With her mother and relatives around, it wouldn't be just a child like her working herself to death to make money.

Yet, she never expected so relatives to be worse than wolves, even though they share the sa blood, they wish to peel her and her mother to the bone, draining the last drop of marrow.

These are things Lu Zhu is unwilling to tell others.

She isn't the type to show her bloody wounds in front of others, in order to gain so benefit for herself.

In the end, she rely nodded silently, agreed to her teacher to cut off the 'business', and then left under the other's reassured gaze.

This was Lu Zhu's first lesson—

To be wary of a competitor's tactics.

Every ti she passed by the small shop afterward, Lu Zhu would hum in her heart.

Sohow, her mother found out about this, and one day timidly asked Lu Zhu.

"Actually, I can go out to work, I asked around, there's a restaurant hiring a dishwasher, as long as they give a chair, I can do the work."

Lu Zhu frowned, staring at Zhan Zhenfang.

Zhan Zhenfang was actually a very beautiful woman, otherwise her mother's family wouldn't have considered her, planning to abandon Lu Zhu and marry her off again to get so bride price back.

Such a physically inconvenient yet charming woman was like a piece of fat at, especially with her character...

"Can you guarantee your safety going to and from work every day? There are no street lights here, and the police rarely co, if soone tries to bully you, will anyone save you?"

"How do you know they'll pay you on ti, will they sign a contract with you? If they don't pay you, who will you go to? Are they afraid of a woman with no background and limited mobility?"

"Why are you still so naive, believing whatever people say? Who told you about this job, I don't believe you found it yourself, have you considered what dangers might arise?"

Zhan Zhenfang was stunned by Lu Zhu's barrage of questions, although she was Lu Zhu's mother, it has always been the smart and precocious Lu Zhu taking care of her.

Zhan Zhenfang was left speechless, tears swirling in her eyes, her voice turning tremulous.

"Yes, I'm sorry, it's my fault, I shouldn't have made decisions on my own, I'll just stay ho, I won't go anywhere."

Lu Zhu regretted it ever since her mother spoke.

But the more she bowed to life over the years, the more she developed a tough backbone, and the words of apology just wouldn't co out.

In the end, she could only bite her tongue, saying.

"I can earn money, I can support us, don't worry."

Zhan Zhenfang lowered her head, trying hard to make her voice sound like a laugh.

"I know, Xiaozhu is the most capable and smartest child in the world, it's my uselessness."

The bitterness rose from her throat to her tongue, Lu Zhu clenched her teeth, "Don't say such things."

"I'm sorry."

Zhan Zhenfang apologized out of habit, Lu Zhu closed her eyes, biting the flesh in her cheek.

She had to make money, find a way to earn more money.

Although all the teachers at school regarded Lu Zhu as a genius, Lu Zhu knew that learning was not just about talent, she had to seize every spare mont outside of class to read.

This also ant she couldn't take on ti-consuming jobs.

Lu Zhu quickly picked up her earliest money-making skill, helping classmates with howork.

This also allowed Lu Zhu to repeatedly review her knowledge, and to avoid being discovered, Lu Zhu could imitate many people's handwriting.

At the sa ti, she could solve problems in different ways.

With this cleverness, even the teacher, who prided themselves on knowing the classmates well, didn't discover it.

In school, students usually admire those with good grades.

But Lu Zhu was an exception.

Due to the employnt relationship, a few classmates with ample pocket money showed disdain towards Lu Zhu, so even threw their howork on her desk while sneering.

"What's the use of good grades, the money my parents leave in the future is sothing so people could never earn in a lifeti."

Lu Zhu turned a deaf ear to these words, with no emotional waves inside, even wanting to scoff.

She had long known how hard it was to earn money, so she never brought personal emotions into money-making.

Later, Lu Zhu realized that simply doing howork was labor-intensive, so she devised other ways to earn money.

For example, taking only three assignnts a day, making those in the grade who wanted her to do their howork bid against each other.

The highest bidder won.

Those rich kids had long been used to the days of doing nothing with their hands in their pockets, how could they accept Lu Zhu saying no when she offered good value?

They could only keep raising the stakes, in the end, Lu Zhu worked fewer hours, but earned several tis more money.
