Celitia had originally wanted to gently and carefully move Ariel onto the bed.

But she ended up making such a commotion—she hoped she hadn't bumped or hurt her anywhere.

Moreover, despite all this fuss, Ariel hadn't woken up. She really slept more soundly than a pig!

After ntally complaining frantically for a while, looking at that sleeping face on the bed, Celitia's expression gradually beca strange.

It was really hard to imagine.

Whether it was her forr self or Ariel, people like them had very high vigilance.

No matter how exhausted they were or how deeply they slept, the slightest disturbance would be enough to wake them and allow them to respond in ti.

During the process of moving Ariel onto the bed, she had even worked up a sweat.

Yet Ariel hadn't woken up and continued sleeping so soundly.

It was too incredible.

Facing her, she was actually...

...so unguarded?

With Ariel in her current state, even soone as powerless as herself could kill her at any ti.

Celitia's gaze beca increasingly complex.

She slowly extended her hand, approaching Ariel's neck.

But she only pulled up the blanket and gently tucked in the corners for her.

Standing up again and looking down at the still-sleeping Ariel, Celitia sighed softly:

"Well then, rest well."

Carefully closing the bedroom door, Celitia walked outside.

Shanie happened to be carrying a bowl of steaming hot dicine toward the bedroom. Seeing this, she imdiately rushed over and blocked Celitia's path.

"Why did you get up, Lily? Go back and continue resting!"

"I'm already fine."

Celitia helplessly patted her own forehead. "Look, after sleeping, I don't have a fever anymore."

"Really? You recovered so quickly?" Shanie didn't quite believe it.

Celitia looked at her with a deadpan expression.

Although she got sick easily, this body did recover quickly too.

Speaking of which, was her credibility really this low in their minds?

Shanie held the scalding dicine bowl with both hands and couldn't free them up.

So she moved close to Celitia, stretched out her neck, and touched Celitia's forehead with her own.

"It really doesn't seem to be hot anymore," Shanie muttered to herself in confusion. "You recovered quite quickly?"

Celitia sighed: "Yes, I wouldn't joke about my own body."

"I don't care!" Shanie forcibly pushed the dicine bowl into Celitia's hands. "The dicine is already prepared, you must drink it!"

"Since my fever has broken, why do I still need to drink dicine?" Celitia didn't want to take it.

Shanie retorted: "The doctor said that just because the fever breaks doesn't an you're cured, so you definitely must drink it!"

Celitia had no choice but to accept the dicine bowl and began drinking it sip by sip.

The dicine bowl in her hands was scalding hot, but when the dicinal soup entered her mouth, the temperature was just right.

The more Celitia drank, the more she felt sothing was wrong.

Why did this stuff seem particularly bitter?

Even she, who had almost no sense of taste, could taste that bitter flavor.

After finishing the dicine, Celitia's face scrunched up as she shoved the dicine bowl back into Shanie's hands.

"What did you put in the dicine? Why is it so bitter??"

Could it be that she was dissatisfied with her falling ill, so she added so particularly bitter ingredients to deliberately tornt her?

Having taste was a good thing, but couldn't it be sothing other than bitter?

"I didn't put anything in it?"

Shanie looked down in confusion at the empty dicine bowl in her hands.

Suddenly, her eyes lit up with surprised delight:

"Wait, if you can taste the bitterness, does that an your sense of taste has recovered?"

Celitia froze, touched her mouth, and fell into thought.

Speaking of it, indeed...

Recently, she seed to be gradually able to taste things a little.

But considering her health, the family had always cooked rather blandly, so Celitia hadn't really noticed.

Until she drank this bowl of dicine...

When did it start slowly recovering?

Celitia tried desperately to rember but couldn't quite recall.

If she had to say, probably—after the incident at that ball?

Originally losing her sense of taste was due to the influence of the "curse."

So after receiving the Goddess's mark and fully accepting the dark matter energy's transformation of her body, her sense of taste began gradually recovering?

Especially after this dreamscape incident, it had recovered to a degree she could perceive.

Celitia didn't know for a mont whether this was good or bad.

Shanie hugged the dicine bowl and happily pulled Celitia toward the living room.

"There's lots of delicious food prepared outside. Co try it all and see if you've really recovered!"

"I haven't washed up yet..."

"Oh honestly," Shanie was more anxious than she was, "what's more important—washing up or your sense of taste?"

After so pulling and tugging, Celitia finally managed to rinse her mouth. When she returned, she saw snacks piled up like a small mountain.

Shanie energetically beckoned her: "Quick, quick, quick! Which one should you start with?"

Celitia had no choice but to pick up a piece of baked cookie and take a bite.

The sweet fragrance of milk and wheat fernted in her mouth, and Celitia confird once again that her sense of taste had indeed recovered sowhat.

Although it hadn't completely returned to its original state, it should have recovered to about half.

The feeling of being able to taste things was really wonderful.

Plus, having eaten almost nothing last night, Celitia felt her stomach growling with hunger.

Once her appetite kicked in, she ate piece after piece, consuming most of the snacks Shanie had prepared.

Shanie propped up her face, watching her with a smile: "There's another piece of good news. Do you want to hear it?"

"What good news?" Celitia asked with her mouth full of food, speaking unclearly.

"Teacher has co back. When I went to buy dicine, I happened to pass by his house, and if I heard correctly, there's definitely soone inside!"

Celitia froze and slowly put down the cookie in her hand.

"Didn't you really want to see him?" Shanie continued. "Perfect timing—get ready and we'll go visit Teacher, before he runs off again who knows when!"

Celitia's mood suddenly beca complex.

Before she could react, her head had already nodded lightly twice on its own.

Celitia thought to herself that she just wanted to see him once, to confirm that her teacher was well, and she would be satisfied.

When Celitia finished changing clothes and was ready to go out, Shanie was already waiting at the door.

"Where's Benita?" Celitia asked. "Is she going?"

"She's still sleeping." Shanie shrugged. "Last night, Benita insisted on staying by your bedside and went to rest very late, so she still hasn't gotten up. I told her that while you were fine, she might exhaust herself instead. Unfortunately, she wouldn't listen—no amount of persuasion could move her..."

"I see..." Celitia sighed.
