Chapter 1505: Chapter 1477: A Critical Mont
Kiara turned and ran, with those people relentlessly in pursuit.
Though she had looked over the nearby terrain on the map provided by Fox Cat, the map was different from reality after all, and with the relentless pursuit of those people behind her, Kiara could hardly care about what year it was, only desperately rushing forward.
Under the light of street lamps, in the unfamiliar streets of an unfamiliar land, Kiara especially wished she could just scream for help, and soone would co to her rescue.
In fact, she did scream, but Kiara herself knew that her cries for help would not be effective.
After all, this was overseas, where land was vast, people were scarce and she had just left JR’s private territory. There was hardly any ho along the way, let alone any cars. Any cars coming this way would definitely be headed toward JR’s Headquarters.
But if she did nothing and let herself be captured, Kiara just couldn’t accept it, so she kept running and shouting as she went.
Her calls for help must have sounded so ridiculous to those n chasing her, a dying woman amusing the bloodthirsty n behind her. Kiara didn’t look back, but she could clearly hear the villainous laughter of those n.
The distance between them was closing fast, and being caught was a matter of minutes.
Kiara steeled her heart and darted into a small grove beside the road.
It was better to run into the woods than continue on the straight highway, as it seed there was more hope of escape.
She could hear the curses and mockery of the pursuers behind her, knowing that if she were caught in the woods she might be treated even more cruelly, but she had no choice.
She could only take a gamble.
Kiara burst into the woods and had run less than a few ters when she felt a great pulling force from behind. Soone had grabbed her from behind!
“Let go of !” Kiara scread.
“Stinking woman! See where you can run now!” The man grabbed Kiara’s arm and, despite her resistance, pulled her straight out. Kiara fought fiercely as the man threatened in English.
“Move again and I’ll kill you!”
“Help~” Kiara clung to a tree, refusing to budge.
“You foolish woman, still not enlightened? Scream your throat raw; no one will save you!”
Kiara refused to let go, considering that based on her many behaviors such as castrating Norris Grandfather and setting fires, she definitely would not end well if captured. Fox Cat had already been exposed, and no one would coordinate from inside and outside to save her anymore. Pretending to have amnesia was no longer effective. She would rather die outside than go back and be tortured and humiliated!
Seeing Kiara’s refusal to obey, the man’s temperant flared, and he pulled out a gun from his pocket and aid it at Kiara’s head, “Get moving, or I’ll end you!”
“If you dare, kill ! Shoot!”
Kiara didn’t let go even in the face of death.
The man’s anger was provoked, he unlocked the safety, making a move as if to start shooting while cursing.
“Seems like you need to be taught a lesson. I told you no one will co to save you, the less you struggle, the less pain you’ll feel—ah!”
Kiara closed her eyes waiting for the pain to arrive, but when she heard an odd noise, she turned around and saw the man who had been so overbearing lying on the ground clutching his hand, a throwing knife embedded in it, howling in pain!
What had happened?
Kiara looked around and realized that the man was the only one who had made it to the small grove. Where had the other pursuers gone?
Because it was dark, she couldn’t see clearly, but she heard footsteps approaching. She ran without even thinking about who might have injured the man.
She hadn’t run more than a few ters when she felt her body being embraced from behind. Kiara struggled like a madwoman.
“Let go of , you bastard!”
Her struggles grew fiercer, which only made the arms holding her tighten more. A familiar voice rang out behind her.
“Kiara, it’s !”
That voice!
Kiara thought she was hallucinating. She stiffened, not daring to believe as she tensed up—could it be—
“Silly girl, can’t you recognize my voice after just a few days away from ho?”
Kiara turned around, and the man in black behind her pulled down his face mask, his eyes filled with undeniable deep affection—who else could it be but Mario Yuno!
Kiara scread, hugging him tightly, her eyes closed in excitent.

She knew it, she knew he would never abandon her, she knew he would definitely co for her!
“Is it you, Camden, is it really you? Am I dreaming?”
This was more than she dared hope for even in her most beautiful dreams.
“It’s , you’re not dreaming—sorry, Kiara, I’m late. Are you hurt?” He first hugged her tightly in his excitent, then after a few seconds, he thought to check on her.
His hands were almost trembling. Having just seen that despicable man pointing a gun at her, Mario Yuno’s heartbeat nearly stopped.
Thank goodness, everything was still in ti!
He had managed to pull out a knife and throw it just in ti, hitting the man and successfully rescuing Kiara!
A mont later, and his treasure would have been in danger.
The two held each other tightly once again, and Kiara couldn’t believe her luck even up to this mont, how could it be such a coincidence? He had descended from the heavens just in ti.
They were so close, just a bit closer to being separated by life and death and never seeing each other again!
Mario Yuno held the small figure in his arms, his surging emotions hard to conceal. His heart, tornted by worry for so many days, finally settled down the mont he saw her.
He had found her! She was still alive and in his arms! The two were finally reunited.
Mario Yuno had received a hint from Molly Palr and had co with his n to rescue Kiara. He had arrived two hours ahead but had not acted rashly.
This area, being close to JR’s Headquarters, was likely to have high-end surveillance equipnt, according to Mario Yuno’s experience. If they had rushed in and been discovered, they could have retreated safely, but Kiara would certainly have been taken hostage.
To ensure her safety, Mario Yuno had his n lie in ambush in the small woods by the roadside, planning to mix in with JR’s cars and scout out the defense before attempting a rescue.
He hadn’t yet figured out the other side’s map when Kiara and Norris Flowery Fox ran over.
At first, Mario Yuno and his n didn’t realize the person running towards them was Kiara. It was Kiara’s frantic cries for help that drew Mario Yuno’s attention; he recognized imdiately that it was the voice of the woman he yearned for day and night!
That’s why he was able to draw his knife at the crucial mont, rescuing Kiara in the nick of ti.
Once he confird she was okay, the fatigue in Mario Yuno’s heart seed to vanish, yet he couldn’t quite believe she had really been saved by him—so effortlessly, so unexpectedly, as if she were a gift from heaven.
These past few days, although she had not suffered too harshly, her nerves had been on edge every second. Even in her dreams, she did not dare relax. If it hadn’t been for Fox Cat fiercely protecting her, she and he might have had to wait who knows how long to see each other again—
