He knew that to gain a firm foothold in the Imperial Court, he needed powerful connections. The Minister of Personnel was the foremost among the chief ministers, an appointnt that would be greatly beneficial to him.
“Very well, you handle the other matters. I’m also a bit tired; you may leave,” Old Madam said, rising wearily and walking to the inner chamber with the nanny’s assistance.
A sinister expression crossed Chu Yu’s eyes. This ti, he was eager to see what Luo Jiner could use to save herself.
