’ll bring it right out," the stall owner’s wife hurried forward, trying to smooth things over. She then turned to glare fiercely at her husband. Both of them were around thirty.

These people are clearly troublemakers; we can’t afford to offend them. Even if it isn’t our fault, we still have to apologize.

"On the house? Do you think we ca here to eat for free? Do you think *I* can’t afford my al? This is *your* problem! *I* found a hair in my food, and you think just waiving the bill will solve it? What kind of person do you take for?"

"Sir, Miss, we’re just a small business, please..."

BANG! The entire table was flipped over. Bowls shattered on the ground with a loud CLATTER!

"A small business, huh? So if I find a hair, this is how you treat ? You motherfuckers! Do you even see ? Do you have any respect for ?! You think *I’m* the one telling you to scam people? You think *I’m* the one telling you to serve food with hair in it?!"

While cursing, he threw a heavy punch toward the stall owner’s wife’s chin.

"Why are you hitting her? We’ve already comped your al and apologized! Why are you still hitting people?!" The owner grabbed the man’s hand, cursing angrily.

"Comped al? You think finding a hair in my food can be dismissed so easily? Dream on! Guys, get ’em! No one leaves until there’s blood! From now on, every ti we see them, we beat them! Let’s teach them a lesson. Around here, *I* call the shots!" the middle-aged man yelled. He picked up a bowl and SMASHED it over the owner’s head. Blood sprayed everywhere.

"AHHH!" Screams continued, followed by the sounds of things being thrown and people being hit. What had started as a minor incident slowly escalated into a full-blown brawl. A few other stall owners who couldn’t stand by idly tried to speak up, but a surge of people overwheld them. The entire night market plunged into chaos, with blood spraying everywhere.

Shangguan You and her companions watched the unfolding scene in shock. In just a minute, the situation had spiraled completely out of control. They hadn’t even had ti to intervene. It all happened too fast. Last night was just talk, but now it’s talk *and* action. These people are absolute brutes, violent thugs!

"Let the police handle it," Shangguan You said indifferently as Luo Tong was about to step forward. Director Fang furrowed his brows and nodded slightly. The incident has already escalated, and the police station is nearby. I want to see if things here are really as bad as in other places, and if this police departnt also has its share of... problematic individuals.

Shangguan You rolled her eyes. If other countries had problematic individuals even within their armies, a small police station would hardly be an exception. It was better to let them witness the severity of the situation firsthand and feel a sense of crisis.

Just as Shangguan You predicted, within fifteen minutes, sirens wailed loudly. A group of police officers rushed from their vehicles. They were montarily stunned by the bloody scene before them but quickly advanced.

"Everyone, drop your weapons! Squat down with your hands on your heads!" the officer in the lead commanded loudly. It was none other than Shangguan You’s old acquaintance, Ji Fan, in his police uniform.

"Fucking cops, think you’re so tough, huh? If you’ve got the balls, shoot ! I’m not afraid! Brothers, get ’em! Cops are human too, we’re not scared! Go on, shoot if you dare!" the man who had started the fight yelled, his eyes bloodshot. He then smashed another bowl onto soone’s forehead, sending blood flying.

"You son of a bitch! Who gave you the balls to be so damn arrogant? Stop right now, or I’ll blow your fucking head off!" one of the police officers shouted. He drew his gun, strode towards the man, and aid the muzzle at his head.

Another violent cop, quick to resort to force without a word.

"I’m not afraid of you! Shoot if you’ve got the guts!"

"Say that again, you motherfucker!"

"I’ll say it a hundred tis, and it’ll still be the sa!"

"Captain Liu, put your gun away!" Ji Fan quickly stepped forward, grabbing the pistol from Captain Liu’s hand. He had clearly seen Liu’s finger about to pull the trigger; if he fired, things would get even more complicated.

"Motherfucker, stay out of my business! Mind your own damn affairs and get the hell out of my way!" Captain Liu shoved Ji Fan aside and swung the butt of his gun towards the man’s head.

"AHHH! The police killed soone! They’re killing people!"

"AHHH! The police are killing people!"

As screams erupted, the situation plunged into chaos once more. The crowd, which had just been fighting amongst themselves, now turned their fists towards the police.

The brawl between the police and the civilians escalated further, with more people steadily joining in. Even so onlookers, who had just been watching the spectacle, were inexplicably struck and left bleeding. Naturally, they weren’t about to take that lying down, so they grabbed whatever they could and jumped into the fight, brawling confusedly.

"Everyone, calm down! Please, calm down! We’re here to solve the problem! Please cooperate with the police! We promise to give you a satisfactory resolution!" Ji Fan shouted, but his voice was completely drowned out by the crowd’s screams.

Ji Fan’s forehead was drenched in sweat. Why had things developed this way? He’d brought his n to resolve the issue, not to let it escalate and beco even more troubleso.

"Boss, what do we do?"

"Call the Chief. Have him co handle this personally." Ji Fan wiped the cold sweat from his forehead. Looking at all the blood on the ground, his heart pounded. These people are savages; even the police are no match for them. We might have to call in the army to suppress this.

Shangguan You watched with a cold smile as the chaos, sparked by just two individuals, now engulfed the entire street, with countless people brawling. Fortunately, they were a safe distance away, and their bodyguards forcefully repelled anyone who tried to approach them. Otherwise, would they still be unhard right now?

The expressions of the four important figures grew incredibly solemn. They had initially considered stepping in personally to handle the situation, but the arrival of the police made them abandon that idea. Shangguan You was right; there are indeed many duds in the police force these days. These officers are just as impulsive and bloodthirsty as those rioters.
