[Mass Release 4/5]
After a good rest, Kana and Mary stood in front of the towering tal doors and prepared themselves for the first encounter with a boss. "How much charge do you have left on your weapon?"
"Enough for about ten shots…" Mary frowned. She had used her weapon a lot during her training.
"How many arrows did you collect from goblins?" Kana knew sooner or later Mary's weapon would end up running out of power, so she had Mary pick up a few bows and as all the arrows she could.
"Because they stack in the inventory, I was able to collect three stacks, so about three thousand… Who knew goblins would have so many arrows on them…" Mary was quite surprised at how many she had since she had not been paying much attention.
"Then save what is left in your gun and use the arrows only. It might be slightly different from using the gun, but the principles should be the sa. Alright, are you ready?" Kana asked.
"Mmm… I will learn to use a bow as quickly as I can during this fight." Mary replied.
Kana nodded and pushed the door open enough for them to pass through. Her group of three entered the dark room. As soon as Mary, who was taking up the rear, passed through the door, the door slamd shut, and torches on the wall began to light up, filling the once dark room with light. What they were faced with was a tall figure with green skin who sat on a throne made of skulls. The tall figure was much bigger than Kana by at least ten tis. It looked no different from a goblin, except this one had bones piercing its nose and ears. And a few through the top of its forehead.
There was no way the huge figure was not the boss of this floor. Its black eyes looked at the two girls who entered the room as if it was staring holes into the deepest recesses of their souls. The figure rested its head on its hand, supporting it as it let out a yawn. "How long has it been since soone has co this far… And to think it's just a bunch of children. Either way, my duty is to guard this floor and not allow anyone to pass. So no matter what, you will die here today."
The boss goblin stood up and stretched its arms. It then bent down and picked up a large blade that was leaning against its throne. Seeing this blade caused Kana's eyes to glow. She wanted this goblins weapon!
"Alright, Mary, take up the rear. Let attack first before you begin to attack." Kana said before she suddenly transford into her dragon form. She did not have a proper weapon, and she didn't want to take any chances. She had better combat prowess dragon form, so she would make use of everything she had. She dug her claws into the floor, wiggled her big round red butt before dashing towards the goblin boss. Her speed was so quick that Mary was completely stunned. She realized during the fight at the base, Kana did not use her true strength!
"Impudent!"The goblin boss was enraged by Kana's action and quickly swung out with his sword. Just the swing alone was enough to cause a strong gale that swept across the room. Mary had no choice but to brace herself as the wind slamd into her.
Mary was smart and quickly took cover behind a pillar that was supporting the ceiling of the room. She watched as Kana suddenly appeared behind the goblin boss and smacked him in the head with her tail before reaching out with her front claws and slicing down with them. A stream of blood spurted out from the goblin boss's back as he let out a furious roar. "Damn ant! Face the power of the Goblin King!"
The goblin boss stabbed his sword into the ground. The whole room began to shake as pillars of rock shot up around the goblin boss, stabbing out in all directions except at the goblin boss himself. Kana had no choice but to retreat as the pillars of rocks appeared. She clicked her tongue and looked for an opening.
Mary took a deep breath and decided it was ti to take action herself. She went to raise her bow, but Aoi appeared next to her and stopped her. "Not yet. Wait until Kana gives us a sign. If you act now, you might gain the boss's aggression, and if that happens, no one will be able to help you."
Mary gritted her teeth. She wished she was stronger, so she did not need to be protected. She could only watch on right now and wait for Kana to say it was okay for her to join the fight. She watched as Kana used the pillars of rocks as a stepping stone to reach the goblin boss who was hiding within. But before she could reach them, her path would get blocked off by more rocks protruding out of the ones she was using as a stepping stone.
"Damn it. Let's try this then. [Fire Pillar]!" Five massive pillars of fire appeared from underground, destroying the rocky barrier the goblin boss created. The goblin boss quickly jumped away from the pillars of fire and stared at Kana with murderous intent in its eyes.
"Puny ant, you dare hurt !?" The goblin boss yelled out.
Kana chuckled as she yelled: "Your butts on fire!"
Kana was not just saying this. His butt was truly on fire! The edge of the goblin bosses clothes had indeed caught on fire! "Ahh! Despicable ant!" The goblin boss began jumping around patting his butt trying to put out the flas but the more he patted the more the flas spread!
"Looking good!" Kana yelled out. The flas had finally died down leaving the goblin boss in a horrible state. His two green butt cheeks were now fully exposed for the world to see.
