The flying boat passed through a thick cloud bank to reveal a huge statue of a snake like dragon climbing up into the heavens. Situated on the peak of one of the continent's biggest mountains, a tall ten kiloter wide platform rose high into the sky. Around it, smaller platforms with stone seating were arranged around it, looking down on the main platform. And above all of this was one single floating platform that had specialized seating for all of the sect leaders. Off to the side was another wide platform for the flying boats to land on.
The flying boat from Moon Crest Academy slowly landed, allowing everyone to get off. Kana and her family stood together while waiting for the sect master to speak. "Everyone one is participating in the tournant will follow Lord Yong. Those who are here to watch will go with Elder Ning. Kana, you and your family, will co with ."
The sect master thought long and hard, and there was no way he could bring himself to actually make Kana and her family sit in the squashed seating of the viewer stands. He planned to bring her to the sect master seating area, which was much more spacious. He figured if anyone made a fuss, he could just bully them out of the way. He would rather keep Kana happy than care about if these old n are happy or not.
"Okay, Ako, Bell, look after Little Ling. If anyone bullies her, just get rid of them. But also be careful. There is no telling what sches these people might try to enact during this tournant just to win." Kana said as she hugged i Ling, Ako, Bell, Sara, and Tim. She did not want anything to happen to her family. It was the only ti she was willing to turn into a demon and kill without hesitation over the smallest issue.
"Mama, don't worry. Little Ling is also very strong, so I doubt anyone will dare to do anything to her." Bell said as she rubbed i Ling's head. i Ling blushed. Ever since she joined Kana's family, she had been getting head pats all day long. And sadly, it seed her body would no longer age either since she ford a chaos core. She will always look the sa age from here on out, which ans she will always be treated like a child in the eyes of her family.
"I know she is, but I just wanted to give a reminder. Do not trust anyone." Kana was worried about how kind her daughters were that they would fall for cheap tricks.
"Master, don't worry. I will deal with anyone who dares to target Bell, Little Ling, and your grandchildren." Ako said firmly.
"Okay. Then off you go. Follow Lord Yong's orders." Kana said as she waved her family mbers off and nodded to the sect master that they could now go.
Kana and her family flew up into the air, following the sect master to the highest seating platform that was solely for sect masters only. When they landed on the platform, all eyes turned on them. It did not take long for soone to co over and speak up. "Sect Master Jiahao, when did the rules of the tournant change that non sect masters could sit in this seating area?"
"Sect Master Bing, I think you need to watch your mouth before you are tossed to the ground below." The sect master replied in a calm but threatening tone. He did not want anyone to cause Kana to be angry.
"Sect master Jiahao, Sect Master Bing's words make sense. Not only did you bring people who are not sect masters here but also divine beasts. Are you planning sothing?" Another sect master walked over his large belly, rippling with every step he took. He wore golden robes and jewelry all over his body.
"Watch your tongue." The sect master yelled out.
"Hmmm… I see. These beasts are all very beautiful. How about this. You share them with us, and we…. AhhHH!!!!!!!!!" The fat sect master suddenly let out a blood curdling scream as a black fla engulfed his body.
"You want what with my family!?" Kana yelled out. "Rain, make another door ornant."
"Yes, Mama." Rain's eyes were cold. She had never felt so much disgust in her life. They did not need the disgusting sect master to finish speaking to know what he was going to say. The sect master shook his head. He wondered why these fools were so willing to open their mouths. Did they not notice the eerie atmosphere when Kana showed? Half of them have willingly stood up from their seats to make room for Kana.
Of course, sect master Bing did not seem to notice anything as he pointed his finger and yelled out: "What did you do!? Are you starting a war!?"
"A war?" Kana asked while tilting her head. An oppressive aura suddenly flooded out of her body, weighing down on all the sect masters. "Do I need to start a war?"
"Sect master Bing! " Another sect master with long white hair and beard hurried over. His brow was covered in sweat. He had been there when Kana wiped out all the devil cultivators. Even to this day, her angels, as she called them, were hunting down devil cultivators. He quickly bowed to Kana as he greeted her: "Your excellency, it is a pleasure to have you here at our dragon festival. We have prepared the best seats for you and your family mbers."
The sect master saw the old man and nodded his head as he thought to himself. 'This is the respect Kana deserves.'
Kana felt a little proud of herself when she saw how welcoming the others were, so she raised her head up high as she said: "I, thank you then. I only ca because my daughters are participating in the event."
Hearing these words from Kana was like lightning had struck a few of the sect masters. They all quickly sent out secret ssages to the mbers who were participating to have them cancel all plans they had for cheating. They did not dare cause any funny business in front of this scary lizard girl!
