Standing at the edge of the inner rim of the forest, Kana and Liu Na stepped forward, heading towards the area where rank two to four demonic beasts could be found. It was an area that was very dangerous, and if Kana and Liu Na were not careful, they could easily end up being killed.

As they walked deeper into this new area, Liu Na took out a few bottles of healing pills and a tal dal from her space pouch and handed it to Kana. "Just in case. If sothing happens and I die or we both get split from each other…"

"Are you that worried?" Kana asked. Liu Na had been acting strange all morning. She could tell Liu Na was worried about their safety. But this was sothing they both had to do in order to grow stronger. "You can go back if you want…"

"No! I just wanted to make sure you had so provisions, and the dal is yours, to begin with…" Liu Na hurriedly explained.

"Then, thanks." Kana smiled and put the items away before saying: "No matter what, Nana, we both must survive. While our days are ssed up here, the ti we will be here is very long for us. We have only been here a month which is nothing to the outside world. Our goal is to grow stronger. There is no one here to help us and no one here to judge us. If you feel like you are not strong enough, run away. But never give up if you feel like you have a chance. One thing I have learned is that true power is not easily obtained. One must have the resolve and courage to stand against the odds. Just like we did with the wine monkeys. We could have easily been killed, but not only did we gain their entire stock, I even got a few bonus cores because of it. We got good things because we took risks. "

"Mmm. No gains without risks, I know. No matter what, even if we do get split up, we will both survive and et up again." Liu Na nodded her head, agreeing with what Kana said. She was still worried, but her nerves finally cald. They were cultivators and needed to take risks in order to proceed on their path of cultivation.

But little did the two know that a few hours later, that them being split apart from each other was truly a work of fate. "Damnit! What is going on!?"

"Beast tide!" Liu Na yelled out.

The ground rumbled underfoot as the two girls ran for their lives. Behind the loud roars could be heard along with the sound of trees breaking as demonic beasts ran them over in a panic. But the biggest thing that scared the two girls was the massive monsters that could be seen in the distance fighting one another. "What the hell is that!?"

"Titan beasts! They are very rare, but titan beasts are as big as mountains and can destroy entire continents if they are on a rampage. It seems that the two are fighting over sothing." Liu Na answered as she pushed herself to the limit. She and Kana were both running as fast as she could. But she did not know that Kana was matching her pace with Liu Na. If she transford right now, she could easily outrun these demonic beasts, but she did not wish to leave Liu Na behind!

"Why did they pick today of all days to decide to fight!? And why are they near the inner rim!?" Kana yelled out in anger. She was mad! She wanted to break through, but now she had to run for her life!

As they continued to run ahead of the horde, a whistling sound could be heard overhead. The two girls looked up, and both their faces paled. Above them, a long skinny dark shadow was falling towards them. It was made of rock, dirt, trees, and other forest debris. It looked to be many kiloters long. Kana looked back and saw that it was cutting right through the beast wave, destroying everything it landed on, forest, demonic beasts, it didn't matter if it was in the way, it was crushed underneath!

"Sh*t!" Kana yelled out a curse and went to reach out to grab Liu Na to pull her towards her so they would not get separated, but Liu Na was in a panic and already bolted away in the opposite direction as Kana! "Damnit, Nana!"

As Kana yelled, she had no choice but to run in the opposite direction or risk being crushed by debris. Kana had no Idea what or how such a thing could occur, but it was. Knowing she was getting farther and farther away from Liu Na, Kana could only yell out: "Nana, you must survive!"

Kana transford into her dragon form and continued running ahead, but she could only go so far as more and more objects were hurled towards her. With all the dodging and direction changes, Kana had completely lost track of which way was which. Her main concern at this ti was not where she was going but trying to survive.

On Liu Na's side of things, she was no better off. With the raining debris and the demonic beasts running around frantically, she had no idea where she was either. She only knew that at this ti, she was really kicking herself, wanting to know why she ran away from Kana instead of towards her. She only rembered her mind went blank, her survival instincts kicked in and she could only run for her life. But now she was regretting panicking and not keeping a clear mind. She didn't realize her mistake until she heard Kana yelling her na and by then it was already too late… "Did our conversation earlier trigger so kind of bad karma!?" Liu Na whined as she kept running with everything she had.
