"Are you—are you sure you want to jump down too?"
When i heard the red-dressed girl say she was definitely going to jump, she couldn't help but stare in shock.
She looked at Liuli again, but no matter how many tis she checked, the girl wasn't joking at all.
From the looks of it, i was just pretending to be crazy.
But Yuyan and Liuli were the real lunatics!
"Of course I'm going down. We need to see her alive or see her dead—otherwise, if we just let so Divine Transformation good guy disappear, do you really think you'll sleep tonight?"
Liuli tied up her hair and flicked her bangs aside. Her pretty eyes looked calm in a scary way.
That look wasn't fake.
"Plus, the Condemnation Cult has been weak for years. Besides a few guards watching the Mother Abyss, most of the main Pain Flowers should be fighting in the real world right now..."
"And i, we both know the Mother Abyss isn't so straight tunnel to the Mother Goddess. It's just a bunch of secret worlds stacked on top of each other, made from the Mother Goddess's nightmares..."
"So when Yuyan jumped off that cliff, she probably didn't die. She most likely fell into one of those secret places."
"But if we can kill Yuyan before those Pain Flowers get back, and make it to Full Moon Sect territory, even if they co back, they can't prove we did anything!"
Liuli said all this like she ant business, then looked at the white-dressed girl who was still thinking about it.
She froze up.
But before she could say anything, Liuli smiled coldly:
"Yuyan's already hurt anyway. If you're chicken, you can wait up here."
"HUH!!!?"
That pissed i off big ti.
She stretched and yawned, making her plum blossom sword appear again. She blew hair out of her face: "What's to be scared of? So dying prey—no matter what, I'm gonna turn her into food for my sword today!"
"Yeah? Good luck."
Seeing i get fired up again, Liuli smiled nastily. Without thinking twice, she spun around and fell backward off the cliff.
After her, the twin-tailed girl in white grinned and took a running jump, spreading her arms wide as she dove off.
Falling through the dark pit, i stuck out her right hand. The plum blossom branches around her got closer and closer to Liuli below:

Once this is done, I'll eat Yuyan first, then make you part of too!

"Yino, what the hell did you get into? This is still supposed to be the Demon Abyss world?!"
In the weird palace full of red light, the fox girl was running for her life along the walls and ceiling.
Behind her, the huge heart called the Demon Abyss Core was hanging in the air, held up by tons of vines. The heart was controlling those bloody vines, making them move like tentacles and shoot at Jinyue like missiles, smashing through the floor and walls behind her.
Lucky for her, even though Jinyue wasn't that strong, she was fast as hell. She wanted to live so bad it made her run like a blur.
On the other side of the fight, Yino wasn't doing much better.
He was starting to feel stupid about this.
He should've crushed Yuyan's jade thing before walking into this palace and starting the boss fight.
Now Yuyan wasn't here yet, and Yino had walked in alone. He was in deep shit.
In the ga, Chen Jianxin really did stumble into this palace that locked up the Mother Goddess's heart while people were chasing him.
But unlike what was happening to Yino now, back then both Jinyue and Liuli were there.
The original Liuli—don't even get started. She'd just turned her own sister evil at the end of vl two, then watched her die and get turned into so display to keep the Azure Forest running...
Back then, Liuli had gone completely dark, and her power shot up to Divine Transformation level.
And the original Jinyue was super strong too.
She wasn't like now, stuck at Foundation level—she'd already gotten cursed from using her Abyss Eyes too much.
Everyone knew the more Jinyue used her abyss power, the more the Demon Abyss ssed with her head and strength.
So... In the ga, when Chen Jianxin accidentally started the Mother Goddess Heart boss fight, he basically made Liuli and Jinyue fight it instead of him.
Liuli and Jinyue wanted to kill Chen Jianxin, but the Mother Goddess Heart attacked everyone.
So the stronger Liuli and Jinyue had to waste ti dealing with it, which helped Chen Jianxin stay alive for ten minutes until Yuyan showed up to save him.
Yeah.
That was how the main story went in the ga.
But the problem was, Yino only had Jinyue with him right now!
This sucked.
Liuli hadn't lost her sister, so she was still stuck at top Nascent Soul level, and she wasn't even here.
And Jinyue?
She was even worse—stuck at Foundation level. Like so level 20 newbie who walked into a level 90 dungeon.
How were we supposed to win this?
No way.
Right now, Yino and Jinyue could only run around and try not to die.
They couldn't leave—the second they walked into this red palace, it locked them in.
For now, Yino just had to save his energy.
He had Lily and Wangxue contracted inside him, plus his main character sword body thing. His sword was good stuff he'd found in the Holy Church's backyard...
He definitely had so tricks up his sleeve.

Because...
Yuyan and Liuli weren't here yet.
Yino only had one ten-second power burst. If he used it now, what would he do when the real strong people showed up?
"This heart is huge—just deal with it!"
He dodged another vine attack and called out while jumping up to catch the fox girl who'd just fallen and was about to get hurt.
Honestly, he and Jinyue worked pretty well together.
This Mother Goddess Heart thing was just a sitting duck boss in the ga.
So first, it couldn't move, and second, it was basically braindead. Compared to the original bad guys who knew martial arts and went crazy and even had second forms, this Mother Goddess Heart was pretty simple.
As long as Yino didn't attack it and piss it off, it would just keep doing the sa basic attacks over and over.
And everyone knew these big bosses started easy—just so tentacle vines trying to hit you, or calling up so weird little monsters.
For Yino, who knew all of Yuyan's moves by heart, this dumb Mother Goddess Heart was no big deal.
So whenever Yino had a break, he'd help out Jinyue when she got in trouble.
After a while, Jinyue started getting the hang of it from all her close calls.
"But are we really just gonna keep running around waiting for Yuyan?"
"What else can we do? It's just us two!"
Yino clicked his tongue. While holding the fox, he pointed at a nun statue with a red veil guarding the Mother Goddess Heart.
"Just so you know—if that heart gets hurt even a little bit, this statue called the Pain Flower wakes up. It's not only super strong, but it shares life with that big heart."
"So don't even think about attacking that heart until we're ready—?!"
Yino was still talking when—
The next second, a massive sword attack suddenly blew up from the back of the palace—
BOOOOOM!!!!
Ice sword energy shot up from the ground, not only blasting open the palace doors but charging straight at the giant heart and nun statue.
Yino stopped running. The fox girl in his arms stared at that crazy strong ice sword attack.
Like they both knew what to do, both of them turned to look at the giant heart.
Drip...
Drip...
Through all the smoke, they could only hear blood hitting the floor.
At the sa ti, Yino and Jinyue heard soone walking in high heels from outside the palace.
They looked and finally saw the white-dressed sword girl who'd finally made it.
After a whole day and night, her white dress had blood stains on it, and her long white legs had so cuts too.
But she looked fine, nothing like soone who'd just gotten hurt.
"Senior Sister..."
Yino waved his hand to clear the smoke from the sword attack.
At the sa ti, he quickly tossed the fox aside while no one was looking.
"Yino..."
"Yino, are you okay?!"
Seeing the guy clearly through the smoke, the white-dressed girl's eyes went wide. Her cold face finally looked happy and warm.
But just as Yuyan was walking toward Yino—
Buzz!!
Red eyes woke up in the dark.
Right then, Yino not only saw the red glow coming from the smoke but felt so scary powerful energy.
This was way beyond what soone like Yino could handle—like that white dragon girl who'd gone all out near Western Province City.
"Senior Sister, watch out—!"
Yino yelled out fast.
But the next second, the red shadow shot out of the smoke.
Yuyan's eyes went wide as she quickly put her sword up to block. But just as the red shadow was about to slam into her, several black-gold vines flew in and wrapped around her like a cage—
BOOM!!
Blood and smoke exploded again.
"Liuli, why'd you save her?"
Outside the palace, i swung her plum blossom sword with a nasty smile.
She walked forward into the blood fog. But just as she got ready to hunt and her hair started turning red—
Stab!!
Another bloody vine with poison thorns shot through from outside the palace.
But this ti, when Yuyan looked back in shock, she saw the sick-looking pretty woman who'd been walking toward her with her sword was just standing there, frozen.
The plum blossom on the girl's chest had been stabbed clean through by a thorny vine with gray-white flowers.
"...?"
