Chapter 1191: Chapter 1163: Harm Soone Without Profanity (Additional update for 1100 monthly tickets) Chapter 1191: Chapter 1163: Harm Soone Without Profanity (Additional update for 1100 monthly tickets) Kiara often heard it said, “You look like your mother.”

This thought had always been in her heart, so today when Grace Bradford said it, she asked in surprise.

“I’ve studied sketching and am very knowledgeable about human anatomy. You don’t resemble her much, but your brother does. Maybe you take after your father more,”

Grace Bradford explained.

Kiara’s mind conjured up Rico Clark’s grim and sleazy face and she felt a sudden chill. How could she possibly resemble that man?

“By the way, my family doctor is coming shortly to give my father a dical check-up. Would you like him to have a look at your brother’s leg too? He’s quite knowledgeable about orthopedics,” Grace Bradford offered.

Kiara snapped back to reality and pretended to be delighted, “Would that be convenient?”

“Of course, it’s no trouble at all.”

“Then I must trouble Elizabeth Bradford,” Kiara said.

Grace Bradford went inside to make a phone call and within 10 minutes the doctor arrived. Arlong was sitting there, completely engrossed in his ga, listening to everything around him but careful not to seem out of place.

“His leg has suffered an injury, and it appears to have been so ti ago. I can prescribe so dicine to aid in his recovery,” the doctor concluded, and Grace Bradford was completely relieved.

Since the injury had happened so ti ago, it couldn’t be an undercover agent from over there. Moreover, the picture Kiara showed to her had convinced Grace Bradford; she was now completely at ease with Kiara and her brother.

Once they left the Moore Clan, Arlong breathed a deep sigh of relief. Even though he had just been playing the role of a videoga-addicted simpleton, he could still feel the undercurrents of tension between his sister and that woman. In just one hour, dangers had lurked from every quadrant, yet his sister had managed everything with ease, causing Arlong to admire her imnsely.

“Sis, aren’t you afraid?”

“Afraid of what? Don’t all people have a head on top of four limbs? At most, it’s just the heart and mind that differ. I specialize in studying the human heart; no matter her origins, in my notebook she’s just a few lines of character analysis at most.”

Absolute dominance! Arlong admired her greatly.

“Sis, why aren’t we going ho?” Arlong noticed that Kiara was driving in a direction that wasn’t towards ho.

“To buy clothes.”

Kiara took him to the largest market mall in Linville, heading straight to the most expensive n’s clothing section.

“Find his size,” Kiara told the Shopping Guide.

“Certainly, just a mont,” the Shopping Guide replied.

“Sis, I’m not the sa size as my brother-in-law, right?” Arlong was slightly shorter than Mario Yuno but a bit heavier.

“If I tell you to try it on, just try it on. Why all the fuss?”

Kiara had just noticed her brother’s sleeve was coming undone and thought about getting him new clothes. Now that Arlong had caught her eye, naturally she wanted to pick out the best for him.

“Isn’t this unnecessary… I don’t get a chance to wear this kind of stuff normally, and it’s quite expensive.”

“Hurry up and get in there to try it on!” Kiara kicked him, and Arlong hobbled into the fitting room on his crutches.

He had barely been inside for 2 minutes when a loud crash was heard, followed by Arlong’s pained cry. He must have clumsily fallen.

Kiara rolled her eyes. What an idiot!

“Is there a male Shopping Guide? Send one in to help him try on clothes,” Kiara asked the assistant.

“Our boys are moving goods downstairs; can you wait a bit?”

“Sure.” Kiara wandered around the store, and the Shopping Guide, fearing she might leave without buying, tried hard to find topics to talk about.

“Sis, when you first ca in, I thought you two were a couple. It wasn’t until the gentleman called you ‘Sis’ that I realized you were siblings. Not many people these days care for their brothers as you do.”

“Oh? We don’t look alike?” Kiara asked casually, thinking of what Grace Bradford had said.

“Not much, but you’re pretty, and your brother is suave. I’m envious of those with such good genes,” the Shopping Guide flattered them, though it was true that both Kiara and Arlong were quite good-looking.

A person’s thinking is directly influenced by the attitudes of those around them. Growing up, whenever Kiara went out with her mother, people would flatter her by saying she looked pretty like her mom. Now that she had left ho, hearing that she didn’t resemble her mother was a novel idea to her, planting a new seed in her mind.

The n’s clothing brand in the market mall was pretty expensive, so it had a separate shop with luxurious decorations to accentuate the brand’s high-end status.

Suddenly, Kiara stopped at a display.

The showcase displayed this season’s new products, including n’s belts and glasses, but what caught Kiara’s attention was a wooden ashtray.

“Is this for sale too?” Kiara felt the ashtray’s patterns seed familiar, then she rembered!

That was the sa pattern as on the mysterious wooden box in Grace Bradford’s study room.

“Ah, sorry, miss, this is a display item we use to showcase our products; it’s not for sale…” The Shopping Guide apologized with a regretful expression.

At that mont, the male store clerk returned, and the female guide quickly directed him to help Arlong with his clothes.

“I really like this; can’t you ask your boss if he might sell it to ?”

“This— Please wait a mont.” The female clerk asked Kiara to wait and went into the storeroom to make a phone call.

This wasn’t a sales peak period, so the shop used this ti to restock. The boxes that the male clerk had just brought up were placed on the ground, many of the items inside remained unopened. Kiara wandered over to the box and spotted another little wood carving, nearly identical to the wooden ashtray, carved in the shape of a nacing python, adorned with the sa patterns!

“Lady, our boss said if you really like this ashtray he brought back from overseas, we can sell it to you. But because it’s not processed through the market mall’s system, would it be okay to pay in cash?” The female clerk returned from her call.

“That’s fine. Could you also sell that wood carving? I find it quite interesting,” Kiara lifted the snake carving, “I just happen to need a stand for my jewelry, and this looks quite unique.”

“Alright, I’ll ask my boss about the price.”

“And, I have a habit when collecting things; may I ask where it was made?”

“Okay, one mont please.”

The clerk soon returned with a price for Kiara.

Arlong also ca out of the fitting room at this point and was taken aback by the price.

“Sis, these two worthless pieces of wood cost as much as two months of our salaries; don’t buy them. I can whittle you one, okay?”

Kiara gave him a sharp look, “Get out of my way, you aesthetic ignoramus!”

That night, when Mario Yuno ca ho, he saw his daughter-in-law fiddling with the ashtray and the carved wooden snake on the sofa, and Camden casually remarked,

“Arlong is quite sothing; his carving skills are nearly as good as mine were in elentary school.”

An insult without a bad word, Camden thought these were just so crafts Arlong made in his spare ti.

“What are you talking about? My sister spent over a thousand to buy these,” Arlong couldn’t understand why his sister would spend so much Money on such things.
