He was not interested in the outco of the competition but was worried that his woman would be upset over it. Kiara pulling Aka was to help Aka escape her psychological shadow, and if Kiara herself lost her composure and the competition, it might bring Aka down even more.
Now, Mr. Zoel just wanted to drag the unruly Youngest Brother of Yuno Family out and give him a beating.

Weren’t these two just bickering?

Aka clenched her fists. Her feelings toward her little sister Emily were now extrely complicated. It was no longer simply fear. Aka looked at Zoel, who was rooting for her, Mrs. Kiara, who cared about her, and the Eldest Brother, whose mouth said nothing but whose body was honestly asking for a beating. She clenched her fists.

Upon arriving at the venue, Edward Farmbright went in through the front entrance with Zoel, while Kiara took Aka through the exclusive passage for players. While checking their IDs, a shocked voice ca from behind.
“Aka? What are you doing here?” Akatenango stood behind Kiara, surprised at the sight of soone who shouldn’t be there.
Kiara glanced at Akatenango but was surprised by her state. That wasn’t right. Akatenango’s reaction was completely different from what she had expected.
Not far away, a figure wearing a mask watched all this, lifting a sinister smile.
