"Old Sa, you know about Stargazers?" Kana asked. She was a bit confused. Didn't stargazers co from a different dinsion?

"It's hard not to know. Kana, bring the little girl and your people. I will show you sothing." Old Sa said as he turned around and created a door of light in front of him. "This way."

Kana took Yana by the hand and walked through the gate of light. Fel and his crew also quickly followed. What Kana saw on the other side of the gate was an old village. It resembled that of an ancient Japanese or Chinese village from the warring states era. Even the architecture was similar.

Kana followed Old Sa as they walked to a small straw hut. That is what it looked like on the outside, but the inside was its own little dinsion. The inside was very spacious and gave off a peaceful, relaxed feeling. She was brought into a side room that had an old desk with a bunch of papers on top of it. Next to the desk were two globes. That looked very identical. "See these two globes?" Old Sa asked as he walked over to them. "One is purple while the other is the colors of this world. Well, the colorful one is our world, while the purple world is a dinsion that runs parallel to this world.

"In the ti when gods still road the land, way before the system ca to be, these two dinsions used to be one. But at so point, sohow, the world split into two different dinsions. This ans that so of the races that used to live on this world were pulled into this split due to them being more connected with that dinsion.

"Think of it like this. You take a fish and place it into a cup of water. The fish is happily swimming around. Now let's say you now take an identical glass and pour the water into the second glass but try to keep the fish in the original glass. Now this fish can no longer swim or breathe. In order to keep living, the fish would need to go to the other glass where the water is.

"Now let's say we took the sa two glasses, one with a rock and one with water, a fish, and rock. Instead of forcing the fish to stay, we poured the water and everything that relied on that water into the other glass. Now we would have the sa thing as we did before but reversed.

"This is what happened to quite a few races when this world split and ford a dinsion that ran parallel to it. The races that relied on a certain substance in the air split off into this new dinsion. All because the new dinsion had everything the old world had except the one substance that was poured into it.

"I know this is all confusing. It took many years to really grasp a full understanding of this, but this is the case that had happened. Even now, on this continent, there are remnants of so of these old races. One being the stargazers. From what I know, they needed a substance called stardust to use their power properly, or they will shorten their life span. But after the world split, the stargazers should have all rged into the new dinsion, so how?" Old Sa was generally confused about how and why Yana was in this world.

"Yana was kidnapped by a man who had a device that could enter the other dinsion. He visited it once, and a stargazer there told him so of his future. But he got greedy and wanted a stargazer for himself. He went back to the dinsion and kidnapped Yana, bringing her back here and destroying the device." Kana explained.

"I see… This poor girl. You must never let her use her ability. If she does, she is shortening her life span by almost five years…" Old Sa let out a sigh and turned to the young lady. "How many tis have you used your ability since you ca here?"

"Since I was old enough to rember ten tis, including the ti on the boat." Yana said softly.

Kana frowned and pulled the girl into a hug. "From now on, I forbid you from using your ability, okay?"

"Mmm…" Yana hugged Kana tightly. She felt warm and safe in Kana's arms.

"Sadly, this lass does not have a system, or she may be able to live a longer life. I can only think that if you can ascend and bring this lass with you to the realm of gods by sohow keeping the laws of the realm from attacking her. Then you can find a flower called the looming flower. It is very rare and has to be eaten within seconds of harvesting it. If she can eat one of those, then she can live another thousand years." Old Sa let out a sigh. This little girl had such a short life all because of so greedy bastard.

Kana thought for a mont and looked down at the little girl, and sighed. "I will see what I can do. If I can ascend quickly enough."

"Kana, if you do that… You, yourself, could end up being rejected by the realm of gods!" Old Sa did not understand why Kana would go to such lengths for a girl she barely knew.

"Does a mother need a reason to help her child?" Kana asked. Her question making not only Old Sa surprised, but even Yana.

"You will be my mama?" Yana asked, her eyes tearing up.

"Mmm… How could I leave such a cute little girl by herself? From now on, no more Mama Kana, just Mama from now on okay?" Kana said with a smile. Her eyes full of warmth as she looked at the little girl. After spending three months with her, Kana knew she had co to love this little girl as her own daughter. She would not abandon her now.

"Mama!"
