Kaden sighed. He had hoped that this would be the end of it and he would have taken care of everything once and for all. He closed his eyes for a few seconds, letting out a wry chuckle. There he was, again thinking like a loser.

He was on the death bed and he sohow made it out alive. He had tricked a dragon that wanted to eat him alive and made it flee with barely a scrap of its health left. He had even gained so much in the process.

There was no need to throw a pity party now. He needed to get up and take another step forward. He needed to tally his gains and losses and see where to go from here.

"Fuck it." Kaden gave himself a ntal pep talk and stood up. The swirls of miasmic mist were making him slightly giddy. "I need to get the hell out of here." He almost started climbing when he realized he had forgotten sothing.

Kaden’s lips curled into a grin, his eyes gleaming with excitent as he took in the carnage around him for the second ti.

Bones of the Gloomfang Tiger, broken ribs as hard as steel, claws that glinted with a malevolent sheen, and shattered fangs dripping with residual death magic.

Chunks of dragon flesh, scales that shimred with a faint golden glow, remnants of the legendary beast that had nearly killed him. This was a treasure trove. A haul that could set him up for life—or at the very least, give him so power he desperately needed.

He gathered them all, his hands moving swiftly, his fingers curling around the shards of bone, the chunks of flesh, and the scales of crimson and gold. He bundled them all up together and then frowned. How was he supposed to take all of these with him?

Right at this mont, his stomach growled. He was hungry. He hadn’t eaten in a while, three whole days to be precise. His gaze darted to the dragon’s flesh. Why let perfectly good, legendary-quality at go to waste?

Kaden’s mouth watered as he stared at the dragon’s flesh, the crimson at shimring with a faint golden glow. This wasn’t just food; it was nourishnt of the highest caliber. "It’s ti for lunch," Kaden muttered, his lips curling into a smirk.

He was starving, exhausted, and still surrounded by swirling miasmic mist. He needed power. He needed energy. He needed this.

He moved quickly, his hands working swiftly as he gathered the largest chunk of dragon flesh, its surface shimring with a golden glow, its scent rich and potent, tinged with power.

His stomach growled again, louder this ti, his body trembling with hunger, his muscles aching with exhaustion. He didn’t care if it was raw. He had eaten raw at before to survive.

He sank his teeth into the at, his jaw clenching as the flesh tore easily, the taste exploding on his tongue, rich and savory, potent and powerful.

Kaden had stars shining in his eyes as he savored the divine taste. Of course, raw dragon’s at was going to be completely different from raw rodent’s at.

He was panting in a frenzy as he took another bite and then another and then another. His hunger was growing with every bite. It was intoxicating, exhilarating, addictive. He couldn’t stop. He didn’t want to stop. He was feeding on power itself, devouring strength, consuming life.

He was eating sothing that stood at the top of the food chain.

"Fuck, this is so good." For a mont he completely forgot about everything else as he continued to devour every chunk of flesh that was left on the battlefield.

As the last piece dissolved in his mouth like butter and nothing more was left, a sudden wave of heat surged through Kaden’s body. It started in his chest, a slow burn that quickly turned into a blazing inferno, spreading through his veins, igniting his muscles, vibrating through his bones.

A sudden, scorching wave of heat coursed through Kaden’s body. In that instant, his heart pounded like a war drum, each beat echoing the draconic might now pulsing in his veins. His vision blurred, and for a heartbeat, the world lted into sothing painfully bright.

And then clarity returned.

Kaden imdiately looked at himself to see what changed but nothing seed to be different. He then checked out the slew of notifications waiting for him.

[Ding! You have gained 1 Strength]

[Ding! You have gained 1 Mana]

[Ding! You have gained Agility]

Kaden was baffled. Eating beast at typically did not have advantages like this. But then again, he hadn’t eaten a normal beast at. He had eaten the flesh of a motherfucking dragon!

He swallowed and looked at how much he had gained in total.

It was a whopping 50 stats in total!
