Chapter 160: Chapter 161: The Child Has No Hands
Shao He saw the image displayed on the device and moved the instrunt back and forth twice more, not expecting to actually confirm her prediction.
Jhiang Yijia was seeing soone else’s child for the first ti and found it sowhat novel, but she noticed sothing strange: there seed to be sothing wrong with the child.
Before she could ask, Madam Sun was already impatiently saying, “Well, what’s the result? If you don’t have the skills, just say so!”
“Your child has no hands.”
The words spoken lightly by Shao He struck like thunder, stopping Madam Sun in her tracks as she attempted to stand up.
Jhiang Yijia also realized what had been bothering her; it was that the child was missing a hand.
“No, that’s impossible!” Madam Sun refused to believe such a thing; how could her child not have hands?
Seeing the shocked crowd, Shao He pointed to the image on the equipnt and said, “Look, this is one of the child’s hands. The other hand is not visible, but the arm is.”
“You are cursing my son! How can my son possibly have no hands? You’re just spouting nonsense! And to call yourself a Divine Doctor, I say you’re nothing but a quack!”
Madam Sun was furious and rushed forward to hit soone.
“Calm down. Whether it’s true or false, we need to be clear. Sit down first,” Jhiang Yijia urgently put her hand out to stop her.
“It’s very clear. That’s just the way it is,” Shao He knew such news was hard for Madam Sun to accept, but it was the truth.
Madam Sun pointed an accusing finger and cursed vehently, “You wicked woman! Cursing my son! How dare you be called a Divine Doctor with your behavior? You’re nothing but a charlatan!”
Upon hearing her words, Shao He’s face imdiately darkened.
Madam Sun, oblivious to her change in deanor, continued to curse, “A woman like you is the kind that gives birth to children without hands!”
“I won’t argue with you. Please leave. Our temple is small and cannot accommodate your esteed presence,” Shao He said as she got up and turned the machine off.
Jhiang Yijia grabbed Madam Sun’s arm, dragging her out, yet Madam Sun was still not giving up and shouted loudly, “You’re a fraud, a fraud!”
Shao He stood up, approached Madam Sun, and looking into her eyes, she said, “Whether it’s true or not, you’ll know once the child is born. Why argue incessantly here?”
“I may not dare claim to be a Divine Doctor, but I guarantee that the child in your womb definitely has no hands,” Shao He said with conviction, and her words were heard by the other patients outside the door.
“You…” Madam Sun’s face turned red with anger.
Turning her head to see Yun Qian coming over, she cursed with him, “This is the examining female doctor you hired at Anji Hall, daring to curse my son!”
“Mada, you should be cautious in your words. What makes you think this female doctor is cursing your son when clearly you’re the one unwilling to accept the truth?”
Although Yun Qian had his doubts, he trusted Shao He’s dical skills more. If she said the lady’s child in the womb had no hands, then there must be none.
“You… You are all the sa! This shop is wicked. All this talk of doctors having parental hearts is a lie; you’re only here to swindle money from the people!”
As Madam Sun stood there screaming and cursing, and the surrounding patients began to gossip, Shao He, thoroughly annoyed, directly called the constable to take her away, and suddenly the clamor around her ceased.

This made everyone give up on the idea.
Shao He knew that doing so and letting people know could lead to severe consequences and that if exploited by those with ulterior motives, it was unthinkable.
Seeing this, Jhiang Yijia did not further trouble her and, feeling guilty about Madam Sun’s affair, said apologetically, “I’m sorry about today’s incidents. It’s caused you trouble.”
“You don’t have to apologize to or feel guilty. It’s not you who caused the trouble,” Shao He smiled nonchalantly.
Seeing that she truly bore no grudge, Jhiang Yijia finally felt relieved and turned to leave.
