"Hello everyone, I’m Savannah Lowell."

"You’re just in ti. I was just chatting with Ariana about the issue of gifts. Maybe you can help co up with so ideas."

"Isn’t it because Ariana is already engaged? I suddenly rembered I haven’t picked out a gift to give her."

Quinn Lockwood looked at the cara in front, blinking apologetically with a bit of playfulness.

"By the way, Ariana, how did you and Jonah Hansen et? I think I heard that you knew each other a long ti ago, right?"

Quinn Lockwood picked up the microphone, seemingly taking on the role of a gossiping little journalist.

She wanted to see how Ariana Lynch would respond to matters of the past.

But as soon as Ariana Lynch heard Quinn ntion Jonah Hansen, her face suddenly darkened. She frowned at the microphones held out by reporters, unsure whether to respond.

"Yes, we were childhood friends." Ariana Lynch paused for a mont but still answered Quinn Lockwood’s question.

After all, in front of so many dia people, she still had to maintain a good image.

Quinn Lockwood’s mouth curled up in an indiscernible smile, as if having an epiphany, she said, "Oh, so you were childhood friends. That’s really enviable."

"Speaking of which, it suddenly reminds of sothing. I seem to recall hearing your and Jonah Hansen’s nas while I was in school."

"Who was it again?" Quinn Lockwood lifted her head, frowning as if in thought.

"Oh right, it was soone nad Quinn Lockwood, she should have been from the sa school as you and Mr. Hansen, right, Ariana? You two should know each other, right?"

Ariana Lynch looked at the amicably smiling Quinn Lockwood, and her whole face turned several shades paler, her slender eyebrows already twisted into a curve.

"You know her? How could you possibly know her?" Perhaps it was because she was too nervous and scared, Ariana Lynch’s voice was a bit hoarse.

Quinn Lockwood looked a bit puzzled at Ariana Lynch, slightly frowning as she said, "What’s wrong, Ariana? Are you not feeling well?"

Ariana Lynch’s eyes flashed with panic. She looked up to et Quinn Lockwood’s gaze, her heart tightening suddenly, quickly looking away.

What kind of gaze was that?

Dark and deep, like a ghost filled with resentnt.

Ariana Lynch looked into Quinn Lockwood’s eyes again, only to find her still calm and composed, completely different from just a mont ago.

She must have seen it wrong.

"Are you alright, Ariana?" Quinn Lockwood asked with concern, shielding Ariana Lynch from the photographers on the side, preventing any accidental collisions.

"Oh, well, I also forgot, it must have been during so programming event that I got to know her. I rember she was quite easy to talk to, so I chatted with her a bit more."

"I rember her ntioning sothing about having a best friend nad Ariana."

"Could it be such a coincidence that it’s you, Ariana?" Quinn Lockwood widened her eyes, looking at Ariana Lynch with great surprise, completely ignoring how awful her expression looked.

At this mont, the event staff ca over to inform that the interview ti was over. Although the group of reporters were reluctant to leave, they had to follow protocol and leave.

"Oh, Ariana, after the event back then, I even saw a man picking her up, who looked a lot like Mr. Hansen. They seed quite close. Do you know about this?" Quinn Lockwood suddenly switched to a gossiping face, turning to look at Ariana Lynch, her eyes widened.

Ariana Lynch was shocked that Quinn Lockwood knew so much about her past, her whole face beca frighteningly pale, and the arms hugging her own were gripping tightly.

"Oh well, whether you know it or not doesn’t matter anymore, after all, Quinn Lockwood—she’s already dead."

"What a pity, at such a young and beautiful age to perish like that. I still vaguely rember her face, with round eyes, her face was small too."

Quinn Lockwood smacked her lips, babbling on about the past, her expression indifferent as if these events had never happened to her at all.

"How could a perfectly healthy person get burned to death? Even in a fire, the neighbors would’ve noticed, don’t you know how surprised I was when I heard the news of Quinn Lockwood’s death...?"

"Why isn’t Ariana saying anything? You know about this, right?"

Quinn Lockwood still stood in the standard Chinese etiquette posture on the spot, tilting her head slightly to look at Ariana Lynch, with expectant eyes as if Ariana knew the truth.

Ariana Lynch was almost losing control of her emotions. She grabbed Quinn Lockwood’s shoulders with both hands, pulling hard, her whole body chilled with fear.

How could Savannah Lowell know Quinn Lockwood?!

She had clearly left that circle long ago, no one should bring it up to her anymore.

Savannah Lowell, how on earth does that bitch know about this!

"Ariana, it’s better to believe it than not," Quinn Lockwood patted Ariana Lynch’s hand and calmly said after she had quieted down a bit.

Ariana Lynch felt a buzzing in her head, she was starting to tremble uncontrollably.

"To express my apologies to Miss Lockwood, I’ll just wish you and Mr. Hansen a happy marriage on behalf of Quinn Lockwood."

"After all, you were so close before, if she knew about this, even in the netherworld she’d certainly be very happy." A slight harshness flashed in Quinn Lockwood’s eyes, her smile remained gentle.

"Oh? She also had the surna Lockwood, the sa as with your Lockwood Group, Ariana!" Quinn tilted her head, surprised by this coincidence.

"Ariana, you’re the long-lost daughter of Mr. Lockwood, I’m a bit curious why, since you’ve reunited for so long, you still haven’t changed your last na to Lockwood?"

Ariana Lynch’s face turned unsightly, she avoided Quinn Lockwood’s gaze, speaking in an unnatural tone: "It’s because I wanted to keep the old mories. After all, The Lynch Family raised for so long... I have to be sowhat grateful."

"Oh, I see." Quinn nodded as if she suddenly understood.

However, in the next instant, Quinn’s face suddenly darkened, as she lowered her head, and said to the terror-stricken Ariana Lynch with an ambiguous tone: "Ariana, then I wish you and Mr. Hansen a happy marriage."

Quinn deliberately lowered her voice, sounding sowhat ghostly and hollow.

Ariana Lynch’s eyes flickered with panic, her forehead covered in fine cold sweat, she stepped back step by step, her slender legs trembling uncontrollably.

It’s too terrifying.

The murderous gaze full of resentnt seed to vaguely glow red, like a vengeful spirit from hell, coming to exact revenge.

Ariana Lynch took another step back, her legs too weak to support her body anymore.

Only to hear the sound of large glass shattering echoing through the lounge, Ariana Lynch stumbled and nearly fell onto the broken flower pot pieces behind her.
