[Ding! Mission location is Guyoung, you have until the end of 29th of this month to complete the mission]

Qingran bit her lips, that was barely giving her 1 more day before the apocalypse.

"I guess there are chances of eting Feng Yizhou in Guyoung..."

[Host seems to think of Feng Yizhou alot.]

"..."

"I do not! It’s just a thought"

[Yeah...keep telling yourself that. Then what about the kid? It’s quite a long mission, do you want to leave him here?]

"No, we’ll co along with . There are better mission tasks in Guyoung. As for the training plan, I get Anya to do it since she knows the kids and since the competition is this month I’m sure they’ll be eager to train under her. Then I’ll also get Anya to send so stuff to Shiyue. I’m going to owe her big ti."

[Well you’re leaving quite a lot in her hands. Can she handle it?]

Qingran crossed her arms slightly, she believed Anya could handle it. She had quite the survival instinct.

"I’m sure she can. I’m going to book a flight, using the fake identity I used in the casino in Xi’an. I’m sure Haoyu can use his regular identity. Does he have passport? Let ask him, better to start preparing beforehand .."

[Hey you got a passport?]

Haoyu received the ssage, as he was planning to jog back to the apartnt.

[Yeah. But it’s back at my old house. We going sowhere?]

[Yeah, go get it and say goodbye to your boyfriend.]

"..."

[Hes not my boyfriend!] the reply ca as quickly as she sent the ssage.

[Ah sure.]

Haoyu hissed as he hailed a cab, is place was quite far, he didn’t want to jog all the way there.

Qingran took her ti to send a ssage to Anya, but complained a bit before agreeing. Seeing as Qingran was about to leave B city.

"I think clothes are cheaper in Guyoung. I’ll do a clothing haul and get so tea and coffee stock as well.."

[Ding! Host should get so heat resistant, cold resistant clothes, socks and gloves, scarves, mitten and boots. You should get a range of small to large, as there will be different body types.]

"Just how many are we getting for each size, I have no idea how many people I’m going to take in. I guess I’ll take the amount of people as the amount of resources. I have no intention on of saving everyone, once the quota is filled, no one else is coming in."

[Ah..spoken like a true villainess. Good idea, because you can’t save everyone. Maybe 10 pairs a size for maybe 100 people...]

Qingran nodded to herself as she continued to ntally prepare for the mission ahead. She was glad to have the system’s input, but at the sa ti, it was reminding her of the cold truth—she couldn’t save everyone, she didn’t have to, it was embedded in humans for them to betray once they found the situation unfavorable.

So should she take everyone in? She was also human and sa people she risked her life to protect had killed her. Sighing she decided to keep the thoughts behind her and focus on the task at hand.

"Ten pairs a size, 100 people... That should be enough," she muttered. "I’ll just have to make sure I’m very careful about who I bring in."

[Are you sure you want to stick to that number? It might not be enough if the situation becos chaotic.]

Qingran frowned slightly. "If more people show up than I can handle, they’re not getting in. That’s the bottom line. I won’t risk what I’ve worked for."

[Ding already. Rember 10 pair each size, heat resistant, cold resistant and easy to move in.]

"Yes I got it."

Qingran replied as she stood up, she moved a flight to Guyoung for her and Haoyu and then headed to her room to pack her bag.

[I can’t say this enough Host. Guyoung is dangerous, you have to protect yourself well. You might die there before the apocalypse even starts.]

Qingran expression turned grave, seems like what she was going to face in Guyoung would be grave.

"Alright. I got it. These elite mbers...how am I going to find them?"

[I believe you’ve t two but you won’t know them until their identities are reveal. They’ll be the first mbers of the team you’ll et again.]

"I see. I’ll take note of distinctive features. Now how close is Haoyu?"

[Just around the corner.]

She closed the bag and looked around her room. She couldn’t afford to get distracted. Guyoung was on a tight tiline, and she needed to stay focused on what was in front of her, not whatever hidden dangers the future might hold.

The system’s warnings were starting to weigh heavily on her mind.

Lingquan chid again. [Are you going to make 100 your quota?]

Qingran thought for a while and shook her head, she knew she would still let more people in later on.

"No it’s easy, let’s see the amount of people fate will bring in this ti."

[Got it. For a anti-hero, you’re quite nice, maybe you can put the betrayal behind you.]

".."

"Never, I’ll never put it behind until I kill those who killed , I know very they’re pop up once the apocalypse starts and I’m going to repay every single thing they did to ."

The words hung in the air, heavy with intent. Qingran’s grip on her bag tightened as the reality of her vow settled in. The people who betrayed her were still out there, and the countdown to the apocalypse was ticking. It would all unfold soon, and she would be ready to make them pay.

The system, sensing her resolve, stayed silent for a mont before responding.

[Host, you may find yourself needing allies in the future. Be careful not to let revenge cloud your judgnt.]

Qingran rolled her shoulders, trying to shake off the tension. The system’s warnings were useful, but she had her own plan. She couldn’t forget what was done to her, and she certainly wasn’t going to forgive those who caused her downfall. But that didn’t an she couldn’t be smart about it.

"I know what I’m doing," she muttered to herself. "I’ll use whatever allies I can find, but when the ti cos, it will be who delivers the final blow."

[Understood.]

Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of footsteps outside her door. She straightened up, snapping out of her reverie. Haoyu had arrived.

As she opened the door, Haoyu stepped in, holding his passport in hand. His expression was a mix of exhaustion and determination, his usual playful deanor absent.
