Ash admitted that he lowered his guard at that mont. He shouldn’t have trusted the eagle who had an ankle ring. At this ti, Ash realized that the eagle with the ankle ring was actually the Tribal Chief! From that clue alone, Ash understood that the Tribal Chief had planned to catch him alive, and handed him to the Cultivator who wanted to enslave him!

The young ligress growled intensely. She didn’t particularly understand what happened. However, her instinct told her that this whole ordeal would be very bloody.
"Yinghui! Bring Shanguang out of here!"
"Understood, My Lord!" Ye Yinghui imdiately yanked the young ligress away.
"Hey! Put down! I am not done yet! Let go!"
"Not now, we must go."
After which, she used the [Tunneling] skill to escape from the mountain by digging a tunnel like a big mole.
"After them!"
As soon as the Tribal Chief shouted the order, dozens of Eagle Beasts as well as other bird-type beasts soared to the sky, following Ye Yinghui trail
"You coward!" Ash scread loudly. "Why did you give in? Why did you beco their pet?!"
"Why not?!" The Tribal Chief smirked, his sharp, sword-like eyes squinting upward. "You don’t know their strength, youngling. You think you could win against them?! Hah! Don’t make laugh! We are nothing but just a colony of ants before them."
"You give no choice!"
"Hmph! Arrogant fool! You are a dead at!"
The Tribal Chief stomped the soil three tis, activating the ankle ring, summoning the Ice Prison Formation Array. Ash sensed an imminent danger coming from the symbols that were sculpted on the trees. However, his body’s reaction ti couldn’t keep up with the Formation Array’s activation ti.
In just a fraction of second, he was already imprisoned inside an hellishly cold ice cage. Ash tried to break free from the ice cage, but his Pure Yang Qi was not hot enough to lt the ice.
"Hahaha!" The Tribal Chief laughed like a third rate villain. "You will never break free from this cage! Once I sold you to the Kunlun Sect, I’d receive a trendous amount of rewards, and this whole mountain range would eventually be mine, alone!"
Notwithstanding the frigid coldness that froze his bone marrow, Ash focused his energy into his feet, reversing the conversion law from Pure Yang Qi, into Primordial Qi which has a higher burning point.
Tribal Chief’s face began to lose its color by the ti Ash’s feet glowed bright red!
"No way! This is impossible! This Formation Array is rated for a Late Stage Sky Rank Immortal Beast! A re Early Stage Sky Rank Beast like you shouldn’t have the power to lt the cage!"
’Hmph! This pain is nothing compared to what uncle Tienxing had to endure to save my life!’
With that alone in mind, Ash converted every last drop of his Pure Yang Qi. He was determined to escape from it even if he had to burn his bones into ashes.

At last, he heard the ice bars begin to crack, and the cage eventually exploded into pieces!
Despite the burning sensation in both of his legs, Ash propelled himself toward Tribal Chief at neck breaking speed.

At a mont’s notice, the Bristleback Pangolin whose size was as big as a mountain boulder, jumped from the tree lines, rolling in the air before it launched an attack with its tail. For Ash, however, that kind of lousy attack was useless against him who mastered aerial battle.
Ash kicked the Bristleback multiple tis within one second, causing a severe dent on its scales, and launched it onto the treelines.
The Tribal Chief was beyond shocked upon witnessing the Phoenix’s raw power.
"Now, it’s your turn! You better be prepared!"

Tribal Chief flapped his wings as hard as he could, trying to flee the predicant.
"Sobody kill him! Kill him! Don’t let him get !"
Ash was even more pissed, seeing such a cowardice display made him want to cough his guts out!
Afterward, another two Bristleback Pangolins erged from their burrowing hole, shooting their sharp quills into his direction.
’These guys are stronger than the previous one!’
Knowing that he couldn’t possibly pierced their scales with arrows or Feather Swords Gather Array, Ash opted to summon the Crystal Sword which was forged by Ye Yinghui. The Crystal Sword imdiately ablazed in fiery Primordial Qi.
"You want to play rough?! Fine, let’s play! I will baptist this mountain in my Heavenly Fla of the Phoenix!"
What ca next towards the two Pangolins was a series of countless sword slashes, combined with a terrifying force of wind that could uproot the trees like grassess.

The two Pangolins were sliced into hundreds of pieces by the fiery hot Crystal Sword like knife slice through butter.
"You are next!"
Ash chased Tribal Chief into every corner of the mountain, spreading wildfire everywhere he went. At last, the Tribal Chief was caught by the falling burning tree. Without protection from any form of Qi barrier, his feathers were charred, and burning on their tips.
"Please, please... Don’t kill ! My allegiance is still for Lord Tianxing!"
Ash looked at him coldly despite the shadow of the flas reflected in his eyes. "Your death will beco a reminder for all beasts in this realm that no one can ss with ! Even the gods themselves!
Slash! Slash!
All of his limbs were decapitated in a consecutive precision. However, Ash was not done yet. He was still going strong after all that crazy movent while the Tribal Chief was already writhing in agony due to the burning wound.
"Die, you filthy coward!"
Ash’s usual calm and shy face was no longer. Replaced by a face that resembled that of an angel who gave this lowly creature a divine punishnt!
A while later, the whole mountain was engulfed in a sea of flas. Many cultivators ca to the scene to check out what had transpired to the mountain yet they couldn’t draw a conclusion about what kind of beast was able to cause such damage.
"This must be a Sky Rank Immortal Beast doing! I assure you!"
