And outside the space, the Shangguan Family looked on excitedly as a hint of rosy color flowed over Shangguan You’s originally pale complexion on the hospital bed. They urgently called for the doctor.

Unfortunately, the result was still the sa; there were no signs of awakening.

Shangguan You had been in a coma for an entire month. Even Shangguan Zhi, once spirited and vigorous, now had his originally graying hair slowly turn white with worry.

"Girl, please wake up. If you don’t co back to us, what is your grandfather to do?" Shangguan Zhi looked at the lifeless Shangguan You on the bed, his old face full of the ravages of ti. As he gazed out at the pitch-black night outside the window, Shangguan Zhi’s heart grew even heavier.

A healer doesn’t heal themself? Is that really the case? With the girl’s acupuncture skills, if she weren’t ill, she could completely save herself. But now, she lies here, lifeless. Both dostic and foreign renowned doctors had tried but failed to awaken Shangguan You. Shangguan Zhi aged a decade in appearance, his heart filled with intense sorrow.

Shangguan Zhi took a deep look at Shangguan You. Then, his body sowhat shaky, he stood up to leave the hospital room.

"Dad, go back and rest. I will stay here with the girl," Liu Ruoling urged Shangguan Zhi to go ho, her originally supple face now showing signs of haggardness.

"No need," Shangguan Zhi said solemnly. "Shangguan Hao, go and handle the discharge procedures for the girl. Our girl shouldn’t be lying in this cold hospital. She shouldn’t be alone."

"But Dad," Shangguan Hao interjected, "the facilities at ho aren’t as well-equipped as the hospital’s."

"Elder, Miss Shangguan’s condition does not permit discharge," the hospital director said, wiping the sweat from his forehead upon hearing Shangguan Zhi’s words.

"An entire month has passed, and I’ve been listening to that sa sentence for a month! If she’s not discharged, should she just keep lying in the hospital day after day? If she’s not discharged, do you have a way to wake her up? Tell , do you have a way? If you have a way to wake her up right now, whatever you say, we will agree to. Do you have a way?" Shangguan Zhi shouted at the director, no longer able to maintain his composure.

"Elder," the director’s face turned pale, his lips quivering a few tis, but he could not provide any rationale. For a whole month, every thod had been tried, yet she had not awakened. If he had a way, he wouldn’t be in such distress.

"The girl is my granddaughter, Shangguan Zhi’s granddaughter! Even if she cannot wake up, she will be at ho. I cannot let her be alone in the cold hospital. Go handle the discharge procedures. We are leaving now! Girl, your grandfather is taking you ho." A tear escaped Shangguan Zhi’s eye and quickly slid to the floor.

"Dad, I understand. I’ll go right now. We’re taking the girl ho," Shangguan Hao nodded and turned to handle the discharge procedures.

"Dad, I’ll go pack up."

"Dad is right. You has slept for so long; she definitely doesn’t like it here. She prefers a warm ho."

"Grandpa, You doesn’t like the hospital. Let’s take her ho. Back at our house, everything will get better," Shangguan Qing nodded, his eyes feeling a bit gritty as he looked at the lifeless little face on the hospital bed, his heart heavy.

You, you must wake up soon. Seeing your family so worried about you, can you really bear to keep sleeping? Shangguan Qing thought.

"Yes, You, let’s go ho," Shangguan Zhi said. "Grandpa will take you ho. Your favorite grandpa, daddy, uncle, aunt, and your brother Qing will all be there with you. You won’t be alone." Shangguan Zhi nodded heavily, struggling to hold back the tears in his eyes, then turned around.

The mont he turned, the tears he had been holding back could no longer be contained and spilled from his eyes.

The autumn wind swept away the fallen leaves. Everything was desolate; bare tree trunks shivered in the wind, the weather grew colder, and the breath of winter drew nearer.

The entire Shangguan family was shrouded in a depressing atmosphere. In a second-floor room, Shangguan Hao held Shangguan You and gently placed her in her own room. He watched her originally pale little face, which was now growing rosier. She’s clearly in a deep sleep, but why are there still no signs of awakening?

Shangguan Hao sighed deeply. He carefully covered Shangguan You with a quilt and sat gently on the edge of the bed, his brows tightly furrowed, quietly watching her. For a whole month, Liu Ruoling and Nurse Zhang had massaged Shangguan You’s body every day to prevent her muscles from stiffening.

"Grandpa, Daddy, Uncle, why discharge You from the hospital?" Shangguan Qing, looking worn out, was sowhat puzzled as he looked at Shangguan Zhi. Shouldn’t You be receiving better treatnt in the hospital?

"It’s safer for her at ho than in the hospital," Shangguan Zhi said gravely. He then cast a deep glance at the figure on the bed and left desolately. He didn’t consider the implications of his words or the thoughts they might provoke in the others.

In the study, Shangguan Zhi once again shut himself in. He sat silently at the desk, as immobile as an old monk in deep ditation. Ti ticked by. The sounds of movent outside slowly quieted, and the entire Shangguan family fell into silence, everyone sinking into sleep. Suddenly, Shangguan Zhi, whose eyes had been closed, opened them. He shifted his hands on the desk, and the secret chamber within the study revealed itself once more.

Shangguan Zhi sighed deeply and, with heavy steps, walked towards the secret chamber. He traveled through the familiar secret passages with an anxious heart, his emotions complex.

"You have co." A hoarse voice rang out, and the figure of an old man sitting cross-legged appeared before Shangguan Zhi.

"Elder, I beg you to save the Shangguan Family’s only granddaughter, Shangguan You! Shangguan Zhi begs you!" Shangguan Zhi, his tall fra usually so upright, knelt heavily before the Elder. The sound of his knees hitting the stone floor echoed with a THUD. In the Elder’s presence, his tears were uncontrollable.

Where was Shangguan Zhi’s usual imposing aura now? At this mont, he was just a helpless grandfather, beseeching soone for help. The usually calm and steady Shangguan Zhi wept bitterly before the Elder, sobbing like a child. He cried out all the grievances and anguish in his heart. As the head of the family, the pillar of the Shangguan household, he always had to maintain his composure, no matter what happened. But who knew the bitterness and worry he carried within? He could never show such vulnerability to his family.
