Chapter 964: Chapter 937: Academic Whiz, My Brother Singh Chapter 964: Chapter 937: Academic Whiz, My Brother Singh “All right, just apply so ice and rest over there. I’m guessing it’ll swell up bigger than an egg soon,” Jojo said rudely, but his actions were gentle.

To those foreigners watching the scene, it seed like a different picture altogether.

Hearing Kiara converse with the foreigners and even Mario Yuno answering back in ‘bird language’, Jojo Father, worried that his big deal might slip away, reflexively looked at Jenny Bailey. That girl translated faster than a translator.

“These foreigners say that you must have a very good relationship with Jojo. Mrs. Kiara said Jojo is a filial child. Wow, my brother Camden, he managed to translate ncius’s famous saying into ‘bird language’. How should the original phrase go…?” Jenny Bailey was in a bit of a bind. Translating these ancient texts was not only a test of literary foundation but also of one’s English proficiency, which was the hardest part.

“Only through filial piety towards parents, can one’s worries be dispelled. But the filial piety, can dispel lancholy,” Kiara cooperated with Mario Yuno’s deception, managing to take care of the mood here as well.

“Right, right, right!” Jenny Bailey nodded repeatedly, realizing that her level was still a far cry from that of Mrs. Kiara and her husband.

“What else did they say?” Jojo Father didn’t understand what was being said on the other side, but he could feel that the foreigners were captivated by Mario Yuno and Kiara, especially when the topic of Chinese Studies ca up. Their deanor changed, showing great interest.

“Those foreigners are very interested in Chinese Studies. My scholarly brother Singh suggested they talk about it while playing basketball,” Jenny Bailey explained.

“Then I—” Jojo Father saw an opportunity and seed ready to join despite his minor injury, not wanting to miss such a good chance.

“Just stay put, co on, I’ll help you over to rest. What are you looking at? If I can’t handle these few friends of mine, you won’t be any use even if you try. Co on, lean on !” Jojo, assisting the Old Man by the arm, helped him to his feet.

Though Jojo Father occasionally slipped up and referred to Jojo as his son, he hadn’t forgotten that Jojo was a girl. How could he bear to have his daughter support him so firmly? Just as he was about to push her away, Jojo firmly hoisted him up instead.

When had this child beco so sturdy…

Jojo Father was a bit bewildered. If he didn’t know for sure that this was his daughter, he might think the one with enough strength to help him up was a real son.

Turning his head, he found that Jojo was even taller than he was, with a sharp and distinct facial structure. If only Jojo were a real son…

“You old coot! What are you staring at! It seems like I didn’t hit you hard enough. Still got the nerve to think about nonsense? Get a grip!” Jojo scolded him.

To onlookers, the silhouette of the father and son was remarkably heartwarming as the injured father was carefully supported by his son.

“Hey!” Mario Yuno called out to Jojo, who turned back.

“That sentence was just to fool the foreigners. Actually, the sage also said, ‘Parents’ only worry is for their children’s illness,’ aning that being healthy is also a form of filial piety. You can also take it as sticking to your own choices, and not stressing yourself sick is being filial.”

“Pffft!” Kiara couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

Her man was quite the character, saying one thing to soone’s face and another behind their back. He knew how to speak the language of both n and ghosts—now that’s what you’d call ‘all roads lead to Ro’.

Jojo Father was left petrified by the revelation while Jojo actually laughed. “Brother, thanks a lot. I’ll buy you a drink when we get back!”

He felt so natural around Mario Yuno that Jojo’s Father felt stirred up again.

Jojo was becoming more and more like Jas Manfield. That aura, that style, where was there any hint of a little girl?

Mario Yuno and Kiara played ball with the foreigners while casually chatting about Chinese Studies. Although Kiara knew that Camden was quite good at foreign languages, she hadn’t expected him to have this skill, charming the foreigners until their eyes sparkled like little stars.

Noticing his daughter-in-law’s admiring gaze, Camden took the opportunity to explain in Chinese, “Using these tricks to hoodwink the foreigners works wonders. How could these people, with their brief history, ever fathom the wisdom left behind by our ancestors?”

Kiara gave him a thumbs-up, You’re aweso!

While they were engaged with the foreigners on this side, Jojo’s Father, anxious, kept glancing over, wishing he could sprout wings and fly over to listen in on the conversation.

He didn’t understand the foreign language, but he could feel that the stuff he had the translator say earlier wasn’t of any interest to the foreigners. However, after encountering the scholar-group, those foreigners were clearly captivated, leaving Jojo’s Father rubbing his hands anxiously, wishing he could imdiately join in and talk so business.

Giorno, who was nearby, noticed Jojo’s Father’s eagerness and suggested, “How about, I lend you my wheelchair?”

“That would be great!” Jojo’s Father couldn’t have been more eager. Now that was an observant Disabled Big Brother.

“Great nothing! Sit tight! If you go over there, you’ll just ss things up. Tell , what’s the actual situation?” Jojo didn’t want his father to go over. With the Old Man’s legs the way they were, if he moved and sothing went wrong, what then?

“What’s the use of telling you? You haven’t dealt with any of this; how could you be of any help?”

“Co here, Nurse pretty, take this Old Man away on a stretcher, don’t let him co back. That’s right, clear him out!” Jojo waved to the dical team and then, like a racketeer collecting protection money, put one foot on a chair, “Old Man, now that you’re crippled, do you still dare to fight ? You’ve fallen into my hands, haven’t you?”

“You’re going to be the death of !”

“Alright, Jojo, stop aggravating him. Uncle, what Jojo ans is he wants to take care of things for you. Just give a simple rundown of the business situation, and he can handle it,” said Jenny Bailey.

“Her?” Jojo’s Father couldn’t believe that Jojo could accomplish much.

“Don’t underestimate Jojo. Jojo is exceptionally capable. His Guild Hall has developed very well. It hasn’t been open for long and it’s already the most substantial martial arts coaching center in Linville. Plus, he’s planning to expand. He’s been negotiating with various departnts, and he’s even planning to take the Children out of the country for competitions during the sumr holidays.”

Jenny Bailey had been following Jojo around lately, and when it ca to his abilities, she was all thumbs up.

Don’t think that starting a hobby class is easy, dealing with all sorts of difficulties, including so approvals from relevant departnts, was all handled by Jojo. He and Olivia Plum Brown put their funds together, with Olivia mainly focusing on teaching and Jojo handling external affairs. In such a short ti, they managed to create a real presence for the class – no easy feat.

“That kiddish play-pretend thing he’s doing, how much money can it make?” Jojo’s Father scoffed, clearly unimpressed.

“You Old Man, you’re really insufferable! Sooner or later, I’ll surpass you. What’s the big deal with your stuff? You just got lucky with mining and beca an overnight tycoon. It’s not like you built it up with your real skills, with such low cultural knowledge, you can’t even understand or operate an electric shock device. Hahaha!” Jojo finally found an opportunity to take revenge for last ti.

“You ungrateful Little bunny, I may not understand, but can’t I ask? I just didn’t have the heart to electrocute you. If I had known you were like this, I should have electrocuted you until you started wearing a skirt!” Jojo’s Father felt that it wasn’t just his legs hurting now; this wretched kid was about to give him a heart attack!
