Rebirth of the Movie Queen: Mrs. Sinclair, Please Hug Me! Chapter 391: The Misunderstanding Incident
Sharon heard this, the smile on her face paused slightly, and she quickly shook her head like a rattle, refusing, "No, no, no, I’ll stick to being an agent, managing others is not for , it’s not my forte."
Sharon is actually very smart and capable, but because of her cheerful personality and sowhat playful nature, she doesn’t particularly enjoy the troubleso matters in the company.
Seeing her refusal, Quinn Lockwood didn’t ask further.
After all, she was already on her side. Matters of the future could be dealt with later; for now, she just needed to keep Sharon by her side.
After showing Sharon around the company and introducing so of her schedules and procedures, everyone got into work mode.
Even though it was Sharon’s first ti being an agent, her familiarity with the work was in no way inferior to those industry veterans.
She could quickly and precisely pick out the few high-quality, valuable jobs from a heap of scheduled plans.
Way better than Anna.
Anna never considered Caron’s schedule comprehensively and only picked the high-paying ones.
Apart from scheduling and coordinating with advertisers, Sharon was also very proficient with the affairs of other departnts.
"Is the operations departnt’s proposal not ready? Urge them to print it out quickly, then inform the other departnts to get ready for execution."
Quinn’s fingers tapped quickly on the keyboard as she spoke to the assistant beside her.
It was already after work hours, yet the operations departnt hadn’t submitted their proposal, and it was unclear how far along it was.
If the proposal wasn’t ready and approved by the end of the day, a series of subsequent tasks might need to be postponed, which would hinder future plans.
"I’ll go check it out." Sharon put down the schedule in her hand and got up, intending to go to the planning departnt with the assistant.
"No need, Sharon, you go ho first, it’s already after hours." Quinn stopped what she was doing and glanced at the ti as she spoke to Sharon.
She was never one to exploit the residual value of her employees, and for tasks that didn’t require many people to stay behind, she preferred to handle them herself.
"I have nothing to do when I get ho, so I’ll stay with you. It’s not right for an agent to leave and let the artist work overti alone!" Sharon shrugged, showing no intention of going ho.
Seeing Sharon’s serious expression, Quinn felt a sense of helplessness but also a warm feeling inside.
It was already so late, yet soone was willing to keep her company working overti.
After checking out the situation at the planning departnt, Sharon found that there were no major issues, just so disagreents on team cooperation and slightly irrational work arrangents.
After doing so simple analysis and consideration from several aspects, her feedback made the team grasp the situation more clearly. She then ran back to Quinn’s office.
Not long after, the planning departnt submitted the proposal, only fifteen minutes past the regular closing ti.
At this mont, the office was left with only Quinn and Sharon.
"Late, what do you want to eat? I’m starving." Sharon leaned her head against the swivel chair, lazily swinging it from side to side as she asked.
"Anything’s fine with ; see what you’d like to eat." Quinn, resting her chin on one hand, was making notes on the proposal with a pen, her stomach also growling slightly with hunger.
Sharon pouted her lips in thought, then snapped her fingers, "How about Japanese food? There’s a Sakura Sushi downstairs that’s particularly delicious; I tried it when I was here for reconnaissance a few days ago."
In fact, Sharon wasn’t very hungry. Since training in taekwondo and working out long ago, she rarely ate at night. Now she was concerned Quinn might be hungry and didn’t want to trouble her to get food.
"Sure, I haven’t had sushi in ages." As soon as Quinn heard the words Sakura Sushi, her eyes lit up like twinkling little stars outside the window.
Hearing this, Sharon imdiately stood up, picked up her phone from the desk, and headed out.
"Wait for , I’ll be right back!" Sharon feared Quinn might say not to bother going downstairs to buy food, so she quickly dashed out of the office at a speed that didn’t allow rejection.
Quinn hadn’t even fully opened her mouth when Sharon’s figure disappeared.
What a whirlwind of a girl, so fast!
Quinn shook her head in mild exasperation. She felt Sharon was truly too kind to her. She wasn’t like a typical agent but rather took care of her like family, accompanying her like a good friend.
Even though they were the sa age, being with Sharon made Quinn feel as though she was the elder sister.
A charming and carefree elder sister with a different style.
After finishing the last section of the proposal, Quinn took the docunt to the planning departnt’s office area, checking on the status of other departnts’ files as well.
Sharon returned to the office with sushi and a salmon set, only to find a man’s silhouette in the darkened office.
The figure looked quite tall and upright, sitting at the computer desk, seemingly searching for sothing.
A man?
Sothing’s wrong; everyone else in the company, except Quinn and herself, had already clocked out. How could there be a man?
Besides, Quinn wasn’t in the office now, surely she was sent away by this person!
Is this a thief or a kidnapper?
Sharon’s crescent-moon eyes glead with a dangerous light. She gently placed the food at the door and took quiet steps toward the office.
Whether a thief or soone else, anyone caught by Sharon couldn’t think of leaving unscathed!
"Well, you’re a bold thief, aren’t you!" Sharon took two steps that felt like three into the room, jumping onto the desk and pinning the man to the chair.
Of course, Sharon was careful to avoid the computer and files.
Caron Grant, who was concentrating on finding the information summary of each employee in the talent agency, was startled by Sharon’s questioning and swift action.
"You?" Caron’s clear, peach blossom eyes widened slightly in surprise as he looked up to see Sharon.
Sharon’s brows and eyes held a trace of solemnity, and she directly jumped down to straddle Caron, positioning herself like a female superior over him.
Caron’s body instinctively leaned back, and in that mont of shifting, he lost his balance and fell to the ground.
"Careful." Caron didn’t even care to ask about this agile girl’s identity, his large hand gently pressing her head against his chest, fearing the hard impact might hurt her neck.
Sharon assud Caron was being lecherous and imdiately pushed herself up, lifting her hand to strike him with her little face tightened.
