Pierre hastily pushed open the door to the rest room, sporting two dark circles under his eyes, his face full of excitent.

"After dawn, the monk responsible for morning cleaning discovered her. No one would have thought that Miss Kassy was just sitting by the fountain in the square!"

"Just sitting by the fountain?" Ariel stared in disbelief. "You didn't discover her until morning—are you all useless?"

Pierre had co happily to report good news, only to receive another scolding from his superior, making him feel extrely wronged:

"Of course we searched there. Maybe Miss Kassy only ran over there when dawn was approaching?"

Ariel was too lazy to listen to his excuses: "Bring Kassy here—no, actually, take to see her."

Sophia quickly said: "I'm going too!"

Celitia silently sat up on the bed and threw off the covers.

She had to admit that the purification ritual Ariel had prepared was very effective.

Celitia even felt that her condition was better than usual.

Seeing this, Sophia hurried over to help her: "Is your body alright, Lily? Why don't you sleep a bit more?"

"I'm fine," Celitia shook her head. "I'm also very curious about what exactly Kassy was doing last night."

If she really wanted to escape, why co back?

Celitia felt she was starting to be unable to guess what Kassy was thinking.

"Then let's go together," Ariel said.

At this mont, Kassy was sitting woodenly on a bench in the small chapel, staring blankly at the goddess painting hanging in front.

A series of footsteps sounded from outside, and the door to the small chapel was opened. Kassy's whole body unconsciously trembled, and she turned around in confusion.

Seeing clearly who had entered, Kassy's eyes held only Celitia in the center.

"Master!"

Kassy suddenly stood up from the bench, taking two steps at once, rushing to Celitia's front with arms spread wide, about to reach out and hug her.

"Master! You must save !!"

Ariel at the front instinctively stepped in front of Celitia, blocking Kassy's movent.

"What are you doing?" Ariel spoke sternly and harshly, scolding Kassy without courtesy. "Go sit over there!"

Pierre hurried forward, grabbing Kassy's clothes and pressing her down on the bench.

"When we found Miss Kassy, she was already like this—her spirit has been sowhat confused the whole ti, and she still hasn't recovered."

He hurriedly explained to Ariel and the others, "Perhaps, Saintess, you should let Miss Kassy rest for a while, and after she recovers, you can co talk to her?"

Ariel remained noncommittal, only glancing at Pierre lightly before her gaze fell on Kassy.

"What's wrong with you?" Ariel asked. "Is there sothing you want to say?"

"...I..."

At this mont, Kassy finally ca to her senses sowhat.

Confused fear rising in her eyes, Kassy shook her head forcefully and said tremblingly: "I... I don't rember anything..."

"You used this excuse last ti too," Ariel sneered. "Can't you co up with a different one this ti?"

"It's true! Master, Your Highness Sophia, Saintess, you must believe !!"

Kassy held her head with both hands, panic written all over her expression.

"I can't rember anything at all. I just feel like I experienced sothing very terrifying..."

"Really?"

Celitia spoke quietly, staring intently at Kassy, not missing a single detail of the expression on her face.

"Really! Everything I'm saying is true!! Master, you must believe , you must save . I don't want to die, and I don't want to go crazy..."

Kassy said tremblingly, tears filling her eyes and falling drop by drop.

This ti, Celitia felt that Kassy didn't seem to be lying.

She sighed: "Let Kassy rest well for a while. When she recovers, we'll ask her again."

Sophia said: "Then please, Mr. Pierre, watch Kassy carefully and don't let her have another chance to escape."

Pierre raised one hand: "I swear to the goddess that this ti I will definitely watch her closely!"

"Whatever," Celitia actually felt indifferent. "If she really wanted to escape, she shouldn't have co back."

Ariel commanded in a low voice: "Take Kassy to rest, watch her closely, and don't let her leave the church for the next few days."

As Kassy was led away by Pierre, the three people in the small chapel fell into wordless silence.

"Have you seen Kassy in this condition before?" Ariel asked.

Sophia didn't answer, her gaze falling on Celitia.

Celitia shook her head: "I don't know either."

Seeing that neither had any clues, Ariel couldn't help feeling irritated and confused.

"Forget it. For now, we can only observe for a while longer and see if she can recover her mory."

Ariel pressed her forehead with a headache. "I have other things to attend to. You should rest for now, and if Sophia has business, return to the palace quickly."

With that, Ariel left in her usual hurried manner.

Sophia's schedule for today was indeed packed, but she didn't leave imdiately.

After hesitating for a long ti, Sophia finally carefully reached out her hand and cupped Celitia's hand.

Celitia trembled slightly, her palm curling slightly, but ultimately didn't shake off Sophia's hand.

Sophia beca bolder, interlacing their fingers.

"I'm sorry, Lily. I clearly promised you that I would definitely stay by your side when you were feeling worst."

Celitia smiled faintly: "Aren't you here now?"

"But I ca back late... because I was delayed by so matters..."

Sophia had originally thought that being a little bit late wouldn't be a problem, but who knew she would encounter an unexpected situation.

Was it because between court duties and Celitia, she had chosen to prioritize handling affairs?

Was this... the goddess's punishnt for her...

"It's fine," Celitia slowly shook her head. "You have things you should do—that's a good thing. If no matter what happened, you always prioritized , I wouldn't feel happy about it. Besides, things didn't develop in a bad direction. You have absolutely no need to feel guilty about this."

Sophia silently lowered her eyes.

Celitia was indeed like this.

In her heart, many, many things were more important than herself.

Even when dealing with others, she never demanded that people put her in the most important position in their hearts.

She was always so gentle, which made it all the more heartbreaking.

"I just heard Ariel say," Celitia continued, "that you entrusted my matter to her. Is that right?"

"Do you mind?" Sophia beca a bit nervous. "Ariel is the most suitable person I could think of."

Celitia asked: "Do you trust her?"

"You should know about the relationship between Ariel and ."

Sophia nodded reluctantly, very unwilling but helpless.

"Although I always fight with her and really hate how she bosses around, always wanting to interfere with and control in every aspect. But no matter what, she's still my sister. If there's anyone in the church who can be trusted, it's only her."

Celitia felt a mont of confusion.

She had once had a blood relative too, but later, for so unknown reason, they had gradually grown apart.

Her sister, Ileana.

Since coming to the academy, Celitia hadn't concerned herself with affairs of the Kingdom of York for a long ti.

How was Ileana doing now?

"Lily? What's wrong?"

Seeing Celitia suddenly beco absent-minded, Sophia couldn't help but call her na nervously.

"It's nothing."

Celitia ca back to her senses and smiled gently at Sophia, warm and firm.

"You trust Ariel, and I... trust you."
