Chapter 1428: Chapter 1413: Who Gave You This Courage

After Huo Sining erged from the cargo hold, she intended to head towards the passenger cabin to search for the crew mbers detained on the ship. Suddenly, a few gunshots caught her attention.

Huo Sining’s heart skipped a beat, and she hurriedly ran towards the deck. As soon as she arrived, she saw seven or eight people being held captive; they all looked like Huaxia people and seed to be the crew of this cargo ship.

These people were tied up with ropes on the deck, and were being brutally beaten by several mbers of the Country F Cruise Team.

One of the cruisers had a flushed face, seemingly drunk, and was pressing a gun barrel against the head of one of the crew mbers, babbling sothing incomprehensible.

The crew mber, with the gun pressed against his head, was speaking anxiously, but the cruiser was evidently dissatisfied with his answer; his face turned nacing as he directly unlocked the safety catch.

"Bang!"

Another piercing gunshot rang out, and the crew mber fell to the ground, his head exploding; he was killed instantly on the deck.

The first shot had been a re threat, but this one was real. Seeing their companion truly shot dead by the enemy, the crew mbers on the deck were terrified. They hadn’t expected that the cruisers would truly dare to open fire.

Watching their companion fall on the deck, eyes wide open in disbelief, lying in a pool of blood, the crew mbers’ faces turned pale with fear as they trembled like cicadas in the cold.

A veteran crew mber, appearing to be in his fifties, couldn’t help but protest as he witnessed the bloody scene unfold before him:

"What you’re doing is criminal. Our ship was passing through Huaxia Country’s waters, and you from Country F have unlawfully detained us, and now you’re openly killing. The International Mariti Convention Council will sanction you!"

"International Mariti Convention? Haha, what a joke!"

The leader of the cruise team evidently understood Chinese, and upon hearing the old crew mber’s words, burst out laughing. The next mont, the old crew mber was subjected to a beating by the cruise team leader, leaving him with a bloody head and convulsing all over.

After finishing the assault, the cruise team leader sneered coldly: "You Huaxia people are just worthless. You can’t even control your own territorial waters. The Dongyang people have taken Dong Sea islands from you, and you can’t muster any strength in Nan Sea either. So what if we occupy your waters? All the resources here belong to our Country F!"

Upon hearing these words, the old crew mber looked at the lifeless bodies of his colleagues, frozen in death, in agony, and confusion: "You’re deliberately provoking conflict, inciting a dispute between two countries. Aren’t you afraid of deteriorating relations between the two nations?"

With a dismissive look, the cruiser said: "So what? This isn’t the first ti we’ve detained a Huaxia Country ship, but what can your Huaxia Governnt do? Send a serious letter of condemnation and then let it slide?"

"If you want to bla soone, bla the young master of the Li Group who hired you this ti. That kid isn’t on the mark. We’ve told him—just pay us thirty million, and we’ll send you back unhard. But he clearly doesn’t care about you. It’s been nearly forty hours, and he still hasn’t paid up. If he’s so stingy, he can’t bla us for being ruthless!"

After saying this, the Country F cruise team leader turned his head and shouted to his subordinates:

"What are you waiting for? Do it! If Li Jun is waiting for the Huaxia Governnt’s help, let him wait slowly. We won’t keep these people around; throw them into the sea to feed the fish. Isn’t there cargo in the hold brought by that kid? I heard that this Jadeite stuff is quite valuable in Huaxia Country. Let’s contact A Tai and transfer it to him. That guy doesn’t fear trouble; he’ll definitely take all of it!"

Huo Sining heard the words of the cruise team leader, and anger surged within her.

She had always thought the most fearso on the sea were the pirates; she never expected that the Country F cruise team would be even more ruthless and cold-blooded. These crew mbers were killed on a whim, and their inhumane actions were bad enough. They dared to detain Huaxia ships in Huaxia waters and even openly disrespect the Huaxia Governnt, shooting unard crew mbers.

Although Huo Sining understood that what the Country F cruise team leader said was indeed true, Huaxia Country’s deeply rooted, moderate and benevolent nature seed like timidity and cowardice in the eyes of many enemy countries. This had beco their excuse for arrogance and misbehavior.

Under these circumstances, there was nothing Huaxia Country could do. On the vast ocean, the Huaxia Governnt couldn’t provide tily rescue to these crew mbers. Aside from stern condemnation and protesting to the Country F Governnt, there were no practical strategies available.

Country F could even outright deny it and shift the bla onto pirates, making them the scapegoat. After all, Huaxia Country wouldn’t have evidence and would have to swallow the loss.

If it weren’t for Huo Sining being on this ship right now, and if it weren’t for her exceptional skills, these crew mbers would probably face the grim fate of sinking to the sea’s bottom.

A group of Huaxia crew mbers, bound by rope, were being lifted by the cruisers to be thrown directly into the sea. But at this mont, there was a sudden, sharp scream, and the cruise team leader fell directly onto the deck, clutching his face and crying out: "Ah, my eyes, they hurt so much! Who did this?!"

The cruisers on the deck were shocked, watching helplessly as their leader rolled on the deck, curled up in a ball, crying in pain, everyone clueless about what had happened.

At this mont, a woman’s stern voice echoed through the air: "Who gave you the courage to disdain Huaxia’s might?"

Her voice was heard, but not her form; the cruisers on the deck were alard, each gripping their guns tightly: "Who, who’s there?!"

The cruisers remained on high alert, but suddenly there was another scream, and one of the companions began to convulse painfully on the deck, as if struck by an electric baton, uncontrollably trembling, soon losing consciousness.

"What’s happening? Quick, fire, hurry, shoot!"

Seeing this situation, the cruisers panicked, one with a drastic change in expression shouted to his companions to shoot. But everyone was dumbfounded, not knowing where to aim, firing a few random shots into the empty air, yet before they could react, soone suddenly disappeared from the deck, unknowingly thrown directly into the sea.

After subduing the last of the five or six cruisers, Huo Sining finally felt relieved. Binding up the cruisers with ropes, Huo Sining finally revealed herself.
