"You could've given so warning..."
In the small house on Ranmo Peak, Yuyan covered her mouth. Her eyebrows furrowed as she frantically wiped her face, clearly flustered.
Since this was her first ti experiencing sothing like this, Yuyan just stood there blushing when she got splashed in the face, too stunned to react.
anwhile, Yino was completely exhausted after the lengthy treatnt process.
But his inability to speak wasn't entirely due to fatigue. Part of it was because Yuyan had been leaning forward with her arms pressed down, so that pair of heavy lons pressing against his face made it rather difficult for Yino to breathe.
"T... this was my first ti with Senior Sister doing this... My head felt fuzzy, and before I could react, it just happened..."
"Sorry for getting it on you..."
"I'll get a basin of water to clean you up..."
Yino was still in a dazed state from partial oxygen deprivation.
Like Yuyan, his face now had a flushed glow. Ever since joining the Wuji Sect, Yino had been planning to pursue Sword Immortal Yuyan, but the current progression wasn't what he'd imagined. He wasn't even sure what Yuyan's attitude ant by doing this.
Logically, for an ice-cold beauty like Yuyan to do sothing like this, she must have feelings for Yino.
But when Yuyan was helping with his treatnt...
She didn't seem to have any special emotions. Despite the blush on her face, she gave Yino a cold feeling, as if she was simply conducting an experint or performing so routine procedure.
And so, Yino found himself in this half-reluctant situation where Yuyan had claid his second experience in this special way.
The treatnt process was certainly pleasant, but now that it was over, Yino felt empty inside. This post-activity feeling wasn't nearly as fulfilling as when he was with Yuebai in the Azure Forest.
Moreover, Yuyan had been humming nursery rhys the entire ti, cradling Yino in her arms while treating him.
The sensation was truly bizarre! It was like being a baby cradled by his mother...
At first, Yino found it abstract, thinking Yuyan lacked basic common sense to co up with such an idea. What surprised him even more was that he unexpectedly responded well to this approach...
Could it be because since his rebirth, Yino hadn't seen his mother since childhood, so he lacked maternal love?
He wasn't sure...
Yino couldn't figure it out...
But Yuyan had definitely claid him...
Now sitting on the bed, Yino lowered his head in thought. Despite being experienced in two lifetis, he found himself questioning his reality after being handled by Yuyan that easly, a sword-obsessed woman lacking basic common sense.
"What's wrong?"
Yuyan wrung out a towel from a basin and looked back curiously at Yino as she wiped her face.
Yino couldn't speak. He didn't even know how to face Yuyan anymore.
"You didn't like it?"
Yuyan blinked, noticing the young man's contemplative mood after entering sage mode.
Her concern remained gentle in tone. Recalling Yino's extrely excited reactions during the treatnt, Yuyan truly felt she hadn't done anything wrong—otherwise, how could Yino have expelled the evil toxins?
"I do... but the thod wasn't quite what I expected..."
Yino found it difficult to express himself. He was still reflecting on whether he truly lacked love.
But Yuyan still didn't understand. She tilted her head slightly:
"What's different?"
"I just don't understand why Senior Sister would go this far for ..."
Regarding the maternal love issue, Yino was too embarrassed to discuss it with Yuyan, but now that they were both calm, he didn't mind having an honest conversation about other matters.
Yuyan paused, then sighed helplessly:
"I just felt... you shouldn't keep holding it in... and there happened to be this manual that provided an opportunity..."
"Do you like , Senior Sister?"
"I…. don't know..."
"But you've done so much for ?"
"Isn't this good enough?"
Suddenly, Yuyan turned her head and raised her voice slightly: "Yino, haven't you always desired my body?"
"Rather than having you stay with every day, yearning but unable to obtain, why not let your Senior Sister help release you?"
"This way, when you stay on Ranmo Peak each day, I can help you deal with these suppressed desires. Once these distracting desires are released, you can focus on healing and cultivating without distractions."
"Besides..."
"I can accept this level of involvent."
"We haven't crossed any real boundaries, so you don't need to be responsible for your Senior's life, and I don't need to be responsible for yours."
"Yino, you're troubled by lust, which is why you crave . And I have my own desires. I lost my clan years ago, and recently almost lost you in the secret realm... Yino, I have always believed you have potential. You're skilled in chess and have talent for sword and cultivation. You should be cultivating properly with on Ranmo Peak, possibly even surpassing on the immortal path soday..."
"But fate is cruel. Since we t, disasters have struck you one after another, leaving you in this condition..."
"So I just want to do everything possible to help you recover quickly and return to the path of the cultivation..."
"This way, not only can I fulfill my duty to you, but also keep my promise to the Sect Master to take good care of you!"
"Isn't it good for us to each get what we need?"
By the end, Yuyan lowered her voice, calmly looking into Yino's eyes. Her beautiful eyes indeed contained tenderness and affection, but not completely. This feeling was worlds apart from the sincere confessions of Yunjin and Jinyue.
At this mont, Yino truly felt Yuyan's difference.
She wasn't a normal woman to begin with.
She was soone who had been toyed with by fate for half her life, extrely fragile ntally. On the outside she appeared cold and independent, but inside she was already on the verge of madness...
Just like in the ga, she ultimately developed a broken mind and distorted values.
Looking at it this way, it wasn't strange that Yuyan would do sothing like this.
"Indeed, this arrangent where we each get what we need without owing each other is quite good..."
After a long silence, Yino lowered his eyes sowhat dejectedly.
He felt he had really wronged Yuyan.
