?As the center field of the defensive lines was handled by Nancy's ticulous tactics and the far West being dealt with by Benedict and Samantha, the East defensive lines were handled by Phoebe and Theobold.

Compared to the West field, which seed to have smaller numbers compared to the East field, Phoebe found herself being overwheld by the Gilaso variants.

"Commander Phoebe, our bullets aren't doing much damage to the Gilaso variants. So of them are bigger in size and seem to be tanking the bullets for the smaller and agile ones." A soldier rushed ahead and inford Phoebe of the unusual circumstances.

The Gilaso variant that they are attempting to defend had their body size varied.

So were imnsely big in the size of a bear, and they were rushing in the very front, deflecting the bullets from their soldiers that tried to take out the smaller-sized ones.

Phoebe observed the field, her brow furrowed as she assessed the situation. The larger Gilaso variants acted as shields for the smaller, more agile creatures, making it difficult for the soldiers to tackle the threat effectively.

'Hmm, so they developed so sort of intelligence huh.' Phoebe exclaid inwardly. However, the intelligence was only so-so, given Phoebe was already able to detect many flaws in this supposed formation of the Gilaso variants.

"Since these smaller ones think they are safe because of the big ones, then let them believe it." She snickered coldly.

"Relay my orders, drench these lovely creatures with the highly flammable oils using the modified guns." Phoebe then ordered the soldiers to switch their arsenal.

"Yes, Commander Phoebe!"

The soldiers soon changed their weaponry, going from firing bullets to firing flammable oils. The battlefield and the Gilaso variants were soon drenched in the flammable oils.

As the oils drenched their bodies, the Gilaso variants seed to be confused by the oil, clearly not understanding its features.

Phoebe gazed from afar and concluded that the Gilaso variants might have ford so intelligence, but it was only very minimal and not enough to comprehend the situation.

'Luckily, they aren't that intelligent yet, otherwise, who knows how many losses we would have.' Phoebe thought to herself.

"Commander Phoebe, we have drenched the field and the enemies with the flammable oils," A soldier arrived and inford her.

Phoebe nodded her head. She stepped forward and announced, "All fire elent Magus listen up. Go and burn them to a crisp!"

"Yes, Commander Phoebe!" The soldiers with fire elent Magus skills shouted in unison.

As the fire elent Magus soldiers responded to Phoebe's command, the air began to crackle with power, a crescendo of fiery energy building around the creatures.

With synchronized precision, the Magus soldiers conjured their abilities, each releasing torrents of searing flas.

The field erupted into an inferno, a blaze of scorching heat that enveloped the coated Gilaso variants. Their howls and shrieks rged into a cacophony of tornt as the fire gnawed away at their flesh.

Phoebe observed the unfolding chaos with a sense of cold satisfaction. The creatures, now ablaze, flail wildly in agony, their shield-like larger counterparts failing to protect them against the inferno.

The heat of the flas blistered the air, scorching everything it touched, leaving a sickening stench of burning flesh. The once intimidating Gilaso variants now writhed helplessly amidst the flas, their size, and strength rendered aningless against the devastating power of fire.

"Keep the flas steady, and shoot anyone that escaped from the fire!" Phoebe shouted, ensuring the soldiers maintained the intense flas to thoroughly quell the threat.

As for the lucky Gilaso variant that managed to escape from the scorching hell, they were greeted with a round of bullets that easily penetrated their burned skins.

These flammable oils weren't ordinary and were capable of reaching a high temperature higher than a volcano eruption.

So what if their skins are tough?

Could they withstand a heat that was stronger than a volcano eruption?

Maybe if they were stronger, then probably, but unfortunately for this case, these Gilaso variants were at best D-grade monsters. If it wasn't for their large quantities and venomous attacks, then they wouldn't even be qualified as a threat to Gearits City.

Waiting for a few more minutes, the flas danced and roared, scorching the creatures, causing them to stagger, trip, and eventually succumb to the rciless blaze.

The battlefield, once occupied by the fearso Gilaso variants, was now a charred landscape, littered with the remains of the defeated creatures.

However, Phoebe didn't dare to relax a bit, given that reports of more incoming Gilaso variants were arriving soon.

"How many more flammable oil reserves do we have left?" Phoebe turned to a soldier and asked swiftly.

"We still have around 20 gallons of flammable oil left." The soldier quickly reported.

"And how much did we just spend?"

"About 9 gallons."

"9 gallons huh… a bit more than I've estimated." Phoebe knitted her brows and mumbled, seemingly in contemplation. The flammable oils in their reserve were dwindling fast, and she knew it wasn't a long-term strategy to confront the Gilaso variants.

These flammable oils were produced to create a deadly scorching rate when t with fire, making them extrely scarce compared to normal cooking oil.

'Ugh, this is all Theobold's fault for wanting to ensnare Damon. If it wasn't for that, then how could the Gilaso variants nearly quadruple their original numbers?' Phoebe cursed silently.

As Phoebe was deep in thought, the soldier asked nervously, "Do we use more flammable oils, Commander Phoebe?"

Phoebe pondered for a bit longer before shaking her head. "No need, wasting it more wouldn't be beneficial for us anyway."

"Understood!" The soldier was ready to leave to return to his post until Phoebe stopped him.

"Wait a second," Phoebe called out.

"Tell the soldiers to begin to deviate a path, using the remaining oil in the field so that the Gilaso variants will be deterred to Theobold's side. But make sure to do it discreetly, and use the pretext of rescuing the injured soldiers."

She then said in a low but subtle tone, seemingly emphasizing their actions need to remain a secret.
