After Kiara hung up the phone, her face still slightly flushed.

Mario Yuno was already dressed in his suit, ready to go to work, but he rushed in as soon as he heard his wife’s call.
“Quickly look at what’s wrong with Beautiful Lady?”
“Did she eat sothing wrong?” Mario Yuno had never seen this situation either.

“…If I knew that would be great— No, that’s not right. She hasn’t been out at all during this period; how is this possible?”
Kiara was filled with question marks, wondering what was going on, suddenly expecting additions out of the blue?
The Veterinarian laughed even more. “It takes two to tango. Think about it, Beautiful Lady is purebred. A bad match would be a waste, but a good match might result in a puppy that could be trained as a working dog.”
“I’ve been the one walking the dog all this ti; I haven’t noticed anything unusual.”
That downright scandalous act took place under her very nose?
After thinking for a long ti, Kiara couldn’t figure out who made her dog pregnant, nor had she noticed any signs from Beautiful Lady in heat. It was so sudden; just like that, she existed…
Kiara pointed at Beautiful Lady, “What’s going on with you? I know about reproductive rights, but you could at least have given a heads up— Okay, you can’t speak…”
Beautiful Lady laid her head down on the table, listless and silent. Caring for a dog was almost like caring for a child, and seeing her like this, Kiara imdiately imagined her dog had been mistreated, possibly even forced. The frustration was simply maddening!
The veterinarian tried not to laugh but couldn’t help it when suddenly, Kiara had a flash of insight.
“I rember now! It’s been here before!”
The veterinarian wasn’t laughing anymore.
“Are you sure?”
“I’m sure! Arlong brought it here!”

Seeing Ashan, Beautiful Lady, too, broke free from Kiara’s grip, and the two dogs snuffled each other curiously.
Panting, the trainer ran over and, upon seeing Mario Yuno, saluted in fear, recognizing the legendary figure.
“One, my Ashan isn’t usually like this! I don’t know what got into him today…”
Mario Yuno waved it off, “Ashan and Beautiful Lady co from the sa Base.”
The trainer exhaled in relief. Ashan was the best among this batch of dogs, and it would be troubling if his disobedience today left a bad impression on One.
One might not care, but Lady One’s eyes were shooting daggers now, watching this scraggly black dog circling her family’s beautiful Beautiful Lady. Mrs. Kiara faintly felt she might have cracked a big case…
