Chapter 508: Chapter 510: Insisting on Opposing
Amur was forced to retreat by the Clan Leader, clumsily falling to sit on the ground.
“You… your body has recovered,”
The Clan Leader snorted coldly, “Enough nonsense, it’s ti to end this.”
Amur’s expression darkened, “If you want to kill , then we’ll see if you’re qualified.”
With those words, he took out the Gu Poison he had prepared in advance and sprinkled it towards the Clan Leader, who quickly held his breath to shield himself.
“I’m well aware of your sinister moves, how could I not be prepared?”
“I never expected you to have researched the Detoxification Pill in advance, what a miscalculation,” said Amur coldly, he had not anticipated that the Clan Leader would have already taken the Gu Poison Antidote Pill.
“Against you, naturally, I have to be more cautious.”
Amur’s face turned ashen, he never imagined that his carefully planned sche would fall through at the last mont.
He let out a bitter laugh and shook his head, then the corners of his mouth curled up into a vicious smile.
“Do you think this is my defeat?”
The Clan Leader narrowed his eyes, “What do you an?”
Suddenly, he felt a bit dizzy, his consciousness growing hazy. Realizing sothing was terribly wrong, he imdiately channeled his Spiritual Power to suppress the Gu insect within his body, but it was too late.
Amur sneered, “You’ve been struck by the Snake Gu, which will slowly devour your Inner Strength and turn you into a cripple!”
The Clan Leader’s complexion changed slightly, “Such evil sorcery is taboo. How dare you peruse the ancient tos in secret?”
Amur laughed heartily, his laughter filled with desolation, “What of taboos? Only your ancient clans regard it as evil sorcery. In reality, it is extrely useful.”
“Do you know how many years I’ve spent using the Blood Devouring Gu to control others and then using such secret techniques to cultivate a batch of new Gu People?”
At this, Amur’s expression twisted malevolently as he spoke sharply, “I’ve spent several years cultivating so many fine Gu insects, and due to your stupidity, it nearly all went to ruin!”
“Don’t worry, I will take good care of these clansn for you. Clan Leader, may you have a safe journey!” Amur said, bowing deeply to him.
The Clan Leader’s face suddenly turned deathly pale, he quickly sealed his Inner Strength and hastily took a dicine pill, but Amur took the opportunity to strike him with a palm.
“Take her and go.”
After Pei Huaian said this to Shao He, he rushed to the Clan Leader’s side, grabbed the man, and dodged the blow.
“It’s you again, ruining my plans. This ti I will not let you go!” Amur was sowhat irritated.
As he saw the hurriedly fleeing figures, Amur tapped the ground with the tip of his foot, flying in front of Shao He and reaching out to grab her, the woman standing in front of Shao He.
Amur gripped the woman’s neck tightly, his eyes filled with anger as he said, “Why must you always oppose ?”
“Bah, you are a villain. You have killed so many people, you should… ah, cough cough…” The woman’s eyes bulged, and a choking sound ca from her throat.
Amur suddenly tightened his grip, and the woman began struggling even more violently. Already injured and not fully recovered, her throat grew even more pained, and she was nearly unable to breathe.
She looked at the man who was so close, his handso features now filled with malice, resembling the ferocity of the most savage beast ready to tear apart its prey.
“Why can’t you be a bit more obedient,” said Amur, as he increased the pressure in his hand.
Shao He took out a silver needle and struck his acupoint, causing Amur to loosen his grip in pain. The woman collapsed weakly into Shao He’s arms, desperately gasping for breath.
Amur raised his eyes to look at Shao He, glaring at her coldly, “You’re seeking death.”
Having said this, he rushed at Shao He.
Shao He supported the woman as they backed away, while Amur attacked them again.
At the critical mont, the Clan Leader and Pei Huaian intervened, one grabbing Shao He, another the woman, and they evaded the attack. The Second Elder and Third Elder took the opportunity to break free from the guards’ control, leaping onto the sacrificial platform.
“So, it was all your doing.” The Second Elder looked at the self-righteously indignant man and said angrily.
Amur was unfazed, offering a faint smile, “You fools, what future is there in hiding here with him? Better to follow and fight for our freedom.”
“Our clan’s rules forbid us from participating in any power struggles. Why are you so obsessively misguided?” sighed the Third Elder, feeling helpless.
“Then await your death,” Amur turned to look at the Clan Leader, his gaze chilling and frightful, like Satan from the Nine Serenities Hell.
The Clan Leader furrowed his brows; Amur had shown a penchant for scheming since childhood but possessed great talent and ambition, which is why he highly valued him.
Who could have predicted that he would do such a thing.
“You two, quickly pull him aside. We join forces to stop him; we mustn’t let him destroy this place,” the Clan Leader said gravely.
Upon hearing this, the Second Elder and Third Elder quickly stepped forward, surrounding Amur.
Seeing this, Amur revealed a bloodthirsty sneer, “Since none of you wish to submit to , then I will simply have to destroy this place!”
With those words, his wrist flicked, and his palm gathered a powerful force which he then hurled at the others.
“Dodge!” Pei Huaian exclaid.
The group hurriedly dodged away as Amur laughed heartily to the sky, “You can’t stop ! Haha! Nobody can stop !”
He then began to stimulate the Gu insects within his body, and the onlookers saw streaks of purplish-black veins appear on his face.
“What is he…”
“Using his body as a vessel to nurture the Gu King, allowing him to control other Gu insects, one of the most formidable among the Evil Gu,” the Clan Leader incredulously revealed.
It had to be admitted that Amur was indeed very powerful, a pity that his abilities were not put to good use.
