Vanessa watched the limousine drive off until it disappeared through the gate.

She let out a small sigh and crossed her arms.

’At least he’s not hurt,’ she thought with relief.

According to what Alexia had said, he had a fight with Superior Man... even though he was all muscle, Vanessa still wondered how Lucius ca out of that one with just exhaustion.

But she knew this was her fault because she could guess what caused it.

It was probably because of the council party — the dance she refused with Superior Man, she might have.... shared multiple dances with Lucius later.

n like that didn’t handle rejection well, and seeing her with soone else would’ve made it worse.

"Well, that’s his problem," Vanessa muttered, brushing her hair back. "Let’s just get him inside."

Lucius was supposed to spend the day with her today.

She had taken another break from guild work and wanted soone calm to relax with... soone who wouldn’t spend every second trying to grab at her chest.

Lucius fit that role perfectly.

’I’m still worried about Luna,’ she thought as she carried Lucius inside. ’She’s been locked in that basent for days. What is she building this ti?’

She made a ntal note to check on her later.

For now, Lucius needed rest.

Vanessa adjusted her hold on him and kicked her door open.

Her personal room was large and warm, filled with furniture and decorations that didn’t match her tough image.

There were soft lights, shelves of books, and several cute cat plushies scattered on her bed.

She gently laid Lucius down.

His body bounced lightly against the mattress, then stopped. He was already snoring softly.

She stood over him and frowned a little.

"Why does he sll like that woman?" she muttered. She could literally sll that secretary’s scent on him...

Her expression twitched.

She didn’t want to admit it, but it bothered her.

She shook her head.

"Calm down. Don’t be childish," she told herself quietly. "You’re not jealous."

Her eyes went down to his chest... she had seen him shirtless many tis before and right now...

Her hands itched.

’Just one touch,’ she thought.

She climbed onto the bed and sat over him carefully, running her palms across his chest.

Every muscle felt like it was chiseled from stone.

She squeezed gently, feeling the tightness of his abs.

"Unbelievable," she whispered. "Did the goddess herself craft this guy?"

The touch made her aware of herself too.

Her hands paused, then dropped to her own stomach.

’Ugh... I’m getting flabby,’ she sighed inwardly. ’I guess I’m eating too much now without raids... No wonder my ass is getting fat.’

Just then, the sound of the door creaking open broke her thoughts.

Vanessa turned sharply and froze.

Standing in the doorway was Emilia.

Her younger sister’s eyes widened and then her lips turned into a mischievous grin.

"Oh... wow," Emilia said slowly, closing the door behind her. "This is... quite a scene, sis."

Vanessa’s face flushed red.

"It’s not what it looks like!" she said quickly, shifting as if to climb off Lucius.

Emilia raised a finger. "Uh-uh-uh," she teased. "Don’t move. You’ve been lecturing about not stealing Lucius’s clothes or trying to take his scent and now look at you. Sitting on top of him like a lovesick cat."

"I’m not—!" Vanessa started, but Emilia cut her off.

"Co on," Emilia said with a smirk. "Admit it. You like him too."

Vanessa opened her mouth, then closed it again.

Emilia’s grin widened. "Fine then. If you’re so innocent, prove it."

"How?" Vanessa asked warily.

"Kiss him," Emilia said, folding her arms. "He’s asleep. He won’t know."

Vanessa’s heart skipped. "That’s ridiculous."

"Oh, please," Emilia said, walking closer. "You want to. I can see it in your face. Just do it already."

Vanessa bit her lip.

She looked down at Lucius’s sleeping face which looked very peaceful.

His lips were slightly parted and his breathing was slow.

He looked... unfairly handso like that.

’This is so stupid,’ she thought but her body leaned forward anyway.

"Fine. Just once," she muttered.

Emilia grinned from ear to ear. "That’s my big sister."

Vanessa leaned down slowly, her long red hair brushing against his face.

She hesitated for only a second before pressing her lips softly against his.

Warmth spread instantly... that strange and soft sweetness.

His lips were warm and it felt intoxicating. She stayed like that for a few seconds, then tilted slightly, deepening the kiss.

Her heart raced.

’This taste...’ she thought. ’It’s just before.’

She pulled back slowly, trying not to make a sound, but her cheeks were already glowing red.

Emilia clapped her hands softly, grinning. "You’re blushing."

"I’m not!" Vanessa said, crossing her arms as if to defend herself.

"Yes, you are." Emilia sat down on the floor beside Lucius’s discarded clothes and started picking up his shirt.

She sniffed it subtly and sighed dreamily. "He even slls good."

"Emilia!" Vanessa hissed, her embarrassnt rising again.

Her sister chuckled. "What? You already stole a kiss. Let at least sll his shirt."

Vanessa covered her face with both hands.

’They’re both hopeless,’ he thought to himself, keeping his eyes shut.

He could use his spatial sense to watch the scene without moving a muscle, and what he saw made him want to laugh.

Vanessa was glaring at her sister, and Emilia was still teasing her, waving his shirt like a trophy.

’Perverted sisters,’ he thought with silent amusent.

Well it was alright to be a little perverted, he didn’t really mind it as long as they didn’t do anything over the top.

’Right Vanessa is too shy to do sothing like that.’ Lucius thought, if it was only Emilia then sure... but with Vanessa here, he doubted it, ’It’s really nice to feel her... Wait why are my trousers coming off?’

"Co on sis... don’t you want to see how big he is down there?" Emilia asked with a perverted grin as she drew on his trousers.

Vanessa didn’t stop... she too wanted to see it.
