Seeing the old man standing outside, Yue Qingqing suddenly stopped in her tracks.
The word "Master" almost slipped out, but she swallowed it back forcefully.
The old man outside looked exactly the sa as before, still sporting a big beard, always with a smiling face.
But his attire was vastly different.
A leather jacket exuding an air of wanting to be flirtatious despite old age, with a pair of flip-top sunglasses hanging on his head, holding a phone in his right hand and typing away, looking even more proficient than Yue Qingqing.
Yue Qingqing was montarily at a loss, not knowing whether to laugh or cry.
"What's wrong?" Jiang Jingze asked, following Yue Qingqing's gaze, his face turning dark imdiately, "Old charlatan?"
"What?"
Yue Qingqing had heard Aze ntion soone called a charlatan visited his ho, completely srized his father, convincing him beyond belief.
He even said he lacked fire in his fate and was tricked into working in the kitchen, flipping pans since childhood.
The calluses Jiang Jingze developed at the beginning of his culinary learning were all thanks to this old man.
Of course, after eting Yue Qingqing and experiencing many mystical events, Jiang Jingze sotis wondered in his mind if the old man really had so abilities.
But unexpectedly, seeing him again after so many years, he still felt the man was full of deceit.
Not the slightest aura of an accomplished guru, instead, he looked like an unprofessional old fraud.
Yet, his girlfriend had already dashed over eagerly.
It was almost like bumping into an acquaintance.
Jiang Jingze had no choice but to follow imdiately.
As Yue Qingqing got closer, she finally couldn't help but call out "Master."
The old man squinted his eyes and, in a familiar manner, suggested,
"Co, Master will take you to eat candied haws."
Jiang Jingze, who had just approached, couldn't help but ask upon hearing this, "Qingqing, you know him?"
Before Yue Qingqing could answer, the old man already turned to him with an "Oh."
"You, boy, are here too."
Jiang Jingze squinted his eyes, "You still recognize ?"
Considering he was young when they t before, Jiang Jingze didn't expect him to recognize him after all these years.
"Of course." The old man waved his hand, "Co on, let's find a restaurant first."
"Our little Qingqing must be hungry, right."
Seeing Yue Qingqing practically bouncing along behind the old man, Jiang Jingze felt a question mark slowly appearing on his forehead.
But he could only follow them out of the airport.
This ti Yue Qingqing had inford her family in advance, to wait in Zhuancheng.
Thankfully, as it would have been hard to explain otherwise.
Since the flight back to Zhuancheng wasn't departing until the afternoon, Yue Qingqing followed her master to a restaurant near the airport.
The prices here were at least three tis higher than outside, the old man handed the nu to Jiang Jingze.
"You're paying."
Jiang Jingze: "..."
See, how could anyone not think this person is a fraud?
Yue Qingqing, long used to her master's ways, couldn't help but giggle, introducing him to Jiang Jingze.
"This is my official master, sa as a few senior brothers."
Saying this, Jiang Jingze could understand a bit, but looking at the old charlatan's appearance, he still wasn't pleased.
He ordered several dishes that Qingqing liked.
The old man beside him only glanced at Jiang Jingze, "You want to tear down the bridge after crossing it, huh? If I hadn't pointed you towards the restaurant, would you have t Qingqing?"
Hearing this, Jiang Jingze was thoughtful, his expression softened a bit.
"Thank you."
Now it was Yue Qingqing's turn to be puzzled.
"Master?"
The old man chuckled, pointing at Jiang Jingze.
"Don't ask , I'm a victim too, I reckon you've always wanted to know how you ca here, right? Speaking of which, it's all this kid's fault, in a previous life he poked a hole in the sky with a sword."
