"I just don’t want you to get your way. Besides, you’re still sowhat popular, so I don’t want to waste a money-making resource," Elias Sinclair glanced at Quinn Lockwood with his narrowed eyes.

Seeing the woman’s surprised expression, he seed afraid she might misunderstand, and emphasized, "Don’t overthink it, I will never be attracted to you."

"Alright, alright, just as you wish, I absolutely won’t like you either," Quinn Lockwood pursed her lips and rolled her eyes at him.

"But this little lady is ignorant and lacks skill. If I accidentally ruin Mr. Sinclair’s business, please don’t hold it against ," she said in a deliberately sarcastic tone, deliberately provoking Elias Sinclair.

"Anyway, you’re aware that scandals surround constantly, and there’s nothing comndable about ."

Elias Sinclair knew she was purposefully provoking him, causing the atmosphere around him to beco a bit dense.

A flicker of amused appreciation flashed in his eyes as he slowly spoke, "Not quite."

"Huh?" Quinn Lockwood was stunned, then her small face suddenly wrinkled like a chrysanthemum, she was just speaking casually, alright!

However, she guessed he was retaliating against her, surely there’s another sarcastic remark waiting for her, so she hurriedly changed the subject.

"By the way, why are you taking to your company’s studio? Also, what do you an by saying I don’t justify the investnt in studio equipnt?"

She really didn’t understand why Elias Sinclair wanted to take her to his company’s studio, what did his investnt have to do with her?

"The contract I signed with you this ti is more than just a simple renewal," he said, and Quinn Lockwood felt he seed to smile again.

She saw Elias Sinclair take out a folder from beside him and hand it to her.

She accepted the docunt, and seven bold words imdiately caught her eyes.

’Artist Cooperation Agreent.’

She suddenly had a bad premonition, this didn’t seem like any ordinary funding contract.

Quickly opening the docunt to look it over, the deeper she read, the tighter her brow furrowed.

Television, movies, stage performances, endorsents, photography, or modeling...

Damn, doesn’t this an I’ll really have to et up with Elias Sinclair often?

"What are all these, when did I agree to do any of this?" Quinn Lockwood forcefully closed the booklet.

If she weren’t controlling herself with effort, she might have thrown the contract at him directly.

"I’ve already chosen you as the spokesperson for my company’s new product." Elias Sinclair took back the contract.

As his eyebrow raised, he leaned closer to Quinn Lockwood’s side.

A faint scent of sophisticated cologne suddenly drifted from the man, and she abruptly withdrew her body.

Unaware, she bumped against the hard glass of the car window behind her.

The man in front of her didn’t stop, continuing to lean closer to her.

Quinn Lockwood’s heart pounded as if it was about to leap out.

What was he planning? Was he going to do sothing to her? No, absolutely not!

Just when she felt his lips were about to touch hers, he suddenly stopped.

Quinn Lockwood tightly closed her eyes, not daring to look at him, but Elias Sinclair burst into a chuckle.

"I said, there’s no way we won’t intersect again," he looked at the woman in front of him, her cheeks flushed with tension, and leaned toward her ear.

As if whispering between lovers.

"Next, we’ll head to the advertisent shooting location, don’t let down."

As the man breathed softly near her ear, Quinn Lockwood couldn’t help but shudder.

Elias Sinclair then returned to normal, adjusting his tie, and felt that she looked especially amusing when blushing.

But in Quinn Lockwood’s eyes, it seed like he was laughing at her.

She lifted her head, her gaze coldly fixed on Elias Sinclair, her expression full of defiance and resentnt.

"Sorry, I’m not in the mood for shooting advertisents right now, I need to discuss a new drama. I simply cannot accompany you."

With that, she tried to open the car door to leave.

"Your next drama is also my investnt, it’s already been decided," the man beside her spoke in a light tone.

"Didn’t you see the second clause of the supplentary agreent?" He raised his eyebrow and continued, "The company has the power to represent the artist in any action and take any asures."

"Well, I’m still not in the mood for advertisent shooting, goodbye!" She stopped paying attention to Elias Sinclair, turned around, and exited the car.

She quickly crossed the road, waved down a taxi.

Whenever she’s around Elias Sinclair, she just couldn’t feel good.

She even forgot to check how long the contract was signed for, still unsure when she’d no longer be under his constraint.

Although Quinn Lockwood was very unfriendly to Elias Sinclair and refused the next shooting requirent.

He surprisingly didn’t feel angry, instead slipping into deep thought.

What’s going on? Has Quinn Lockwood beco a different person? Inwardly and outwardly, seemingly transford.

Looks like he better pay more attention to her movents.

The woman now seed entirely outside his control range, and this uncomfortable feeling disturbed Elias Sinclair greatly.

Then he started the car and headed to the studio himself.

On the way back, Quinn Lockwood received a call from Anna.

She was told not to rush back, the new drama has been settled, and in a few days, the director will inform her of the specifics.

Anna also advised Quinn Lockwood to cooperate well with Elias Sinclair in the studio shooting, and not throw a tantrum like a spoiled young lady.

Quinn Lockwood wasn’t going to tell Anna she’d rejected today’s shooting requirent, lest it brings her discomfort.

What to do...?

She thought for a mont and made a decision.

It’s been a long ti since she visited Mr. Sherman; last ti she couldn’t really consult him because of Elias Sinclair.

Thinking of Elias Sinclair, Quinn Lockwood’s face imdiately darkened.

"I’m here to interrupt you again, Mr. Sherman," Quinn Lockwood respectfully bowed, then showed a very sincere smile.

"Don’t ntion it, I didn’t expect you could be quite persistent," Wendy Sherman was sowhat comforted to see Quinn Lockwood co for consultation.

Nowadays, few people realize their acting skills are problematic and are willing to humbly ask for advice.

"Co in, I have ti now and can teach you well."

Quinn Lockwood slightly bowed again and sat on the sofa.

"Try this tea, I’ve been really fond of it lately," Wendy Sherman poured her a cup and placed it before her.

Quinn Lockwood took a sip.

"The taste is indeed good," she smacked her lips, having taken only a small sip, yet the tea’s fragrance lingered long between her teeth.

"Acting is like tea," Mr. Sherman also took a sip, then slowly said to Quinn Lockwood.

"So people’s acting is good, it’s like this tea, worthy of savoring."

"While so bad acting is like mixed tea powder, at first it tastes aromatic and sweet, but the next sip seems undeniably forced," she looked at Quinn Lockwood with an earnest expression.

"Acting is like tasting tea; so understand it inherently, while others pretend to understand," Wendy Sherman’s tone had a hint of sternness, making Quinn Lockwood cautious in opening her mouth.
