Chapter 189: Chapter 190: Heavy Bleeding Chapter 189: Chapter 190: Heavy Bleeding “Father? Where was my father when I was at death’s door, and when I wrote begging for help? And now you need , you say you’re my father? How laughable.” Shao He mocked without fear.

He preferred to not have such a father at all.

Shao Zhengru suppressed his swelling anger, speaking patiently, “I know you hold grudges, but those matters are in the past. Why must you cling to one thing?”

Shao He had no interest in listening to these useless words. His cold eyes sternly t his, declaring, “If I do not see my mother today, I will never set foot in the Shao Family’s ho again. Father, think carefully about whether or not you will let see her.”

Upon hearing this, Shao Zhengru panicked, having spoken to this point, he could only take her to the courtyard house.

As they were about to arrive, a guard, accompanied by a maid, hurried over.

Upon seeing Shao He, the maid imdiately knelt before her, pleading, “Doctor Shao, please save our young mistress.”

Recognizing the maid as Jhiang Yijia’s personal servant, Shao He asked instantly, “What happened? What’s wrong with your mistress?”

“Today at a banquet, my young mistress accidentally fell and is bleeding heavily; I beg you, Doctor Shao, to save her,” the maid sobbed inconsolably.

Hearing this, Shao He imdiately helped the maid up, glanced at the door in front of her, and ultimately chose to leave.

She could see her mother anyti, but Jhiang Yijia’s life was hanging by a thread; a mont’s delay could result in death for both her and her unborn child.

“Let’s go, tell more as we walk,” Shao He said as she turned to leave.

Seeing her depart, Shao Zhengru closed his eyes and breathed a sigh of relief.

On the way, Shao He inquired about the situation.

“Today, my young mistress went to a banquet at the Hong Family’s ho. Suddenly, she fell down for so unknown reason, and now neither the Doctors nor the Imperial Physician know what to do, which is why I ca to seek Doctor Shao’s help.”

The maid was aware of Shao He’s outstanding dical skills, knowing that she was the only one who could save her mistress.

After understanding the circumstances and unable to delve deep into thought, Shao He knew she needed her surgical kit.

As she entered the carriage, she visualized the surgical kit that had fallen inside.

Qingxia was even more surprised, “When was this placed in the carriage?”

Shao He didn’t have ti to answer her, preoccupied with Jhiang Yijia’s plight.

The carriage quickly stopped at the Hong Family’s residence, and Shao He jumped down first, carrying her surgical kit as she hurried inside, led by the maid to a little courtyard.

Fang Jue was pacing outside, sweating profusely from anxiety. Seeing the approaching figures, he ca forward.

“Doctor Shao, you must save my wife, please save her.”

“Rest assured.”

Shao He patted his shoulder and moved forward, but as she approached the room, she heard painful screams from inside.

“Ah, ah… my child, my child.”

Shao He looked back at Qing Shan, who passed her the child. She then said to Qingxia, “Co in with and help.”

She needed soone she could trust to assist her, as she did not trust anyone else.

“Yes.”

Qingxia entered the room with Shao He.

The Midwife, unaware of who they were, protested, “Hey. Who are you? This isn’t a place you can just barge into, get out imdiately.”

As the Midwife spoke and attempted to push her out, Shao He signaled Qingxia with her eyes. Qingxia suddenly had a dagger in her hand, placed at the Midwife’s neck, “Say one more word, and I’ll take your life.”

The Midwife trembled in fear, no longer daring to speak.

Shao He approached the bed, seeing Jhiang Yijia lying there, eyes tightly shut, breathing faintly, her cheeks pale.

She quickly checked her pulse, which was indeed rapidly racing.

She then examined her pupils, finding them dilated and unresponsive, then touched her abdon, pressing down to discover the child was breech.

“Yijia, can you hear ?” Shao He patted Jhiang Yijia’s cheek.

“Doc… Doctor Shao,” Jhiang Yijia weakly responded.

“Tell , do you still have the strength to deliver the child?”

“No, I can’t, I really…cannot…” With her severe weakness, even speaking was breathless, how could she possibly have the strength to give birth?

“This is too dangerous, we can’t continue like this.”

Shao He pushed the Midwife out, then turned to Fang Jue outside and asked, “Do you trust ?”

“I trust you,” Fang Jue knowing her dical expertise, and at this point, he had no choice but to believe.

“Good, then guard the door, do not let anyone enter. Otherwise, two lives might be lost,” Shao He sternly instructed.

Fang Jue, knowing the severity of the situation, seriously replied, “Rest assured, if anyone goes in today, they will have to step over my dead body first.”

Shao He shut the door with a “bang.”

“Miss, what should we do now?” Qingxia, facing such a situation for the first ti, couldn’t help but feel a bit panicked.

“You help wipe sweat, and no matter what I do, don’t make any noise,” Shao He ordered.

Shao He needed a quiet environnt to perform surgery, as any distraction could be dangerous for Jhiang Yijia and the child.

“Yes, I understand,”

Shao He moved to the bedside, placing the scalpel nearby, then opened the box containing the anesthetic and laid Jhiang Yijia on the bed.

“Strip her,” Shao He instructed.

Qingxia did not hesitate to remove her clothes, her expression remaining calm as she looked at the naked woman before her.

“What, what are you going to do?” Qingxia, stunned by the objects her mistress was handling, watched her movents in shock.

“Perform a cesarean section,” Shao He answered coldly.
