Two hours passed when Chan Ci finally opened his eyes. He looked up at the small lizard girl standing there waiting for him patiently. He couldn't help but bow his head in respect to the girl for allowing him to finish his enlightennt even when she could have attacked him. "Thank you."
"It is nothing. One can only hope for such a mont. And you were able to grasp it, so it is only natural that I help you. However, I do suggest not doing that in front of others again. Not everyone is as nice as I am." i Ling replied with a smile.
"Haha! True!" Chan Ci smiled as he stood up and bowed to i Ling. "But still. Thank you."
"It's nothing. I am sure you wish to see how much stronger you have gotten. So shall we continue?" i Ling smiled as she jumped back and readied her sword. She really wanted to see how much of a difference Chan Ci would have after going through enlightennt.
"Let's continue!" Chan Ci yelled out while drawing his sword. His aura imdiately changed as she dashed towards i ling.
The sound of tal once more echoed across the battle stage. The two figures clashed here and there. But it was no different than before. i Ling pursed her lips as she looked at the young man as he struck down with his sword. "Is this all you have!?"
"Nope, just a warm up! Try this!" Chan Ci yelled out as the sounds of crackling could be heard coming from him. His sword, that was suddenly covered in lightning elent as he struck down at i Ling. This caused her to frown because she never thought he would infuse his lightning elent into his sword and attack with it.
i Ling's lips curled up into a wide grin showing her pearly white teeth as she swung her sword up to block his attack, but this ti she did sothing that Chan Ci would have never expected. Water ford around her sword, just above her blade as she swung up, discharging the lightning elent in his sword in an instant. Seeing the grinning face looking up at him, Chan Ci could only shake his head. He raised his hands and stepped back. "I give! I can't beat that!"
i Ling smiled and bowed her head slightly. "Thank you for the fight."
"No, thank you." Chan CI replied as he bowed once more before turning around and walking off the stage. He had planned to give up anyway, but this just made it easier.
He would never have thought that the little girl would be able to use the water elent. With such ease as well. She had used it to pass over his sword that was imbued with lighting to discharge the attack. If she wished to follow up, with her skills, she could have easily won, but instead, she gave him a cheeky smile. "I still have a long way to go!"
Chan Ci was grateful to i Ling. She did not defeat him in a way that would leave a wound on his path. She allowed him to see that he could still better himself and whether it was winning or losing, it did not matter as long as you can keep your life. It is what you gain from the battle.
Sect Master Tian watched as Chan Ci left the stage. He was actually impressed with Chan Ci's abilities. He jumped up on stage and looked at i Ling, who had been waiting for him, and smiled. "Winner i Ling!"
i Ling smiled and walked off the stage, and headed back to the waiting area in much higher sprites. "Little Aunty, you were amazing!" Sara ca running up and yelled out as she hugged Mie Ling.
"You can do just as good as I can." i Ling replied with red cheeks.
"Not like that. You used your elent just right." Sara was talking about the fact of how they all gained elents when they underwent the change in their blood. While Yana, Bell, and i Ling all have Kana and Creige's blood. Sara and Tim got Bell's blood after she was changed, giving them the sa elent as their mother.
"I only know that lightning will disperse and follow the flow of water, which was why I swung my sword with water elent at an angle to disperse the lightning away from myself and my opponent. I was only betting on it to work. Luckily, it did, or I could have lost." i Ling knew if she had ssed up even a little, the lightning could have easily stunned her making it her loss in the match. So, in reality, while it all seems simple for her, she was actually worried her actions were going to make her lose.
"Still…." Sara pursed her lips. Her Little Aunty was so smart for her age!
"What Sara said is right, Little Ling." Kana's voice entered everyone's ears. They all looked up to see Kana slowly floating down from the air. She landed right in front of i Lng and pulled her into a hug. "I am glad you have fun."
"Mama, are you not going to route f
or ? Why is only i Ling getting hugs?" Bell asked in a teasing voice. Kana turned and smiled brightly as she reached out her hand toward Bell. Bell pursed her lips and took her Mama's hand only to be pulled into her embrace. "I love all my daughters equally, there are no favorites."
"Oh right! Bell. I ca down here to warn you. I was told your next opponent is a bit strange. He has so nasty tricks. He is a poison cultivator and since it is his cultivation path it is allowed. Watch out for needles. They are his specialty and not a hidden weapon in this case." Kana had gotten this information from the poison sect's sect master. He was giving out information about his own disciple just to gain favor with Kana.
