Ash was ready to shoot the wolf down in case of attack.

His finger tightened on the trigger... then loosened. Not everything here was an enemy.

If it were past him, he would have already shot it then and there, but saving MP also wouldn’t hurt.

All these reasons one side and the fear of those two humanoids on the other side. How would they react if he killed that wolf? More curious, he wanted to see how they would react to the new invader.

To his surprise, the wolf approached the two figures sitting calmly in front of them. It dropped a bright golden fruit that was brimming with energy from its mouth.

Ash licked his lips, the growling of his stomach sending reminders that he hadn’t eaten for a long ti. But he couldn’t do anything.

He kept watching the scene unfold as one of the creatures made of vines and leaves put their hand on the broken leg.

A green mystical energy was swirling on the hand and within minutes the wolf stood up, its legs perfectly fine.

Then it walked to the pond, drinking so water. During the process, it noticed Ash and sneered as if trying to mock him.

But making no moves, it left the area.

Ash felt comfortable after seeing the wolf drink the water. He gulped a small amount of water.

He knew drinking too much after long dehydration could cause his death. Then he sat back, watching the water attentively. He wanted more but he had to wait a little for his body to respond normally.

It was already nightti and the reflected moonlight in the pond was scattering around.

He decided to spend his first night in this new world close to the two kind creatures.

He wouldn’t be going to sleep though, he still had his doubts and didn’t trust the humanoids.

During the night he saw many beasts co with their gifts of different kinds of food and get their wounds treated.

None of them attacked Ash, completely different from their wild nature.

When he first woke up in this world his eyelids were heavy, and he was deprived of sleep, and the effects were taking place. His eyes were heavy, and with such a boring night it beca harder to keep himself alive.

Exhaustion won the race and sowhere in the midnight Ash had slept.

His eyes shot open, realizing what condition he was in. He felt refreshed though his stomach was still empty.

He looked towards the humanoid beasts where they should have been but found none.

Then his eyes turned to the pond where two humanoid creatures were erging. In the broad daylight, he could tell the difference between the two that he missed the last day.

One of them had more flowers on it while the other had rough sticks sticking out.

He decided to call the first one Flower and the other one Stick.

As he felt relaxed, his hands touched sothing soft.

Turning around he realized there were three fruits beside him.

He looked towards Flower and Stick in confusion. It looked like they had laid the fruits there in the night.

Ash, grabbing a green fruit, chomped on it. He felt his stomach getting full at a rapid speed with every bite.

[MP limit has been increased by 20 for an hour]

[MP: 80/80]

Ash noted the change, "so these fruits can also affect my stats."

By the ti he completed his first fruit, his stomach was already full. Though the fruit was the size of an average apple, for so reason it was enough to fill Ash’s stomach.

Seeing two remaining fruits, he got an idea.

Standing up, he started walking towards Flower and Stick holding the fruits in his hands.

Seeing him approach, they both looked at him with curiosity in their eyes.

Ash, lowering his gaze in respect to show his submission, went on his knees and pushed the two fruits back.

Flower tilted its head and pushed them back.

Then she started drawing sothing on the ground with her fingers.

Ash was unable to understand at the start, but then it made the picture of a human and his hand close to its mouth and a round object in its hand.

Ash was shocked by their intelligence, it was definitely telling him to eat them.

"I have already eaten enough, you can keep them," Ash said politely, trying to gauge their reactions.

But both of them had dumbfounded expressions as if they didn’t understand a single word.

Ash didn’t push the matter, tried to put them in his shirt but having a small pouch he was unable to put them in. So he stuffed each in his pants pockets.

Now he had understood these strange beasts. In the brutal and wild forest, they were symbols of peace, a way to balance everything.

Beasts ca to get healed in exchange for food and didn’t fight in their proximity.

But then he was also aware the speed that he saw couldn’t be achieved just by healing, they must have so way to improve their strength or it was sothing they got genetically.

But he truly didn’t care. Currently, his priority was to find human settlent. He was lucky to find these two kind souls, he couldn’t imagine what would have happened if he had encountered a brutal beast of the sa strength.

And it was not late, he could find them in the future if he kept roaming in the forest.

Seeing the picture made by Flower, Ash got an idea.

He started drawing a group of humans living together. And then made a forest close to it and there was a pond where three figures sat. He highlighted himself.

Both the creatures looked at it intently as if trying to decipher sothing. They had a frown for so reason on their face.

"Well this should work," said Ash, drawing a line from him to the group of humans, indicating that he wanted to go to them.

He didn’t know if these two had the idea where humans lived. But there was nothing wrong in trying.

He got the reaction that he didn’t expect, there was a clear frown and distaste on their faces. The anger in their eyes was palpable.

Ash tightened his grip on his gun, currently he had 80 MP. If it ca to a fight, he was ready to shoot all of them, but of course that mattered if he got enough ti to use his toy. Or his head would be crushed before that.
