Chapter 1422: Chapter 1407: Unable to Keep the Business Running
The dream lingered, and Su Qingqing ntioned Gu Xu. In Huo Sining’s mind, the image of that Taoist in a white robe flashed involuntarily.
The Taoist in the dream looked exactly like Gu Xu. They say you dream of what you think about during the day. Could it be that she missed Gu Xu so much that it had beco an obsession?
The more Huo Sining thought about it, the more amusing she found it. After so consideration, she decided to call Gu Xu, but just when she picked up her phone, a call ca in.
The call was from a young girl in the design departnt of Guan Yu Beauty Studio. As soon as the connection was made, the girl anxiously shouted, "Miss Huo, please co to the studio quickly, sothing has happened, Mr. Bai has been attacked."
"What?"
Upon hearing this, Huo Sining imdiately put aside the call to Gu Xu, sprang up from the bed, got dressed, and dashed out.
Su Qingqing, of course, heard what the girl was saying in the call and had already driven the car out of the garage, taking Huo Sining towards Antique Street.
When they arrived at Guan Yu Beauty Studio, they indeed heard chaos inside. As soon as Huo Sining got out of the car, she rushed inside. Upon entering the upstairs workspace, she saw a middle-aged woman standing with arms akimbo, cursing like a fishwife:

Hearing this, Huo Sining imdiately frowned. Although she had never seen Bai Yishan’s sister-in-law, seeing this woman’s aggressive and abusive posture, she instantly identified this woman as most likely Bai Yishan’s fierce and greedy sister-in-law.
Beside Bai’s sister-in-law, there stood two stout won as well, who didn’t seem easy to deal with either, and the three of them together occupied a third of the not-so-large room.
Huo Sining glanced inside and saw several young girls in the design departnt looking frightened, faces tense and at a loss, apparently having never seen such a scene, they were scared out of their wits.
Looking further inside, she saw one of the design departnt girls holding so gauze, treating Bai Yishan’s wound. Bai Yishan was pressing a hand to a wound on her forehead, blood spatters on the back of her hand. It was unclear what had caused the injury, but the wound looked serious as it was still bleeding.
Originally, Huo Sining intended to first push through the three trouble-causing won to see how Bai Yishan was, but her foot hadn’t even stepped inside when she heard Bai Yishan’s sister-in-law making even more arrogant remarks:
"I’m telling you, Bai Yishan, don’t think you can wash your hands of this. Just because you’ve earned so money, do you really think your wings are fully fledged? If you really piss
off, I have many ways to make sure your store won’t ever operate again!"
Make the store unable to operate?!
Hearing this, Huo Sining couldn’t help but smirk angrily. She had seen many people who were oblivious to their limitations, like Liang Ruicheng, who also wanted to bring down her Jubao Pavilion but only dared to play tricks behind the scenes. She had never seen anyone who dared to declare right in front of her that they would close down her store.
Especially since Bai’s sister-in-law said it with such assuredness, this brought out the temper in Huo Sining. She stood at the doorway, looking at the woman sarcastically, and raised her voice:
"Oh really? Then I’m all ears to hear how you intend to make this store unable to operate!"
Upon hearing Huo Sining’s voice, Bai’s sister-in-law and her two companions imdiately looked up towards the entrance where Huo Sining and Su Qingqing were standing.
The young girls in the room also looked over. When they saw Huo Sining arrive, the faces which were earlier filled with panic now started to calm, each girl’s face lighting up, as if they had seen their pillar of strength.
"Miss Huo, thank goodness you’re here. Mr. Bai is injured, please see what can be done, these three won have been here cursing, and we’re all scared stiff."
One of the young girls hurriedly ca forward, a sob tingeing her voice.
Huo Sining nodded and didn’t even look at the three Bai won, directly scolding: "What’s the use of crying? How else do you handle a situation like this but call the police? You girls can’t handle it, have you not thought of asking the police?"
With that, Huo Sining pulled out her phone to call, but on the other side, Bai’s sister-in-law’s face changed drastically upon hearing that they were going to call the police, and she imdiately rushed over, attempting to snatch the phone from Huo Sining.
There’s no way Huo Sining would let her succeed. She deftly sidestepped the attempt, while Su Qingqing, behind her, quickly stepped in. Seeing Bai’s sister-in-law rush over, she reached out, grasped Bai’s sister-in-law’s wrist, turned it, and restrained her, leaving her unable to move.
The other two middle-aged won, seeing this, attempted to rush in to help. Seeing this, Huo Sining couldn’t help but laugh:
"You two look like outsiders. I advise you to keep clear and not muddy these waters, ending up with nothing while landing yourself in a cell. After all, breaking into soone else’s company to commit violence isn’t sothing a few words can explain away!"
Hearing Huo Sining’s words, the two middle-aged won paused, eyeing each other hesitantly.
Seeing their allies intimidated by Huo Sining with just a few words, Bai’s sister-in-law grew both angry and annoyed, shouting:
"Are you two idiots? You actually believe what that little girl says? With

Swayed, the two middle-aged won began to move again.
After all, Bai’s sister-in-law had promised them benefits if they helped, like sharing the money they extorted from Bai Yishan. If Bai’s sister-in-law were subdued, they’d get nothing.

Su Qingqing was unafraid of flaunting, pushing Bai’s sister-in-law away, she reached into Huo Sining’s bag and pulled out a blue book embossed with a seal, holding it up in front of the three middle-aged won.
