Chapter 1457: Striving for a Good Performance

No matter how fast Qiao Nan rushed, she could only make herself half an hour late.
Worried that the children couldn’t wait and would head ho themselves first, Qiao Nan sent a short ssage to the children’s headmaster, Teacher Yu, when she went to the washroom. Thankfully, the three children were in the sa class. Otherwise, Qiao Nan would have to send out similar ssages thrice.

Everyone in the office took Qiao Nan’s speed seriously. When Qiao Nan finished organizing the information on her hands and wanted to key them into her computer, the crisp sound of typing with the keyboard could be heard. In the quiet office, this sounded even stranger and more attractive.
Xu Xinming and Li Dawei looked at each other. This was the first ti they saw Qiao Nan using a computer. They didn’t know that Qiao Nan could type so quickly and she pretty much didn’t need to look at the keyboard. From her typing speed and frequency, it was obvious that an average clerk couldn’t be compared to Qiao Nan.
They turned back and thought about how they always stumbled in their typing and couldn’t type much content in an hour. Xu Xinming’s and Li Dawei’s faces tightened. It was rare for them to be stunned at Qiao Nan’s all-rounded ability.
After finishing her work, Qiao Nan hurriedly picked up her bag and was ready to leave to pick up the children.
However, Li Dawei blocked Qiao Nan’s way when she just stood up and walked a few steps. Qiao Nan’s facial expression imdiately turned ugly. “I’m sorry. Please get out of the way. My children are already out of school, so I have to hurry and pick them up.” When the 27-year-old Qiao Nan was in the unit, not only could she generously ntion that she was already a married woman, but she could also bring up the fact that she had children.
Li Dawei blushed and looked at this girl who was younger than her. Her face was like a blooming flower, and she looked younger than a female university student.
Li Dawei wasn’t young anymore. Although he was unmarried, he never stopped having girlfriends. The first ti he entered the ministry, he was surprised by Qiao Nan’s looks. He felt lucky that not only was there a female in the departnt, but more importantly, this female was so pretty.

It could be said that Li Dawei had made a big joke the mont he entered the ministry. Even if no one should know about this, he would, at the very most, just look at Qiao Nan a while longer if he felt his heart wavering. He had never pursued Qiao Nan and didn’t confess to her before. After sorting out his thoughts, Li Dawei chose to completely forget the incident that happened on his first day of work.
Who knew that Qiao Nan would suddenly reply in such a manner? Even if Qiao Nan didn’t an it, Li Dawei felt uncomfortable in his heart that Qiao Nan ntioned she was going to the school to pick up her children. He felt that Qiao Nan was being sarcastic to him. “Qiao Nan, everyone is still busy working. It’s not too good if you leave first, right? Our departnt is a very united place. Since you do it fast, why don’t you help everyone out?”
Most importantly, Li Dawei had too many things on his hands and couldn’t complete them.
Even if he was willing to work overti today, he couldn’t complete the task. As soon as he was at work tomorrow, he would have to continue doing the work from the day before. Li Dawei didn’t want to do such hard work. Anyway, Qiao Nan had already completed hers. Nothing was wrong if she helped everyone shoulder a little bit of work so that everyone could complete the task as soon as possible.

Sure, she could help. However, who was going to help her pick up the triplets?
“Okay, you don’t have to tell anything. Let make this clear. Before your arrival, our ministry had never encountered such a ss before. Everyone has their own workload. We should be maintaining the work attitude of each performing its own functions. We can only improve the ministry’s operations if we complete our own tasks. I’ll give you a suggestion. If you really want to strengthen the ministry’s unity, as long as you do sothing well, I believe our ministry will beco more united.”
Knowing that Li Dawei wasn’t soone who gave up easily, Qiao Nan interrupted Li Dawei and didn’t give him a chance to speak. Since she gave him face and he didn’t want it, Qiao Nan felt that there wasn’t a need to give Li Dawei any face anymore. “You and Xu Xinming have already joined the ministry for a period of ti. Back when Deng Wenchang and I joined the ministry, we practically didn’t have the sa kind of performance as the both of you. I feel that if you could improve your personal capabilities and not cause others trouble, I believe that without your other efforts, our departnt would definitely not be disunited.”
At this point in ti, Qiao Nan’s patience for Li Dawei broke.
She didn’t understand. Li Dawei obviously knew what his shortcomings were. Why didn’t he try to improve himself but engage in such cheap tricks every day instead? Did water enter his brain? Did he really think that the ministry purely relied on brains to get things done and emotional intelligence to improve relationships with others?
“Do you understand?” After Qiao Nan said these, Li Dawei didn’t reply for a long ti. “Seeing at how moved you look, needless to say, you have must have understood it and are feeling ashad.
