Rebirth of the Movie Queen: Mrs. Sinclair, Please Hug Me! Chapter 347: I Want to Take Care of You
"Savannah." Caron Grant noticed that Quinn Lockwood seed lost in thought and gently patted her shoulder, feeling a bit of bitterness in his heart.
Was she thinking about Elias?
"What’s up, brother?" Quinn snapped out of her daze and smiled sweetly at Caron.
In her past life, she only had her mom as a family, so she yearned, deeply yearned for familial affection.
Maybe it was heaven’s rcy for her pitiful state, giving her this chance to live again, along with such a gentle and elegant brother.
"How do you feel about Elias? Do you like him, or love him?" Caron gently placed his hands on Quinn’s shoulders, making her face him.
"What?" Quinn suddenly tensed and her cheeks flushed instantly.
"I don’t know." Quinn avoided Caron’s gaze, moved away, and evasively headed to the shade of a large tree by the road.
Caron quickly caught up with Quinn, seeming sowhat excited.
"Savannah, tell the truth."
"I can help you. I can help you divorce Elias. I will definitely protect you."
Caron stood in front of Quinn, retreating with her steps, his eyes seemingly filled with fragile stardust.
Quinn had never seen Caron so excited, and from his tone, he seed to really want her to separate from Elias Sinclair.
"Brother, what’s wrong with you?" Quinn stopped in her tracks, tilting her head to look at Caron, finding it very strange.
"Savannah, you are the most cherished... the most cherished part of my life."
"As long as you have any needs or anywhere you need , I will give without regret and help you."
"If, if possible, I am willing to take care of you for a lifeti. I definitely won’t let you be wronged or unhappy in the slightest."
Caron stood less than a step away from Quinn, his gaze intense and filled with deep affection.
The man’s exquisitely chiseled face was handso and beautiful, with a high nose bridge that sketched perfect curves from the side, gentle and pure like an angel.
Quinn felt a ripple in her heart, an indescribable feeling surging inside her.
She always felt that what Caron wanted to express was not just the surface-level aning, nor was it rely a sibling affection.
"Thank you, brother." Quinn lowered her head, not wanting to continue this topic.
She was afraid of misinterpreting Caron’s intentions, and also afraid that he might have other feelings and thoughts about her.
This hard-won sibling affection, Quinn didn’t want to break or lose lightly.
She just wanted to keep living like this, happily and stably, with parents, a brother, and good friends.
"So, Savannah, you..." Caron took a small step forward, holding Quinn gently, his eyes showing a hint of expectation.
Quinn shook her head, smiled lightly at Caron, and said casually, "I’m doing well and happy now."
"Elias Sinclair is pretty good, and treats well. During this ti, he’s helped solve a lot of troubles, and I’m grateful to him."
Quinn t Caron’s clear and moist eyes, her lips forming a slight smile, appearing joyful.
"Furthermore, our marriage was just made public not long ago. Any abrupt changes now would affect us both quite a bit, right?"
"And the business and financial circles would certainly experience a significant upheaval due to the division of the Su and Sinclair families, wouldn’t they?"
Quinn didn’t know why she ca up with so many reasons not to part ways with Elias Sinclair.
It seed there was always a firm belief in her heart not to diverge from Elias.
Caron’s gleam in his eyes gradually dimd, the perfect curve of his lips disappearing as well.
"Savannah, I will always be behind you, whenever you need." Caron’s smile turned bittersweet at the corners.
He opened his arms, gently hugging Quinn, his shoulders trembling slightly.
"I’ve never really hugged you properly before."
"Sister." Caron softly stroked Quinn’s hair, his chin lightly resting on her head.
The word "sister" ca out rather bitterly.
The faint scent of trees graced Quinn’s nose, stunning her for a long while.
Even though she and Caron had hugged a few tis before, this was the first ti for such a forceful and emotional embrace.
Caron’s chest was not as broad and firm as Elias’s, but it carried a force that made one feel joyful and relaxed.
"I know, thank you, brother." Quinn still felt a bit awkward, gently patting Caron’s back, signaling him to let go.
Caron tightened his arms for a mont before reluctantly releasing her.
His clear eyes held a touch of complex emotions, as if wanting to say more yet ultimately remaining silent.
The two walked casually on the road for a while, and then Caron sent Quinn back ho.
"The pastries at The Auspicious Cloud Pavilion in the West District are very delicate. I happen to be going to the branch over there tomorrow. Should I bring so to your film crew?" Caron walked beside Quinn, his tone and expression as gentle as ever, as if nothing had just happened.
Quinn blinked unnaturally, still not recovered from her earlier thoughts.
"No need, brother. Don’t trouble yourself. I’m shooting for a magazine recently, so I can’t eat sweets." Quinn shook her head, sowhat trying to escape Caron’s kindness.
"Is that so..."
"Alright then." Caron lowered his eyes, the corners of his eyes carrying a hint of chill.
He tried his best to smile at Quinn but ultimately couldn’t pull it off.
He really was... too impulsive today.
After returning to Sinclair Manor, Caron stood outside for a long ti, not leaving.
After a while, Caron turned to leave, pulling out his phone from his pocket.
"Savannah, please forgive my abruptness and impatience tonight. I just wanted to say that you are an important part of my life. I don’t want anything to wrong you. I wish for you to live happily and joyfully."
His fair fingers tapped lightly for a long ti, so words typed repeatedly and deleted several tis before Caron sent the final ssage to Quinn.
He could clearly feel Quinn’s deliberate distance and avoidance later, realizing that in her heart, she simply regarded him as a brother.
The more Caron thought about it, the more regret he felt.
If the truth was really revealed today, he dared not imagine how Savannah would face him in the future, what thoughts she would have about him.
Caron was unsure and didn’t know if she had even a tiny bit of affection for him.
