The next day Kana was getting ready to head to the Academy when a pool of water appeared in front of her. "Aoi, how is the investigation going?"
"We investigated the entire Dong family and only found one corrupt high god, which Naru and I took care of. We also diated a eting with the rest of their high gods." Aoi answered.
"That is good, but Aoi, what is all that screaming and yelling in the background?" Kana could hear people yelling: "Let out! We promise to behave! We will definitely submit!" In the background.
"Oh, that? We had a small eting not too long ago to make sure everyone was on the sa page." Aoi said proudly, raising her not to the air.
Kana did not know whether to laugh or cry. She really wondered how a eting between Aoi and the high gods turned into them begging to be released. She was going to ask what caused such a scene but decided to just leave it be. "Okay, so when is the eting?"
"Any ti you want. These old people are willing to lick your feet if you ask them to." Aoi said with a chuckle before turning around towards the old n and won she had stuck in her water prison spell. "Hey, you two! Cut that out! You're so old and still doing things like rabbits! Sorry, Kana, I have to go. So old fools are trying to dirty my water!"
Seeing the pool of water disappear, Kana only shook her head as she headed out the door. Today was her first real day at the academy, where she would be taking classes. So she was actually really excited about today.
Creige had already left earlier to take the girls to school, and after that, he planned to head to the new shop to continue getting things set up there. This left Eie at ho by herself. Kana already gave her permission to begin work on building the underground lab. Although she was small, the little butterfly still had the ability to use magic so she would be able to do the whole thing herself.
Just as Kana was about to walk through the academy gates, she heard screaming and yelling coming from the main yard of the academy. "Dandan, today you will get on your knees and lick my shoes clean whether you like it or not! That bitch is not here, so you have no one to protect you! Girls, hold her down!"
It seed Gisel really couldn't stand the fact that Dandan had one upped her thanks to Kana's intervention and wanted to imdiately get her face back as soon as she saw Dandan. However, she never expected Dandan to talk back to her even when Kana was not around.
"Don't get close to , I warning you!" Dandan yelled. Fear could be heard in her voice as it shook slightly as she tried to put up a tough front.
Kana smiled, hearing how Dandan was trying to stand up for herself finally. This made Kana happy to know her words did not fall on deaf ears. She walked into the main yard with a smile on her face. She watched as five girls charged at Dandan and how Dandan got into a fighting stance. She was about to intervene when sothing completely surprising happened. "Ahhh!"
Two girls were sent flying right out of the academy as Dandan grabbed them by the head and threw them out as if they were nothing at all. She tossed them as if she was tossing a baseball. She then spun her body around and punched another girl square in the face causing a loud cracking sound to be heard, and a gush of blood as the girl's face caved in. At this point, everything was silent. The girl didn't even get to scream before she instantly died. All the other girls halted their advances, even Gisel stared at Dandan in horror.
They were frozen in horror. How much strength did one need to have to crush a lower god's face in like that? It had to be known that lower gods were basically on par strength wise and only a few freaks can be considered above average, but even then, it would be hard to do what Dandan did just now. Dandan, on the other hand, had tears in her eyes. "I told you not to ss with ! I am not going to just deal with your sh*t anymore! Now, look at what you made do!"
Seeing Dandan in tears, Kana walked over to her and pulled the girl into her arms. Feeling the sudden warm embrace and familiar scent, Dandan broke down crying. "Kana, I did sothing bad! They will not let stay here any longer!"
"You did nothing wrong Dandan. They deserved it. By them sending so many people to attack you they were asking for sothing like this to happen. No one will kick you out of the school either nor will you have no place to go." Kana rubbed Dandan's back gently. as she turned to face Gisel. "Gisel Dawson did you not learn your lesson yesterday!?"
Kana was mad. They still attacked her friend even though she told them not to!? "I thought I made myself very clear that those who touch my people will not have a good end!"
A swirl of power surrounded Kana as her body slowly transford into her dragon form. The entire ground under her feet cracked and shattered as the pieces flowed up into the air. Her white hair with purple highlights fluttered about in the massive surge of her aura. The people around her all suddenly fell to their knees unwillingly due to the sudden heavy pressure on their bodies. "I let you off yesterday to give that old lady so face with just a broken wrist but you still did not heed my words!"
The grass under Kana's feet that was once a lush green suddenly began to wither away. This effect began to spread out in a circular radius around Kana slowly edging closer to the others who were stuck kneeling on the ground. This was what it ant to be the goddess of death. The one who ruled over death. Every being must bow in her presence.
