Kiara maintained a dazed expression, Mario Yuno stood next to her without her noticing until Camden finally tapped her, and Kiara snapped back to reality.
“You’re back, how co so early?”
“Tiara Stone ca over, so let’s go out for dinner as a gesture of hospitality. What were you writing so intently that you didn’t notice when I ca in?” Camden was still unaware of the conflict between Kiara and Tiara Stone, he simply thought Kiara was deeply engrossed in her howork.
Kiara glanced at her computer screen. Her computer had been on for so long, yet she hadn’t written anything, preoccupied with thoughts of Tiara Stone.
“It’s an assignnt from the Teacher, a paper on hypnosis. It’s said to be submitted to an authoritative overseas journal. The Teacher is holding a grudge, unhappy with the low international status of dostic Psychology.”
“Hypnosis? That’s sothing you use often, right? Just sweet-talking soone until they fall asleep.” Mario Yuno knew his daughter-in-law was skilled in hypnosis, having used it to treat many people.
“Hypnosis is not as simple as you think. What I commonly use is just scratching the surface, the real experts are much more powerful than … but never mind that, I’ll go check if Tiara Stone has woken up, and then we can pick a place to eat.”
The three of them went out to dine. Kiara chose Tiara Stone’s favorite restaurant, where the dishes were the sa as before and the chef hadn’t changed, but sohow it just didn’t feel the sa.
Kiara didn’t need to say anything; Mario Yuno could already sense that sothing was off between the sisters.
When Kiara and Tiara Stone dined together in the past, it was always lively, chattering away endlessly. Although Kiara mostly just listened, her face would always be adorned with a relaxed and joyful smile.
But now, with Tiara Stone silent and Kiara not as relaxed as before, they both seed tense.

Kiara’s private stash was definitely bulging, with Camden handing over his earnings to her and neither of them being short on money. But life always needs a bit of surprise.
Seeing his anticipation, Kiara pushed his handso face to one side with her hand, keeping him from listening, and continued talking to Susi.
