Chapter 344: Chapter 344: The True Academic Master Zhuang Lan Chapter 344: Chapter 344: The True Academic Master Zhuang Lan Hearing Yue Qingqing’s words, Jun Feifei tried desperately to recall.

But as a sixth-grader, it was very difficult for Jun Feifei to rember what had happened a few days ago.

She couldn’t recall when the first curse had worked.

Had she encountered any strange people before? Jun Feifei could indeed think of many.

The janitor she had seen at her father’s company.

The old lady on the street collecting glass bottles and cans.

The gardener at her ho who often liked to shirk work on the lawn and was driven away by Jun Feifei after she caught him.

Jun Feifei thought of many people, each one suspicious.

The more she let her imagination run wild, the more her head felt like a tangled ss, especially with a burning forehead; she dared not speak.

Yue Qingqing could only comfort the unlucky child, “We should be careful with our words in the future; it probably won’t have much impact, and I will help you find this person later on.”

Jun Feifei felt as if she’d been granted amnesty and no longer needed to wrack her brain.

After a few more words of comfort, Yue Qingqing took Jun Feifei back ho.

In the villa complex, they happened to run into Zhuang Lan, who was out walking his dog.

He glanced at the two classmates, “Why are you just getting ho now?”

Then he looked specifically at Jun Feifei, “Are you not going to hand in your howork again tomorrow? If this keeps up, I’ll have to tell Aunt Lan.”

As a class committee mber, Zhuang Lan was very responsible.

As a childhood friend, though, he just made Jun Feifei pout and nearly start crying again.

Jun Feifei was unable to talk, so Yue Qingqing had to smooth things over.

“Feifei’s feeling a bit unwell, which is why we’re late. I’m going to take her ho now.”

Seeing that Jun Feifei indeed looked weak, Zhuang Lan also felt sothing was off.

“Do you have a cold? We have dicine at ho.”

Jun Feifei shook her head, lacking the energy to engage any further with her little crush, gripping Yue Qingqing’s hand as they walked towards her house.

Watching the girls’ retreating figures, Zhuang Lan felt sothing was amiss but couldn’t quite pinpoint it.

Never mind, girls are always so odd. Rather than trying to figure out what they’re thinking, I’d be better off focusing on studying.

As a top student, Zhuang Lan had been outranked by Yue Qingqing for several consecutive years, begrudgingly settling for second place, and he was holding back a sense of frustration.

With these thoughts in mind, he didn’t pay attention to the little Poranian at his feet, wagging its tail and looking up eagerly as he pulled the leash and headed ho.

“Woof, woof!”

The little Poranian howled mournfully as it was pulled into the house, barking at the two adults inside, complaining about its unreliable young owner.

Zhuang Yuebin put down his newspaper and asked hurriedly, “You just went out five minutes ago, why are you back already?”

As Zhuang Lan changed his shoes, he emphasized, “I have to get back to studying; the citywide exams are just a few months away.”

Zhuang Yuebin didn’t take it seriously, saying the exams were just for moving from elentary to middle school, and with his son’s grades, he didn’t have to be so diligent.

Normally, parents would be the ones urging their children to study, but it was the opposite in their house.

The two adults urged their son every day not to holed up in his room studying and to go outside for so fresh air instead.

But Zhuang Lan never slacked off and didn’t see anything special about the air outside.

Li Xiaoqin washed so grapes and placed them in a fruit bowl, “Stop studying for a bit and co eat so grapes. I just bought them from the departnt store downstairs, they’re really sweet.”

Zhuang Lan looked at his mother, reluctantly sitting on the sofa.

The little Poranian followed and sat at its young owner’s feet, watching the grapes with anticipation.

Li Xiaoqin peeled a grape for her son.

“Your birthday is coming up soon; we’re planning a birthday party for you at ho. Your aunt will co with her kids too, and I thought you could invite your classmates over for so fun?”

Zhuang Lan was uninterested, “There’s no need, I’ve been…”

Before he could finish, a grape was popped into his mouth.

“Enough about studying, you’re still so young, yet always looking so bookish. Kids your age should be out playing and broadening their horizons. Your aunt often takes her boy and girl twins abroad; they are younger than you but can speak fluent English already,” she said.

“Oh,” Zhuang Lan swallowed the grape, showing little interest.

But the ntion of his aunt sent his thoughts wandering far away…
