Chapter 943: Chapter 916 Defend Their Dignity Chapter 943: Chapter 916 Defend Their Dignity Seeing Kiara still puffed up with anger, Mario Yuno smiled at her, “What’s there to be angry about? Nobody’s perfect, and isn’t it good to have a goal? It saves you from being ‘one to beat’.”

“It’s different! Have you ever seen use my expertise to harm others?”

“As if you haven’t caused enough trouble…” Camden muttered softly, and Kiara glared at him with her eyes wide open. He imdiately put on a fake smile and said, “Right, you’re beautiful, whatever you say is correct!”

“One day I will prove myself, and no one will trample on my dignity or ss with my people right under my nose!” Kiara resolved to herself.

“If you ask , you just take things too seriously. Your anger cos from him saying you two are even, making you feel at a disadvantage, right?”

“Although I don’t want to admit it, it’s true.”

“I don’t see it that way.”

He reached out and scraped her little nose, “That guy himself said that Yuki Stone wasn’t like this before. So who is responsible for the way Yuki Stone is now? Isn’t it you?”

“But I didn’t use my expertise to take that guy down! It was Yuki Stone’s feelings for that helped !”

“Were those feelings there from the first encounter? They were all brought out bit by bit by my daughter-in-law’s charm and personality! Yes, he can hypnotize, and you haven’t learned his tricks yet, you temporarily don’t know that stuff, but does he have the ability to lead a person to beco a better person like my daughter-in-law does? You’re from the righteous path, and he’s from the crooked path, is there even a comparison? A black cat or a white cat, if it catches a mouse, it’s a good cat regardless of his tricks. So what if he uses spells, wasn’t he handled by my daughter-in-law?”

Huh…what he’s saying actually makes a lot of sense!

Kiara felt a bit flattered; Mario Yuno’s description of “that guy” using magic was spot on—using thods that Kiara had not mastered or even co into contact with really was almost like magic.

Seeing her still not quite satisfied, Camden felt it was ti to unleash his trump card.

Olivia Plum Brown was sent by everyone to find Kiara. The two cars arrived one after another, and after they had been parked for quite so ti without seeing Kiara and Camden get out, Jenny Bailey and Jojo were afraid that Kiara and Camden would start fighting, especially since with Mario Yuno everything he does is theatrical, and also the kind that just one look would drive you nuts. Mrs. Kiara was also fuming, and if the two started squabbling, it wouldn’t end well.

As Olivia was about to knock on the car window, she vaguely saw the two people hugging each other intensely inside the car, and she accidentally caught a glimpse of her brother Langa’s hand seeming to reach sowhere indescribable…

“Where are they? They didn’t start fighting, did they?” Jojo asked worriedly as she saw Olivia return with a flushed face.

“Fight? They’re about to catch fire… Let’s just order first, pick the priciest dishes and let’s fleece my brother, to compensate for burning my eyes.”

Showing off their love every day and rubbing it in our faces, that’s just so unfair.

When Mario Yuno walked into the private room with his arm around Kiara, everyone looked at them with crossed arms and askance.

“What, did everyone’s eyes cramp?” Camden pulled a chair out for Kiara, and it was evident to everyone that Kiara’s mood was much better than before.

Olivia shook her head, “Tch, all of us tied together still aren’t as effective as my brother.”

The sister-in-law had been brooding for so long, but the sky cleared as soon as her brother showed up.

“You’re the one who talks too much. Are the dishes ordered?” Camden wasn’t annoyed, he grabbed the nu, and a few of them began to decide what to eat.

Kiara sat next to Yuki Stone, who looked at her guiltily.

“Because of you were upset.”

All of this was triggered by her, Yuki Stone had forgotten when was the last ti he saw Mrs. Kiara show such emotion in public.

“Why bring this up? I should be thanking you.”

“Thank for what?”

“Thank you for giving a goal to strive for, thank you for showing the priceless value of friendship.”

Yuki Stone blushed, “Why have you suddenly beco so cheesy? Stop being sentintal, snap back to normal quickly!”

After Camden adjusted her mood, Kiara was able to temporarily set aside the frustration of being slapped in the face and deal with the matters at hand objectively.

“Tiara Stone, speaking seriously, have you thought about how to handle your family’s situation?”

As this heavy topic was brought up again, Yuki Stone’s forced smile beca difficult to maintain.

She strained to tug at the corners of her mouth, feigning ease, “That’s not really a problem. I’ve already thought of a solution. Don’t worry about it.”

“What solution?”

“My dad bought a piece of land before, with the intention of using it for retirent. Now I have to sell it ahead of ti. Although it’s not enough to pay off the loans, it should keep us afloat for a while. My Mom still has a new formula in her hands. Once we develop a new product, we should be able to get through this.”

She spoke very lightly. Kiara didn’t quite understand business matters, but she felt it couldn’t be that simple.

“Where is your land? What kind of formulas does your pharmacy specialize in? Even if you want to launch a new product, it will take ti to make a profit, right? Also, if the Pharmacy Factory needs to undergo restructuring and reform, do you have any issues with personnel reserves, and—”

“Are you the ‘one to beat’ with questions?” Yuki Stone interrupted Kiara, afraid that she wouldn’t be able to explain herself if Kiara kept probing.

“We’ve had a strong relationship for so many years; you can tell anything you’re struggling with. There’s no need to bear it all by yourself.”

“What’s there to struggle with? Mrs. Kiara, don’t worry about my family’s affairs. Just think about it, our family business has been established for so many years. Even a lean cal is bigger than a horse, right? How could such a big ship sink at the first sign of a storm?”

Yuki Stone spoke as if it were all true, and Kiara looked into her eyes, trying to find any sign of emotional turmoil.

But there was none.

The girl had grown; she had learned to conceal her emotions.

The more Kiara saw this, the more concerned she beca. Yuki Stone no longer wanted to talk about it. Lifting her glass filled with cola in place of wine, she made a toast.

“Mrs. Kiara, here’s to you, for the priceless joyful tis we’ve had together.”

Kiara clinked glasses with her. Yuki Stone etched this mont of laughter into her heart.

She had experienced the most beautiful monts and had no regrets.

After the al, Yuki Stone declined Kiara’s offer to stay the night. She needed to go back ho, no matter what storms raged, for it was her ho.

Watching the pink car disappear into the night, Kiara and Mario Yuno stood side by side in silence.

Even if Kiara didn’t react imdiately, by the end of the al, she had figured it out.

She understood, and so did Mario Yuno.

“She really has changed a lot compared to a few years ago,” Kiara reflected.

Camden nodded in agreent.

Yuki Stone dealt with this matter with a lot of dignity.

Knowing the kind of relationship she had with Mrs. Kiara, all she had to do was say a word and Mrs. Kiara would undoubtedly do everything in her power to help her. But she didn’t say anything.

Yuki Stone had asked many people for help during this ti, but the last thing she wanted was to talk about money with her best friend.

She didn’t want to taint those unforgettable monts with money. Even if a bleak future awaited her, she would rather not ask, let alone trouble her friends. This was a matter of principle and dignity.

Kiara did not go ho directly after the al; instead, she asked Mario Yuno to take her to Teacher’s house. As Yuki Stone defended her dignity, Kiara also intended to uphold hers in her own way.
