Chapter 982: Chapter 955: Co on, Let’s Trick Each Other Chapter 982: Chapter 955: Co on, Let’s Trick Each Other “`

Old Fox… she had let him take all the advantages, and now he wanted to ask for a favor from her? Kiara lowered her eyes, scheming in her heart.

“I don’t mind being an external support, leader, but there’s one condition: I want to choose the work content myself.”

“Oh?”

“You said it yourself, to give us spouses more ti together, so I need to match my husband’s work. With all the different types of large projects you have, I want to choose for myself. It definitely has to be sothing that’s very close to what my husband is currently working on.”

Wasn’t it a trap for Mrs. Kiara to jump into? Mrs. Kiara skillfully used the leader’s words to dig a hole in return.

This caught the leader off guard for a mont. The closest to Mario Yuno’s work would certainly be the psychological analysis group within the special action team, assisting with the analysis of major cases and such.

The problem is that departnt rarely needs external support, as they already have a psychological group responsible for these tasks. Suddenly parachuting in an external support, wouldn’t it make the rest of the group have thoughts?

He had initially wanted to trick this clever little girl by having her give a few free psychological seminars at the workplace and also wanted the psychological interference group to exchange ideas with her for mutual progress. Of course, the leader had deeper and long-term plans in his mind, which he couldn’t reveal just yet.

But this clever girl had smoothly dug a hole for him, and used his own words to block him, leaving him with nothing to say.

At any ti, she always found a powerful point that placed her in an invincible position.

If the leader said it was inconvenient, then she could just push it away smoothly, while indirectly slapping his face without anyone noticing.

If the leader agreed, she would land an easy job and, at the sa ti, get more chances to spend with her husband.

For Kiara herself, whether he agreed or not, she would not lose out. If he did agree and she got access to so cases that she rarely encountered, it would be a learning experience for her.

The leader, caught in a dilemma by her, could only grit his teeth.

“I’ll send a word, and you can go once you get back.”

Kiara, seeing the leader’s clearly wounded yet forcibly composed expression, made a victory sign in her heart, oh, yes!

The Old Fox thought he could plot against her, but Mrs. Kiara, following the principle of not taking advantage herself but blocking the other party, managed to disgust the leader. The result was quite satisfying.

After Kiara moved on to toast at another table, the leader said to Mr. Yuno, “Where did you find such a daughter-in-law?”

At this level, almost no diocrity could be seen; everyone was sharp. But to be as shrewd as Kiara, gentle enough to make one willingly fall into her trap, that was indeed rare. What’s more precious was just how young this girl was?

Mr. Yuno was quite proud, “Envious, huh? Ha-ha, too bad my daughter-in-law is an only child; I have no sisters to introduce to your son. ‘Each generation has its own blessings,’ let’s drink!”

The leader drank, but his mind was swirling with thoughts. He took the opportunity as Mr. Yuno went to another table to get up and head sowhere private to make a phone call.

“Old buddy, that thing you wanted to do, I didn’t quite manage it. That girl is too wily. I did as you said and tried to get her to do a seminar. She turned the tables on completely, this matter…”

After he described how Kiara had tricked him, the other party laughed heartily.

“Good, really good. She managed to trap you at such a young age; this girl definitely has a promising future. And the most impressive one is still Professor Joel, who could actually predict this girl’s reaction. I look forward to the sparks these two will create in the future!”

“What are you all playing at?” The leader had been baffled from the beginning to the end.

“In our departnt, in a few years, we might have the youngest mber yet.”

“`

“What?!” the leader exclaid in shock.

The departnt of the old buddy was quite formidable, handling all the big issues!

“Of course, that will also depend on her future performance. Mario Yuno is a legend, and perhaps his wife may beco one too… haha, this couple really sparks anticipation.”

As the wedding banquet drew to an end, Kiara excused herself to touch up her makeup.

Stepping away from the bustling banquet hall and standing in the quiet restroom, she looked at her exquisitely beautiful reflection in the mirror and silently sighed.

No matter how well everything was presented on the surface, how could there not be a single ripple in her heart?

It was rely a facade of happiness and shrewdness to minimize losses, a sacrifice for the bigger picture.

“I thought you wouldn’t co today.”

A pleasant female voice sounded from behind her.

Kiara intended to stay a while alone, not asking her bridesmaids to follow. Hearing this voice, it must be—

Kiara looked up and sure enough, saw Indri Yuno, the Yuno Family’s third child, standing behind her.

Indri Yuno was truly a beautiful lady, her facial features delicate and her figure graceful. As a singer, she carried an aura of nobility that those flamboyant stars outside could not match.

“You look very beautiful today,” Kiara complinted, while casually turning on the tap to wash her hands.

She needed the water to quell the emotional turbulence within her at the mont.

“You’re even more beautiful, but it’s a pity that the youngest didn’t see this. I thought you would be angry, you are clearly more tolerant than I expected, beyond my imagination.”

The Third Brother of Yuno Family was never afraid to offend people, daring to say anything, without consideration for ti or place.

But Kiara heard it, she wasn’t here to mock her. These words weren’t aid at her.

“I think we get along quite well. Your impression of hasn’t stayed at the ‘vulgar woman’ phase, has it?”

“I’m just curious, what exactly can marriage change a woman into?”

Indri Yuno and Kiara had regular interactions; they would talk on the phone almost every month. From the initial hypnosis sessions to help the third child sleep to later discussions on philosophy and life, they had developed a unique relationship.

Indri Yuno was an independent woman with an indistinct feminine charm. She seed unconcerned about everything except her family, with nothing leaving a mark in her heart. Yet, she was also extrely powerful, her ntal strength on par with the male mbers of the Old Yates Family.

Her train of thought was especially erratic, and conversations with her never stuck to a single topic. One mont she would talk about one thing, the next she’d jump to another, a pace difficult for most to follow. Poor Zeke Sean had been chasing after her for many years, to no avail.

Kiara always felt she must have so unknown story and that there was likely a knot in the Third Brother of Yuno Family’s heart. Sadly, with Kiara’s current capacity, she wasn’t able to untangle that knot, only able to help ease her emotions.

Now, faced with the Third Brother’s question, Kiara responded like this.

“Marriage is a process of mutual compromise and concession, similar to a social dance. Sotis it’s you advancing while I retreat, or I advance while you retreat; there’s also the process of moving forward or backward together. If well-coordinated, it should be a joyful experience; if not, it can be painfully awkward. But today’s concessions were not because of marriage.”

“Then why?”
