Chapter 253: The Abode Of The Moon Goddess

Cassandra chose a white gown that seed to have been sewn with starlight and moonbeams. It exuded an aura of warmth and serenity, a gentle glow it carried soothed those who looked upon it, in this case, her mate. It slowly shimred under the light, subtly shifting with her emotions—soft and inviting with her tender mood, radiant and dazzling when her passion burnt bright.

This gown was not just from clothing but a reflection of her essence: the beauty of love in its purest and most radiant form. It transford her into a vision of divine splendour, a living embodint of the power of love to heal, inspire, and endure.

She took a twirl for her mate and asked with a twinkle in her eyes.

"What do you think?"

"Stunning and gorgeous."

Siroos turned around to reveal his own costu. He spread his arms making Cassandra’s breath hitch. The cropped sleeveless white shirt he donned revealed his midriff and emphasised his toned physique. The design was unique and stylish, with a high neck and an angular cutout across the chest, adding an edgy flair. Fur covered the neck area. It fitted snugly, accentuating his muscular shoulders and arms, while the absence of sleeves and cropped length provided a bold, daring look, well suited for the god of beasts.

The white braies he wore were also tight fitting held by a thick gold belt that shimred under the moonlight filtering through the foliage. His lush desert-shaded hair were tightly held in a man bun at the base of his scalp.

Cassandra stepped forward and placed her hand on the bulging muscles of his chest. She rubbed gently, feeling his warm flesh underneath her skin.

"Is it bad that I want you to take

right now while wearing this," she drawled out, her mouth salivating at the sight of her mate.

Siroos couldn’t fight back a snicker, and his large, callous hands slipped to her waist as he held her tightly flushed to his body.

"I promise I will, after eting your mother. She must be expecting us."

Cassandra nodded, knowing her mate would always keep his promise. Her wings flicked behind her opening all bright and shining, pulsing with that otherworldly energy she possessed.

"Ready?" She asked, keeping her arms around him and he gave a swift nod.

She smiled, and her magic burst forward in a lightning flash, and both of them disappeared from the phoenix nest as if they were never even there. Their destination was the moon where Aylin impatiently waited for her daughter and Son-in-law.

Both of them reappeared right before Aylin’s castle on the moon. The special spell around the place lets the humans breathe. They separated with their shocked eyes concentrated on the castle looming in front, especially Siroos’s.

The castle was built from pure moon rock, its surface shimring with a soft, silvery-white glow under the eternal light of the stars. The stone appeared almost crystalline, reflecting the gentle luminescence of the cosmos. Interwoven with the stone were fluffy clouds—a substance both light and resilient, bound together by Aylin’s magic. These clouds ford arches, spires, and bridges, floating seamlessly yet firmly in place. Unlike earthly clouds, they never dissipated, maintaining their soft, billowing texture.

Its slender towers rose toward the heavens, their tips crowned with glowing orbs of moonlight that pulsed faintly, as though alive. The spires were laced with intricate patterns of starlight, revealing delicate constellations onto the castle walls like millions of gems and diamonds embedded into them.

The outer walls were smooth and rounded—- a blend of solid moonstone and shimring cloud ridges. Where the moon rock t the clouds. A faint glow emanated, giving the illusion that the castle was partially afloat. Stairways and ramps of hardened starlight spiralled around the walls, connecting different levels.

"What a majestic sight. I have never seen sothing so beautiful and peaceful," Siroos breathed out to his mate and she smiled with rembrance of this place.

"I know, let’s go inside." Cassandra led her mate forward, and they stepped on the suspendedcloud-ford bridges that spanned gaps between towers; their fluffy texture glowed faintly underfoot. They rippled softly with each step both of them took, giving the sensation of walking on air while holding firm. The sensation was akin to walking on clouds without falling through.

They passed through the bridges and arrived in the vast courtyards, with moon dust gardens planted with glowing lunar flora, like silver lilies and radiant star blossoms. Pools of liquid starlight lay scattered across the grounds, reflecting the infinite stars above. Small, floating moonstones hovered around the courtyards, casting soft, warm light.

The fairy-like creatures known as Lunaris Sylphs, beings of celestial grace dwelled within and maintained this castle. These luminous creatures, both male and female, were embodints of moonlight and cosmic magic, their forms delicate yet powerful as if sculpted by the stars themselves.

Their skin glowed faintly, a soft silver or pearlescent hue, as if lit from within by the moon’s radiance. It was smooth and slightly translucent, giving glimpses of shimring veins of starlight beneath. They were busy tending to the gardens, their shining eyes cast curious glances at the visitors.

"This is what heaven must look like," Siroos whispered to Cassandra. She placed her hand in front of her face and snickered at her starry-eyed mate. She revealed.

"This is your real birthplace. That’s where my mother created you and other shifters."

"No wonder I am so amazing, and my mate can’t get enough of ," he bragged, making Cassandra giggle so more.

They entered through the vast translucent silvery door, which seed to have been constructed from so kind of jelly-like structure. Their bodies sizzled as they walked through it and entered the courtyards.

The entire castle humd with otherworldly tranquillity. A faint, lodic chi echoed through the halls, carried by a gentle breeze that whispered through the clouds. Despite the moon’s desolation, the castle exuded life—a beacon of peace and serenity in the cold vastness of space for this was the abode of the moon goddess.

Wandering through the corridors, they finally arrived at the heart of the castle, where the grand Throne Room was situated. With a ceiling made entirely of swirling, luminous clouds that revealed the stars beyond. The floor was polished moonstone, its surface embedded with faint, glowing veins of silver. At the centre stood a throne carved from a single, massive moonstone, surrounded by drifting, glowing orbs that shifted colours in harmony with the emotions of its ruler who comfortably sat on it.

Aylin—the moon goddess was a vision of celestial beauty and serenity, embodying the mystique and power of the lunar sphere. Her presence embodied a gentle, otherworldly glow as she herself was the source of moonlight.

Her silvery hair flowed like liquid starlight, cascading down her back in endless waves until they touched the ground, pooling softly around her feet like a luminous veil. Each strand shimred faintly, catching the light of the stars, and glowed with subtle hues of silver and white as if the cosmos itself was reflected within. Tiny, glimring specks of light, like miniature fireflies were spread all across her hair.

Her eyes were vast and endless, pools of glowing silver with a faint luminescent ring that reflected the phases of the moon. When one gazed into her eyes, they could feel the depth of the universe and a profound sense of calm, as if the weight of ti and space vanished.

Her skin was luminous and pearlescent, as smooth as moonstone and glowed. Her presence exuded a soothing, cool aura, like the gentle caress of moonlight on a clear night. Around her, a soft, misty glow surrounded her like an ethereal halo, shifting subtly with her attire. A belt of crescent moons, crafted from pure moonstone, cinched her waist, and her shoulders were draped with a sheer, glittering cape resembling the Milky Way.

Siroos and Cassandra observed her attire.

She was adorned in a gown made of woven starlight and moon dust, flowing like water yet weightless as air. The gown was an iridescent white, with faint hints of silver and pale blue, shimring with every movent. The fabric was fixed with patterns of constellations, which shifted and moved as though alive. The hem of her gown drifted like a soft mist, never truly touching the ground or her feet.

Seeing her daughter and son-in-law, she sprang from her seat and drifted towards them as if floating in the air. She painfully called out, the tears like diamonds shimring in her eyes.

"Asara!"

"Mom!" Cassandra’s voice ca out muffled as she battled her own tears and threw herself in the waiting arms of her mother. They embraced each other amidst soft cries and leaking tears. Their hearts jolted and pained but finding solace in each other’s arms.

"I am so sorry my beautiful daughter. It took

so long to free you. Forgive , I failed you as a mother," she lanted while hugging her daughter close to her chest and crying softly on her shoulder.
