Gu Xu burst into laughter upon hearing Old Madam Liang’s words. He knew exactly what the old lady valued most, otherwise she wouldn’t have forced Huo Sining’s grandmother out of the house with nothing but her child years ago. An Hongi wasn’t stupid; she knew that with Huo Sining’s current standing and assets, far more substantial than the Liang family’s, and with the backing of the Gu Family, the woman would only have more wealth than the Liang family, not less. Would Huo Sining even care about the Liang family’s bit of inheritance?

Gu Xu couldn’t be bothered to deal with such annoying types. Seeing that Old Madam Liang was still making a fuss, he simply took out his phone and impolitely said:

Old Madam Liang still wanted to scream so more, but upon hearing Gu Xu’s threatening words, she showed a horrified expression. An Hongi’s face also turned grim imdiately.
The two won’s blunder of looking for Gu Xu to make impossible demands backfired, leaving them exposed.
Both knew Gu Xu’s background and could tell from his expression that he wasn’t joking.
This man could indeed make a call that could spell disaster, and if they kept causing trouble, they’d ruin everything.
Realizing this possibility, both won shuddered, and no longer made a fuss, standing straighter, at a loss.
Gu Xu impatiently waved them off, directly instructing the security to escort them out.
To deal with such shaless people, one must seize their critical weaknesses. Otherwise, they might actually believe there’s no way to handle them, doing any disgusting thing they wish.
Old Madam Liang and An Hongi entered Sheng Tang Headquarters with bravado, but were escorted out by security when they left. They were tossed out at the company gate, looking disheveled and embarrassed, akin to beggars being driven away.

The person was Manager Lu, Lu Huairu from Yin Yizhai. This area was already Qingjiang District, far from Huangjiang District. What was this old gentleman doing in this area?
She watched Manager Lu stopping a little monk in a yellow robe. They exchanged words that she couldn’t hear, and then the little monk made a gesture, bowing and pointing toward an alley before Manager Lu turned and headed down the alley.
Finding it odd, Huo Sining, who generally didn’t ddle in others’ affairs, oddly veered her car to the street corner, parked, locked the car, and then quietly followed Manager Lu into the alley with Qibao.
