The moon was high in the sky as Kiliffia, Tai, and Dev gathered together in their small inn room, sitting on top of the bed. "So you got this from a human Captain?"
"Yeah. I am not sure if we should trust it or not. But if everything that is written there is correct…" Kiliffia did not even want to think of what would happen.
"We can only investigate it. To see if it is true." Dev let out a sigh. Even she was taken aback by the things written in this book.
"We did hear soone talking about a secret facility under the town, which can be confird here, but… What I do not get is how that man was able to tell we were beastkin…" This was sothing that really bothered Kiliffia more than the book itself. The man was able to tell they were beastkin even through these upgraded illusion rings.
"This I am not sure of unless they have a keen sense. Instead of getting animal features like more beastkin, he may have heightened senses that can even beat that of a fox or dog beastkin." Dev gave her thoughts. She was not so concerned about such things.
"Then Dev, what do you think we should do?" Tia asked.
"As I said, we will investigate. It will be hard, but unless we get evidence that such a thing is going on down there, we can not move. How it is done, I will leave that up to you two. I will need to rush back and hand this information in. Because this information also has places within our own territory that are being used as training grounds. But whatever you do, do not act unless you are sure you can get out safely." Dev was the fastest out of all of them and could get to the capital and back the quickest. But she also wanted the girls to be safe no matter what.
"We promise to not act unless we are sure it is safe." Safety was already Kiliffia's top priority. She did not want to be caught in human territory, especially since she knew what would happen to them if they did.
"Okay, then I am off. Be careful, girls." Dev said this before vanishing again.
Kiliffia and Tia sat on the bed in silence for a bit before Tia finally flopped over and rested her head in Kiliffia's lap. "Kili, what should we do?"
"We will stay low for a few days since we do not have much else to do. As of now, we know the location of the training facility, but we do not know how guarded it is or what kinds of defenses they have. Unfortunately, none of that was written in the book… I don't think that man was able to enter the facility himself and only had information by word of mouth." Kiliffia explained as she gently stroked Tia's hair.

"Uncle?" Yuthia called out as she entered Fox High God thiesee's office.
She looked over and saw Fox High God thiesee sitting back in his chair, his eyes closed. Seeing this, Yuthia had an inkling of what he was doing. "Don't tell … He actually used that skill!?"
"Why are you so loud?" Fox High God thiesee's eyes popped open, and his angry voice filled the room.
"Fugwah!" Yuthia let out a noise as she almost jumped out of her skin. "Uncle, can you not suddenly wake up like that!"
"Humph! You walked into my office without being allowed to, and you want to complain?" Fox High God thiesee sneered.
"I ca to give you a report, but from the looks of it, you already know most of it…" As Yuthia spoke, her words got quieter towards the end.
"Yeah, I had to give your future aunt sothing so she would not be in too much danger. The information I gathered and gave her is enough to help. Now she will have the trial of confirming it all. I even exposed her illusion ring so she will be even more careful than before. In order to not have her suspect anything, I even gave that man a back story before I made him disappear altogether." Fox High God thiesee said with a chuckle.
"I figured as much. But what concerns is not my future aunty right now, but the church. It seems that the pope is hiding sothing that even we of the realm of gods can not peek into. There seems to be so kind of barrier blocking us from seeing where his secret passage leads to and the energy creating that barrier gives sends chills down my spine." Yuthia explained.
"Hmm… He wouldn't be trying to open the gates to that place, would he?" Fox High God thiesee pondered for a mont before staring at Yuthia. "Yuthia, I have a job for you and Sei. Go call her here."
"Right away!" Yuthia quickly ran off to go get Sei.
"If my assumption is right, it seems a war far greater than that of two races will take place in the mortal world. Gods of all sides will have to make their way to the mortal realm to fight against them. Those beings of the devil realm will stop at nothing until they conquer and consu all living things between the mortal realm and the realm of gods." Fox High God thiesee said with a wrinkled brow.
Yuthia was quick in returning after she went to get Sei. The two girls stood before Fox High God thiesee awaiting his orders. "I want you two to descend to the mortal realm early and investigate what that pope is up to. Your powers will be bound to that of a demi god but I will also give you the ability to activate your normal powers if things get out of hand. Under no circumstances are you to enter any gates. If you co across a monster that you have never seen before, do not try to fight it head on. If I am right and I hope that I am wrong, the thing that the pope is engaged with is not sothing we can take lightly. So by no ans do not try to fight it. If you sense danger, get out of there quickly and guard your future aunt. Do you understand?"
