Princess Huimin’s eyes lifted slightly. She had heard of this matter indeed, but had never paid much attention to a commoner female doctor.
Her gaze shifted to Lady Jhiang beside her and asked, “Did you bring this female doctor here?”
“Replying to Your Highness, indeed I did,” Lady Jhiang stepped forward and replied.
She had not expected the matter to escalate like this. She had planned to introduce Doctor Shao to Princess Huimin after the banquet ended. Successful treatnt or not, there was still a glimr of hope. Luo Jiner’s lips curled into a mocking smile as she watched Shao He. She was set on elevating her to the highest rung only to watch her fall hard!
She looked at Shao He with provocation, malice flashing in her eyes. She thought to herself, this despicable wretch will get what’s coming to her soon enough!
“Silence, We did not ask you!” Princess Huimin was irritated. With narrowed eyes, she fixed her stare on Luo Jiner. If not for the sake of Marquis Pingnan’s Mansion’s reputation, she would have had her thrown out.
Feeling the chill in Princess Huimin’s gaze, Luo Jiner’s forehead broke out in a cold sweat, and she dared not speak further.

After a while, she spoke, “You are not the first to speak such words before . Do you know the consequences of deceiving ?”
“I am aware,” Shao He answered softly.
Princess Huimin didn’t expect such certainty from her and felt a flicker of emotion. She said sternly, “Should you fail to heal the disease on My face, you will be punished!”
“If I fail to heal it, I am willing to accept the punishnt,” Shao He answered resolutely.
