Chapter 374: Chapter 375: Apologizing to You

Shao He perford the surgery without letting Lady Jiang inside, no matter how much she insisted, he wouldn’t allow anyone to enter.

Lady Jiang, faced with such resoluteness, ultimately had to agree but warned, “She is our master’s most beloved concubine. If anything goes wrong, the entire Jiang Family will not spare you!”

“Lady Jiang, rest assured; it’s just a minor surgery. I am not about to ruin my reputation over it,” Shao He replied with a light smile.

After hearing this, Lady Jiang said no more and turned to sit silently in a chair, waiting.

Shao He entered the operating room to perform a hyn restoration surgery on Jiang Zhou.

Of course, this was just a simple surgery.

Inside the operating room, there were various instrunts and dications, as well as many professional devices.

Once everything was ready, Shao He picked up the scalpel and began the operation.

Jiang Zhou was initially a bit embarrassed, but thinking about how she could assist her beloved man to restore his great enterprise, she felt all her actions were worth it.

For Shao He, such minor surgeries were extrely straightforward, almost child’s play compared to the brain surgeries that involved cranial openings.

In the ti it took an incense stick to burn, Shao He had already completed the surgery.

Jiang Zhou’s gaze finally shifted from above her head to her body, and she asked with so disbelief, “Is it done already?”

“Yes, you just need to take so dicine now. No strenuous activities for a month,” Shao He instructed.

“Understood…” Jiang Zhou nodded, her cheeks slightly red, clearly sowhat shy.

“You can leave now.” Shao He tidied up everything and stood up to speak to her, then proceeded to clean up all the surgical instrunts.

“Thank you…”

“You’re welco.”

The two didn’t speak much further. Before Jiang Zhou left, Shao He reminded her of the precautions and to avoid strenuous activities, and he also prescribed her a dication to take three tis a day at ho.

When Jiang Zhou left, Lady Jiang’s suspended heart was finally able to relax.

The reason Shao He perford the surgery on Jiang Zhou was to learn what they were actually plotting, and she also wanted to aggravate the Second Prince.

Early in the morning, Shao He walked out of Anji Hall, yawning, her face showing clear signs of fatigue.

Yawn after yawn, a thin mist ford in her eyes, giving them a misty appearance.

“Doctor Shao, you finally woke up.” A woman enthusiastically ran over, grabbing the teapot from her hand, poured a cup of tea, and respectfully handed it over to her.

“What… do you want?” Shao He quickly recognized the woman in front of her as the one who had caused trouble in her shop a few days earlier and instantly beca defensive.

The woman was startled by her reaction and, thinking of sothing, quickly shook her hands in explanation, “Doctor Shao, don’t misunderstand, I don’t an anything else, just wanted to apologize to you.”

“Apologize?” Shao He looked at her with distrust.

The woman stepped back, slightly bowed, and said apologetically, “I’m sorry, I was too impulsive before, so I did those foolish things. I hope Doctor Shao can forgive this ti, I definitely won’t dare again.”

Seeing the person who was sincerely apologizing, Shao He hesitated for a mont, “As long as you truly recognize your mistake and can change, I will forgive you this ti.”

The woman, hearing this, excitedly grabbed her hand, “Really? Doctor Shao, are you truly willing to forgive this ti?”

“Yes.” Shao He, seeing the excited person, subtly pulled her hand back.

“That’s really wonderful.”

However, the woman secretly thought to herself: This way, she could get close to the Fifth Prince.

Although she internally despised Shao He, thinking she was unworthy to beco the Fifth Prince’s principal wife, the fact was unchangeable as it was decreed by the Imperial Decree.

Then, pretending to be casual, she asked, “May I know how Doctor Shao and the Fifth Prince ca to know each other?”

Shao He scoffed internally, as expected, she had an agenda.

“Could you tell about it?”

“No,” Shao He flatly refused.

“If you don’t have any other matter, please leave quickly. This is a dical clinic, not a place to gossip,” Shao He stated firmly.

The woman paused, then quickly gathered herself and said, “Alright.”

She was just about to turn around and leave when she suddenly stopped and asked, “Doctor Shao, you are really fortunate, but the Fifth Prince won’t have just you as a principal wife. Instead of letting others intervene, why not choose soone who could assist you?”

“That’s not for you to worry about,” Shao He responded calmly.

The woman wanted to say more, but stopped at the sight of that cold gaze.

Leaving Anji Hall, the woman felt an increased hatred toward Shao He. The so-called apology was just a facade to gain a shred of goodwill, to use this chance to stay beside the Fifth Prince.

Now that Shao He had responded that way, the woman imdiately understood that she might not have any chance at all.

“I can help you get rid of her,” suddenly a cold voice ca from behind, and a veiled woman approached slowly.

“You can help ?” the woman asked in astonishnt.

However, quickly, a flicker of suspicion crossed her eyes, and she asked cautiously, “Why would you help ?”

“Because I have the sa enemy as you do, and I want her to taste what pain is!” the veiled person stated through gritted teeth, obviously harboring deep hatred toward Shao He.

The woman hesitated for a mont, and finally nodded, as she was deeply infatuated with the Fifth Prince.

“As long as you can help get rid of her, I am willing to pay whatever price necessary.”
