Mo Chenran looked at the silent figure and knew that he must be harbouring many doubts, but he simply smiled and said, "I an no harm, rely paying a visit and hoping to borrow your Crown Princess Consort briefly."

Pei Huaian realized that this man was not here for him.

"You dare!"

Pei Huaian reached out to grab the man before him, but Mo Chenran, prepared in advance, lightly tapped his foot and leaped up, landing on the roof of the dilapidated temple.

"Your Highness Crown Prince, rest assured, your Crown Princess Consort will be returned to you unhard before the grand wedding."

Having said that, he made a graceful turn and left.

Pei Huaian rembered what Shao He had said and ran back quickly, hoping it was still in ti.

Elsewhere, Shao He had just entered the woods when she sensed sothing was amiss, as did Ah Mo.

"Doctor Shao, it seems we’re ambushed."

Ah Mo lowered his voice, watching the surrounding cautiously.

Shao He nodded; she felt the murderous aura and knew that a direct confrontation would not turn out well.

Understanding their situation, they exchanged glances and quickly moved deeper into the thicket.

The people in hiding no longer concealed themselves. They jumped down, blocking their path.

Shao He lifted her head to see three unfamiliar faces. She frowned and coldly asked, "Who are you?"

One of the n stepped forward, glanced at Shao He and Ah Mo, then fixed his gaze on Shao He and coldly said, "We are ordered to invite the lady for a visit."

"Impossible." Ah Mo directly positioned himself in front of Shao He, eyeing the group before him vigilantly.

"In that case, forgive our rudeness."

With that, the three n in black moved simultaneously, their swords flashing, encircling Ah Mo and Shao He.

Seeing this, Ah Mo did not retreat but advanced, drawing his long sword and clashing fiercely with the n in black.

Although Shao He’s martial arts skills were limited, she knew enough for self-defense and had practiced diligently these days, barely managing to fend off a few moves.

But her stamina was rapidly draining, and soon fatigue began to show.

Seeing Shao He gradually losing, Ah Mo gritted his teeth, desperately buying ti.

Suddenly, a cold wind swept through, carrying a burst of smoke.

As the smoke cleared, Shao He and Ah Mo could finally see that the newcor was a handso young man.

He held one hand behind his back while the other was holding a fan, wafting it gently.

"Crown Princess Consort, there is no need for resisting. I an you no harm and never thought to hurt you; I rely wish to ask the Crown Princess Consort for assistance in a dical matter."

"So it is, your approach in asking for help involves abduction. If I refuse to go, what then?" Shao He could not discern who this unfamiliar man was.

But judging by his attire and deanor, he was no commoner. Since he dared to kidnap the Crown Princess Consort, he surely was not from this country.

Mo Chenran smiled faintly, "Should it co to that, I would only regret my discourtesy."

"Doctor Shao, do not go with him; the master will co to rescue you soon," Ah Mo begged, fearing she might be swayed by this man’s persuasion.

Their wedding was imminent, and the master had long anticipated this grand wedding, placing great emphasis on it.

If there were no bride at the wedding, the master would beco the laughingstock of the Capital City, and he would undoubtedly not withstand such an outco.

"I’m afraid the Crown Prince might need more ti to arrive. Crown Princess Consort should consider well to prevent innocent people from dying for you," Mo Chenran’s tone lifted slightly.

Shao He was sowhat moved, knowing they could not overco the four n, and from the fight just now, she had indeed realized these n in black truly had no intention to harm them.

Seeing her hesitate, Ah Mo urgently exclaid, "Doctor Shao, do not listen to his lies, in case he..."

He wanted to dissuade her but sadly, before he could finish, a stone struck him, rendering him speechless and immobile.

Mo Chenran nodded approvingly, "It’s much quieter now; Crown Princess Consort, you can consider the matter at your leisure."

"I agree to go with you."

Mo Chenran’s lips curved into a faint smile, "The Crown Princess Consort is indeed wise."

Mo Chenran folded his fan, making a gesture of invitation.

Shao He pursed her lips, looked at him for a long ti, and then slowly followed him away.

Ah Mo could only watch helplessly as they left, until Pei Huaian arrived and released his pressure points.

"Master, Doctor Shao has been abducted."

"I know," Pei Huaian responded coolly.

This reaction surprised Ah Mo, who had expected the master to be furious. How could he be so composed?

"Master, shall we pursue?" Ah Mo asked tentatively.

"There’s no need; let’s go back,"

"Yes." Although Ah Mo was puzzled, he believed the master had his reasons.

Pei Huaian, accompanied by Ah Mo, returned to the estate. As they approached the carriage, they saw Yun Qian waiting outside.

Relieved to see Pei Huaian safe, but puzzled to see him alone, he asked, "Where’s Shao He? Didn’t she co back with you?"

"She has gone to the palace."

Pei Huaian answered without hesitation.

Ah Mo’s eyes widened in surprise, his master’s lying becoming more fluent.

Yun Qian, knowing The Emperor was unwell, did not think too deeply about it.

"As long as you’re safe, that’s what matters."

Pei Huaian nodded slightly, "Would you like to co in and sit?"

"No need, there are patients in Anji Hall. I must take my leave," Yun Qian turned and left.
