Before leaving, Lin Jianping specifically called over the children of the Yue Family.
Everyone gathered to have a al and say goodbye.
Yue Xingxing and Yue Qingqing often t on weekends, but Yue Xiaohu rarely had the chance to co out.
He attended a military school and was under military managent.
He only had a half-day off each month.
As a boy, he couldn’t even rember to et his sisters at tis, using most of his free ti at internet cafes.
Being cooped up most of the ti, exhausted like a dog from daily training, he couldn’t help but seize the chance to play when he had it.
Thus, even though it’s almost winter break in Beijing, Yue Xiaohu was eting his two sisters for the first ti.
"Whoa, whose handso guy is this? Almost didn’t recognize him."
As soon as Yue Xingxing ca in, she stared at Yue Xiaohu, who had noticeably shot up a few inches in the past few months.
Even after taking off his coat, his thin sweater couldn’t hide the shape of his muscles.
Yet upon seeing his family, his face still held that familiar goofy smile.
"Hehe, not too bad, I haven’t been looking in the mirror much lately. Did I really get more handso?"
"Pah, you really think I was complinting you? I an why don’t you ever co to see and Sister Qingqing? Sotis you don’t even call for a month! Is your skin itching for a beating?"
Yue Xingxing rushed over as she spoke, habitually trying to tug at his ear. But she found this guy had grown a lot taller, even upon tip-toes it didn’t feel right.
It was Yue Qingqing who walked over, pulled a chair, and pressed Yue Xiaohu down onto it.
Allowing Yue Xingxing to execute her plan.
"Ouch, okay, my bad, talk about a rare holiday; I just thought about playing more, and I promise I’ll call next ti, ow ow ow—"
Yue Xiaohu made a miserable face, as boys his age weren’t inclined to miss family or relatives.
Mostly, aside from playing gas, it was about chasing girls.
Yet the school lacked female students, and many guys had started the ’self-sufficient’ route.
Although Yue Xiaohu didn’t follow suit, he also hadn’t found the right one, dood to endure no romance.
He could only channel his pent-up energy into gaming.
He couldn’t help but quietly complain, "Sister Qingqing, why are you also helping them clean up? I thought we were in cahoots."
Yue Qingqing couldn’t resist laughing, "You and I are not in cahoots; now spill, what have you been up to lately? Are you dating soone, not introducing them to us?"
Yue Xiaohu widened his eyes, a look of innocence, as if wrongly accused.
"Date anyone? Where would I get a girlfriend? This week, the first ti I spoke with girls was with you guys; yesterday at the canteen, eating ’Tiger Skin Chicken Feet,’ I was silently weeping. That was my first ti since the sester began holding a female hand, even if it was cross-species."
The two sisters were amused by Yue Xiaohu’s sad plight, laughing heartily.
"When did you beco so glib? Who taught you?"
"Oh, a bunch of guys with nothing to do, just looking for fun in conversation."
Despite his unwavering ambition to beco a soldier, Yue Xiaohu was also quite dissatisfied with the school’s scarcity of females.
"By the way, didn’t grandma say she found uncle-grandfather? Where is he?"
Yue Xiaohu and Yue Xingxing hadn’t t Lin Jianping yet, and both were pretty curious.
Yue Qingqing had just gotten off the phone with grandma.
"He’s on his way, should be here soon."
"Oh oh, I heard uncle-grandfather just recovered; it wasn’t easy, finally eting after so long," Yue Xingxing beca quite sentintal about this sort of thing, "If I were to be separated from Xiaohu..."
Yue Xingxing paused and sighed, glancing at Yue Xiaohu.
Yue Xiaohu was absorbed in his phone. Feeling her gaze, he looked up and grinned, "Hehe, Sis, have you subscribed to those joke texts? They’re hilarious, check out this joke."
Yue Xingxing: "..."
Oh well, this one without a care probably wouldn’t mind much.
Might even be relieved not to have anyone watching over him.
