Zhao Yuebei hurried over to greet her, speaking anxiously, “The woman who had brought her child for a consultation a few days ago ca looking for you, but unfortunately, you weren’t here.”
“Could sothing have happened to the child?”
Shao He felt that shouldn’t be the case; the child had a genetic illness but was otherwise healthy, and although he might cry at night, it shouldn’t last too long.

Although she didn’t finish her sentence, Shao He understood; this was why she had no choice but to co here.
Lin Shuangqiao knelt again, pleading, “Doctor Shao, I know you are kind-hearted. Please take in. I know so pharmacology, and I’m hardworking. I can help with tasks and don’t need a salary — just a single al would suffice.”

“There’s sothing I wanted to discuss with you,” Shao He said, glancing towards Lin Shuangqiao who was sitting head bowed, clutching her tea cup.
Yun Qian nodded, “What is it?”
“This woman has been driven out by her mother-in-law and wants to stay here in return for als. She could assist during surgeries. What do you think?”
“That’s fine, no problem. She should still be paid what she deserves. There’s a room available. Have it cleaned up for her to stay in,” Yun Qian agreed, nodding his approval.
Sitting nervously on the chair, Lin Shuangqiao stood up excitedly to thank Yun Qian, “Thank you, thank you.”
