"Nina, is this handso guy your boyfriend?"

A female classmate suddenly teased Nina Sinclair, with a hint of envy.

"Casey, this is my brother!"

Nina rolled her eyes and said with a smile.

The female classmate walked away a bit embarrassed.

"Bro, let guess, did you co to pick up on your own, or did Grandpa ask you to?"

After getting in the car, Nina felt a bit bored and pretended to think by rolling her eyes.

"Grandpa."

Elias Sinclair said nonchalantly while driving.

"Oh man, why did you have to say it, so boring."

Nina pouted, looked out the window pretending to be angry.

Her brother was always like this, no fun at all.

Elias saw Nina unhappy in the backseat through the car mirror, shook his head helplessly, and handed over a box of chocolates from the passenger seat.

Nina took it, instantly delighted. She knew her brother loved her the most.

"Thanks, Bro."

As she spoke, she stuffed a piece into her mouth; foreign chocolates are just tastier, lting right away.

After driving for a bit, Nina seed to rember sothing and frowned, asking, "Bro, I read about those news stories online about Savannah and you, are they true?"

Girls at her school were gossiping, making her feel embarrassed.

"Fake."

ntioning Savannah Lowell, Elias’s face filled with disdain, his eyes turning a bit cold.

"Seems like she’s orchestrating it again by herself, what a troublemaker."

Nina was always outspoken, saying whatever ca to her mind, besides, she had never liked Savannah Lowell.

Back when they were at ho, she would always clash with Savannah whenever they t, without regard for ti or place.

Savannah’s personality was arrogant and domineering, while Nina was naturally rebellious due to her age, no wonder they couldn’t see eye to eye.

Elias remained silent; such scenarios were not new to him, he was used to it.

"Bro, is that woman going to be there later?"

Nina stared at Elias with a twisted expression; she didn’t want to see Savannah’s pretentious face as soon as she got ho.

Elias frowned slightly; that woman went out early morning, he really didn’t know if she’d be there later.

But according to Grandpa Sinclair’s plans, he would certainly call her.

Just then, driving on the road, Quinn Lockwood suddenly sneezed, wondering who was talking bad about her.

Soon after finishing a eting, Grandpa Sinclair had called her urgently, saying there was sothing important, asking her to co ho.

"Grandpa, I’m ho!"

As soon as Nina entered the house, she saw Grandpa Sinclair bustling around the dining table and happily called out.

"Oh, my little Nina is back, co quick, let Grandpa see."

Grandpa Sinclair was overjoyed to see his granddaughter and excitedly approached Nina.

"Grandpa."

Nina ran over and hugged Grandpa Sinclair. Ever since she was little, Grandpa had been especially good to her, she often missed him at school, sotis even more than Elias did in her heart.

"Good girl, why do I feel like you’ve lost weight, haven’t you been eating well?"

Grandpa Sinclair pinched Nina’s cheek lovingly.

It’s said girls should be raised lavishly, and the Sinclair Family was no exception. Nina was pampered from childhood, like a flower in a greenhouse, getting whatever she wanted.

So when she saw Savannah, she disliked her, because in her eyes, everyone should spoil her, except Savannah who frequently yelled at her, naturally leaving a bad impression.

"Speaking of eating, Grandpa, I’m really hungry."

Nina smiled, rubbing her stomach.

"Perfect timing, Grandpa prepared a welco feast for you. All your favorites, make sure to eat plenty."

Grandpa Sinclair pointed to the table full of dishes and led Nina over.

"Okay."

Nina nodded, though her eyes scanned the room, relieved not to see that annoying Savannah.

After settling Nina in, Grandpa Sinclair glanced at the clock and then said to Elias, "Elias, why isn’t Savannah here yet? Give her a call."

Elias froze for a mont and then pulled out his phone.

As Quinn Lockwood entered the mansion, she saw Elias’s car parked at the entrance. She frowned; was he there too? Grandpa wouldn’t be trying to match them again, would he?

"Grandpa, I’m back."

Quinn entered the house suspiciously, only to be surprised to see Nina sitting at the dining table.

Nina looked incredulous, then pouted and pretended not to see her.

"Savannah, you arrived just in ti. Little Nina just ca back from school. I called everyone to give her a welco. Go wash your hands and take a seat."

With everyone finally gathered, Grandpa Sinclair looked content. This was the atmosphere of a family.

Hearing this, Elias silently put down his phone and without acknowledging Quinn, walked straight to the dining table.

"Oh."

Quinn responded absent-mindedly, realizing Grandpa called her back for Elias’s sister’s welco gathering.

A strange atmosphere spread across the dinner table.

Quinn closely observed Nina; this was the first ti she t Elias’s sister since being reborn, but Savannah’s mories warned her that they didn’t get along.

anwhile, Nina was also watching Quinn, grumbling internally about why she was called back, ruining the mood.

"Savannah Lowell, you’re sothing else, trending on the news so often."

Nina couldn’t help but sneer while cutting her steak.

"Little Nina, she’s your sister-in-law."

Grandpa Sinclair showed a hint of anger; he knew they didn’t get along and didn’t greet each other, but for his sake, couldn’t they just sit down and have a al peacefully?

"She’s not my sister-in-law, just look at her previous news, it’s disgraceful. If she’s embarrassed, that’s one thing, but she shad our Sinclair Family."

Hearing Grandpa Sinclair defending her, Nina grew angrier. Why was Grandpa defending her in front of her?

Quinn endured Nina’s criticism in silence, rely eating her al.

It wasn’t a new grudge Nina bore against her, it couldn’t be explained overnight, and those incidents Nina spoke of were all fabricated, leaving her with no reason to justify them.

The atmosphere grew increasingly tense. Grandpa Sinclair shot a glance at Elias, signaling him to manage these two won, yet Elias pretended not to hear, leisurely enjoying French foie gras with red wine.

Seeing Elias ignore the situation, Nina grew even bolder, continuing her sarcasm, "Of course, she’s not bothered by such trivial gossip. Back then, she used every trick to marry my brother, why fear these?"

"That’s enough!"

Grandpa Sinclair couldn’t take it anymore; what kind of sister-in-law speaks of her brother’s wife like this?

Seeing her grandpa get uncharacteristically angry, Nina closed her mouth begrudgingly, making a disdainful gesture towards Quinn in the end.
